FORTINO'S LANDSCAPING

They came a day later when I called them on the 19th. They did a terrible job on the aeration and "thatching". They did not remove the cores and I don't know if they actually fertilized. They did NO weeding claiming they ran out of time but did not credit us the money.

Met with Junior and Senior prior and they noticed areas in my yard where I don't look, such as along the street on the side of the house and the side between my neighbors house & mine. The price was totally reasonable! They did what we agreed and they did an awesome job, very impressed! Will definitely call them again.

the job took 2 man 3.5 hours the work was excellent He said it would take all day and it would require 3 people estimated at about $600 It actually took 2 people 3.5 hours and he still wanted $600 When he first quoted lawn mainternance last year his service was excellent and he quoted an hourly rate for extras at $35?hr. I guess I was considered a soft touch He was adamant about his price and said he did not want to do work for me any more I paid him the $35/hr rate and we are FINI

Called for an estimate and got an almost immediate call back. They were available to come to my house to give me an estimate on the same day that I called. They were very pleasant and personable, and the estimate was very reasonable so we made arrangements for them to do the work. They did not show up when they said they would, arriving 3 hours late with no call to let me know what was going on. I had seen the comment made in several reviews that they had run behind schedule with other customers in the past, so I was not surprised and was not worried when they didn't arrive when they said they would. Fortunately I had a flexible schedule that day and was available when they did arrive. When they did arrive they got immediately to work and did a quality job, well worth the cost. I will definitely use them again.

Arrived timely, worked diligently, and finished a lot quicker than we had expected, based on prior experience. Also, used a gasoline shredder, which reduced the leaves substantially from what we had experienced previously - but they did an excellent job.

They showed up on time, did a good job quickly, cleaned up and left. Prompt, polite, good workers, job finished much faster than last guys. .

I needed Fortino's to keep my front yard properly trimmed so my house didn't look vacant. I had to be away for a few months and arranged everything by phone. I sent them a check and had to trust that they would perform as agreed. They were entirely satisfactory doing this basic service.

I asked to have all the leaves on my property cleaned up from the winter. I have about 1/3 acre with 15 trees on it so I had a lot of leaves. I asked for some pruning, especially with the thorny pyracanthas, in both the front and back yard. I wanted the flower beds weeded and a couple of bushes that weren't doing well removed. I was thrilled when I got home and the yard in the front looked fantastic. I was even happier when I went to the backyard and saw what a wonderful job they did including mowing and edging the lawn. And yes, all the leaves were picked up, uncovering a couple of small bushes, and making my yard, and house, look neat and ready for the spring and summer. I will definitely use them again for similar jobs and for yard maintenance jobs.

Fortino and a coworker were prompt and got the job done quickly. They planted 4 high quality shrubs, and did a nice job cleaning up the garden area. There were no surprises or over charges. They have done previous work for us and have always been professional, quick, and thorough. I would highly recommend them for yard/garden service and some modest landscaping work.

I live in St James Village and deal with high estimates all the time. Fortino and his crew came by this morning. My yard is large and very typical, but it is in excellent shape. I have my gardeners mow and rake the dirt around all the plants. I built this house 10 years ago and have had a lot of different workers. I know the work I wanted done would have taken less than 20 hours. They wanted $660.00 about double in my opinion. They were just trying to hit a home run.

They came when promised and did a huge amount of work in only a couple of hours. I will be getting them back to help clear out the back yard, which is also overgrown. They leave everything clean, including the sidewalks, driveway.

He was very good at what he did. He came out and did it. I had one problem with him. When I talked to his son, he didn't give me an accurate message. His son told me one day and they didn't show up until the next day, but that was it, just a misunderstanding. He knew what he was doing and was very thorough. He knows his stuff, that's what I liked about him. He's not just doing this to pass the time, he knows what he is doing.

Jose came out on Saturday morning and gave us the estimate. After reading the reviews on Angies List, we didn't even get another estimate. We gave him a $500.00 deposit and they began work on Monday. They finished the next day. It looks terrific. We are thinking about doing our back yard and Fortino's will be our first call. We are so happy with the work, we are going to have them do our fertilization and grass cutting this season.

Next time I use Fortino's, I am going to be sure that all parties understand what is to be done due to non-native speakers of English/non-Spanish speakers. Whatever wasn't done was not made clear by me. Otherwise, they are a hard working family doing good work.

Our yard needed a lot of work and they brought a good crew to accomplish the work quickly and well. They trimmed bushes and shrubs in the entire yard, mowed and repaired sprinklers. They raked under large shrubs and hauled away all debris. Everything looked so nice when we returned home. I would definitely use this company again.

They did a good job. They did it very quickly and reasonably priced. Good to work with.

Unresponsive... they never called me either to say they were too busy and could not take more work, or to schedule an appt.

The work went ok. Service was done expeditiously and on time. The clean up following the work could have been a little better, but I am pleased overall with the work and the price.

Came within two hours of initial call. Very professional and quick. Reasonable price.

We called Fortino's on the seventh to give us an estimate for repairing some sprinkler valves in our back yard. The guys came the next day for their estimate. On the ninth, they called almost 3 hours ahead of the scheduled time (we had told them the day before that earlier in the day would work better with our schedule) stating they were available. They arrived shortly thereafter and were very professional. They originally estimated an hour and a half, but finished in just under an hour. Fortino's dug out from the valve box about a foot to access the lines in question. They replaced two regulator valves for our drip system and repaired the lines. Upon completion of the repairs, they replaced the dug out dirt and returned the stone pathway so that it looks just the way it did before. After the job was done, they stuck around to answer some other irrigation questions we had. They suggested a solution that didn't result in any further cost to us. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to family and friends.

my drip irrigation system was not working. I had called (and paid for) another service to come out two different times, and they "fixed" the problem, but next day I was back to where I started. I called Fortino's based on Angie's list rating. They came out the same day, diagnosed the problem, quoted me a price, then came back in two days with the parts and fixed the problem. Very prompt service, and responsive to my schedule. I will use them again (instead of the prior service I used) for my lawn needs.

Fortino's was prompt and professional every time they were at my home. Jose was easy and pleasant to work with as was his father. In retrospect I should have had a better idea of what exactly I wanted but I am happy with the way it turned out, given little input from myself, they put it together excellently. The few difficulties I had were due to not asking the right questions. I ended up spending about $1000 more than I had anticipated which caused some stress on my part. When given the time frame for the work I didn't understand that they weren't going to be there every day, mostly on the weekends. Overall my experience with this company was very positive. I would recommend them to anyone asking and I would definately hire them again. My home looks fantastic!

Happy with the service. He was most apologetic about the first missed appt. As the weather had just changed for the better after a long bout of cold, could understand he was very busy. Gave us the option of a workable fix or a real fix, whch they would come back to do. We opted for the real fix, since we don't trust all the components of our bankrupt developer. The crew arrived on time, dug it out and fixed it. (Hard work as the leak had the ground total mud.) Put the rock landscaping back good as new. Definitely will use them again.

They did excellent work, arrived promptly and finished the entire job in less than a day. They were very professional and worked from the minute they arrived, no lost down time. I was out of town when they did the work and was very happy with what I found upon my return. They offer a full guarantee on the sod, I'm only a week in so I will have to see how it takes, but so far things are looking good. They were more expensive than other lawn companies quoted but I felt this company was the most professional during the quote process and they did a great job of asking all my needs. I am very satisfied.
