The original deal was for 3 rooms up to 1500 sq ft for $79 Even though the rooms were very small extra was charged for an additional room and the hallway so the price was twice as much. Three men showed up in three different cars so the limited parking caused two of them to illegally park on the street which caused an inconvenience for my neighbors. The rug scrubber took off the finish on my wooden thresholds so I had to have them redone at additional expense. All in all a bad experience that I don't care to repeat.

Wes did a fine job and responded to my needs quickly. The job was for showing a house to sell and the prospective buyers were impressed.

Vendor was on time and immediately said there was a $50 surcharge to move 4 pieces of furniture about 12-18" each. Actual work was pretty standard for the trade.

I am in the process of selling my home and wanted the carpets to be perfect. Wes vacuumed, cleaned and raked all 3 rooms. There was some furniture moving involved and he took care of that as well at no extra charge. Even tho it took a few hours for the carpet to dry the result is awesome. I would definitely recommend this service and will use it again myself. I took advantage of a coupon offered on Angies List so next time the price may be a bit higher but the end result is worth it.

Carpet cleaning was excellent, wood floor cleaning was good but more expensive. I will use them for carpet cleaning in future.

Wes and his assistant did an excellent job. They were able to remove stains including pet stains. The carpet looks great. They were also able to accommodate an early morning (7am) start time. We will definitely contact Wes again in the future.

We moved from Portland recently. When we arrived, the house we rented was in dire need of cleaning, including the carpets. The landlord agreed to hire someone to shampoo the carpets for us. They found Wes on Angie's List. He came on short notice and did the entire house for us. He worked with us as we moved all our furnishings and boxes from room to room to facilitate getting all the carpet shampooed. He was prompt, friendly and pleasant to work with and did a great job on the carpets for us.

They did a great job, were here on time, fast, efficient and were out of here in an hour.

I called them with an emergency on a Thursday morning. My dog had had accidents all over my great room the day before and the smell and stains were just too horrible to bear. Fearing I would have to wait another night or possibly over the weekend to get someone in, you can imagine my elation when he said they could be there within a few hours! They were absolutely professional when they came in, assessed the situation, and got to work right away. He used an enzymatic cleaner on the spots that did its job - no spots no stains no smells when they left. He was even able to get the brown stain out of my white wool rug! I will absolutely use 5 step again!

I received free quote for caret cleaning to be done, all my questions were answered and date was set. Arrived on time, cleaning was done in timely & friendly manner. Carpets look Great.

Wes was able to schedule the work quickly. He arrived on time and was done within an hour. He does not do "steam cleaning", so the carpet dries very fast, in an hour or two.

I cannot review this because I accidentally somehow signed up with a person in the wrong city!! Angies list was very quick to respond to my problem and refunded the money.

I really enjoyed Wes and his partner. They were so courteous and polite and knew exactly what to do. They also coordinated with another person Rosalba to do the general cleaning. I was even presented with a little care bag containing a cloth and spot remover cleaner in a spray bottle of the product they used. My floors feel so much better on the feet and I love that it was a non chemical formula used. I would highly recommend his service to others. The cost was $79.00 Angie coupon plus $566.00. My floors were horrible and they made them livable again!

When we scheduled the appointment, he explained that we should wait four hours after the cleaning before we walked on it. We were able to schedule our day according to that. We needed to get three rooms done and we wanted to make sure it was green cleaning without a lot of chemicals that would be safe for pets. I had emailed him any questions I had and he was responsive. He explained what type of furniture he moved and how he would work around the ones that would not be moved. We were really pleased with the results of the carpet cleaning. We were concerned about the areas that are separated from the ceramic tile to the carpet. He left us a gift bag with cloth, spray chemicals, and a card with the 5-step guide that you can view a video online to how he cleans so that we could treat it as necessary. We were really pleased with the work and are even considering hiring him additional for rug cleaning. Another thing which I thought was very helpful was how he had great recommendations on how to contact and obtain great contractors such as handyman and roofers. He was very thoughtful and not pushy about it at all, but knew that we are new to the area and seeking other service providers.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and he was able to set one up right away when I called him. One man came out to clean the carpets because that’s all that was needed for the job. He even arrived early to the appointment. There were no additional costs beyond the Big Deal. They did a very good job.

I have used many carpet cleaning companies throughout the years. Wes is by far the best. Wes and his grandson did the complete job including details to a highest quality level. I will definitely use Wes again. In addition Wes is am extremely fine person.

Wes' process doesn't leave any doors open, to the elements, for use of water, and his indoor machines hardly make any noise. He was friendly, courtious and very efficient, and I would recommend him, and "Five Step Carpet Care", to anyone.

Wes and the team at Five Step Carpet Care are experts- both in providing friendly service, and just plain getting carpets clean! I have 4 dogs and two cats, and a home I have lived in for four years with carpets that were aging when we moved in. After Wes's service, my carpet looked virtually new. He even got rid of some stubborn stains that I had unsuccessfully tried to remove with several consumer stain removing products. For any flooring or upholstery cleaning needs I would definitely recommend Five Step Carpet Care, and have done so multiple times to family and friends.

This company is not just a five step carpet cleaning contractor, they are a 5 star carpet cleaning contractor. Their work is top notch and they provide the best service I have ever dealt with. We just had a lot of insurance work done in our house due to a water leak that took out our kitchen. The carpet in certain areas of the house was thrashed because of the mess and the contractors who visited our house during the repair. This company came out and fixed everything, our carpets look as good as new now and they complement the repair area. A++++++ to them...

It went well. Wes has been here twice now and will be scheduled to come again.
