I contacted Barry and after asking about what type of furniture and how many pieces were being moved was able to recommend what size truck was needed, how many furniture pads we should get, and about how long the work would take. He offered to pick up the truck if I wished although we chose to do that. He and his two helpers arrived exactly at the time agreed upon. They had a large challenge with the upstairs wardrobe since it must have been built or put together up there and would not fit down the stairs. They were able to remove the upper landing railing, maneuver it down the stairs and replace the railing after. They were all friendly, polite, efficient and took great care with all the furniture. The piano was also required a great deal of care and attention because the front legs were not attached to the base at the bottom which apparently makes them more subject to breaking if care is not taken in moving it. All the furniture was carefully secured in the truck.

The two guys who showed up promptly were courteous, good-natured and polite. They worked efficiently and quickly; they almost made moving enjoyable. The price was slightly above the quoted figure however they showed exactly how it was arrived at:: their costs, time etc., and it was a fair price.

This was the second time we used these guys, they were so good the first time. They were careful with our stuff and very communicative, telling us how they would be doing the job, keeping us posted of changes, costs, planned breaks, etc. They showed up on time and were courteous. Brought their own dollies and blankets, rented the truck for us (didn't take any commission on that). Barry is quite methodical in his packing and stacking approach, which I could see putting off someone who was impatient, but we were very happy that he took such care to keep our stuff safe and keep us from having to make multiple trips. Once the stuff was off the truck, the rest of the crew quickly got it in the house. He was very thorough going over the bill and showed us an itemized run-down of his out of pocket costs to rent the truck, etc.
