Description of Work: I'm assuming it was the owner, Mr. Fortino and one other gentleman that came to my mother's home to do the work. They arrived promptly at 7am and immediately went to work on her front yard. She like a lot of seniors on fixed incomes decided to turn off the water and let everything die back The work that they did entailed raking up and hauling away years of pine needles and bark, pulling up dead shrubs and old torn up ground cloth. They cleaned up all the decorator rock and when done went back over the sidewalk and driveway. They did a beautiful job and I'll definitely have them back.

Description of Work: Yard clean up- weeding, blowing, lawn mowing. Did a great job. Always do great for me. I left another service (first class lawn) due to high prices and not great service. Fortinos has beat them in price and quality ever since.

Description of Work: Pulled weeds in front yard and back yard, including moh strips. Raked leaves. Sprayed weed-preventive product on areas afterwards. Cleaned refuse from small pond. Trimmed bushes and trees. Hauled away several large green bags. Price seemed a bit high, but three guys worked for about three hours, so cost was probably competitive. We had not had professionals do a thorough cleaning in the four years we have been here. | |What was good also was that Mr. Fortino's son, Junior, was well aware of the HOA requirements in our community and worked at other homes here, so he knew how much weed and yard work needed to be done to satisfy the HOA.

Description of Work: I wanted to go zeroscape and that is what happened. They took up my lawn, laid plastic and then DG, There were only 4 plants and I feel that zeroscape (and my homeowners association) require more which didn't happen. I have an automatic sprinkler system which he never quite mastered. I feel like I should have been informed before starting that he couldn't work the automatic system. Then it would have been my choice to hire him. There was supposed to be a follow up, which never happened.

It’s on an on-call basis and they’ve always gotten back to us on time. They’ve been working for us for about three years and we have no complaints.

Description of Work: My husband and I bought a forclosed home so the yard had been neglected, FORTINO'S LANDSCAPING came out to our home pulled weeds and preped arrea so weeds would not return, removed dead trees (roots and all) mowed the lawn, trimmed bushes. And preped the back yard for sod to be laid down this spring.

+ 1 moreDon't judge a book by it's cover and you will be happily surprised! We had just moved to the North Hills and it was impossible to get any landscapers to come north of downtown Reno. Our lawn was out of control due to the sun, drought and our dogs - in sharp contrast to our neighbors well-manicured lawns! We called tons of places and Fortino's was the first one who agreed to come out to our Zip Code the same day! I wasn't so sure they were the right team for the job as they pulled up in an old pickup truck with the company name hand-painted on the side but DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! Three men piled out of that truck and did the most INCREDIBLE work on our yard! They are polite, helpful and extremely efficient!!! They edged, mowed and fixed our sprinkler system the very first day and have come back every week since, they adjust the sprinklers, they've seeded and fertilized the spots that needed it and have done it all pro-actively in a very efficient and timely manner! Give them a chance! As long as we live here we will never use anyone else!!!
