Description of Work: Initially came out to repair a leak in the sprinkler box, which I noticed when I found standing water in my crawl space. After the leak was repaired, they went above and beyond to examine the crawl space at no extra charge. We also discussed options to improve my drip irrigation as it was in need of service. They replaced several hundered feet for a very reasonable price and did quality work. Would definitely call in the future for any irrigation needs.

Description of Work: Small family business where we deal with the owners. Very responsive. Reasonable price. Do the extra little things that make a service difference such as blow leaves from paths and gardens; trim off dead limbs as a free service; remove obvious weeds although that is not required or charged for. Appear to sincerely want to do a good job. They go the extra mile to please and we have now set up an ongoing yard maintenance program with them. Previously used large services but never felt we got personal or caring service....Fortino's is a breath of fresh air in terms of old-fashioned service ethic.

Description of Work: Fortino's has been mowing my yard in an excellent fashion for two years. I've often requested extra work removing vegetation and repairing sprinklers. They always do a great job at a more than honest price.

Description of Work: These guys may be good if you can coordinate a good time for them. I tried to setup an appointment which I did. They called me 3 hours earlier and said they were in the neighborhood and wanted to stop by. I was 30 miles away. They called later to give me a price but couldn't come when I wanted them to but we scheduled a time that was convenient for them. They called yesterday and cancelled. I told the to forget it.

Description of Work: This company has provided multiple services in the last few months, all performed with care and quality. The first job involved getting my sprinkler and drip irrigation system up for the season; then returning for an aerating, thatching and fertilizing exercise; and now they cut my lawns (front and back) weekly. It is a family business that includes the owner, brother and son. The gentlemen are respectful, kind, courteous and patient. So much so that I have referred them to my aging parents.

Description of Work: They did come out promptly to do our spring cleanup-$250.00 They are coming out every 2 weeks to mow and trim lawn. We've asked them twice, if not three times to give us an estimate on laying some new sod in areas and spraying for weeds in our rock area. Have never been able to get them to respond to those inquiries. We finally pulled the weeds ourselves and put down some grass seed. Can't figure it out.

Description of Work: I have 1 and 1/3 acre fully landscaped with grass, flower beds and an orchard, with sprinklers and drippers. It needed weeding badly everywhere...grass was growing inside of plants and weeds were out in the orchard and everywhere. Jose and his dad came out to give me the estimate and I felt it was reasonable for the area they had to cover and they said they had a crew that could accomplish it all in one day. We set up the date and time, and Fortino, Fortino Jr. and 2 others came on time and even a half an hour early to beat the heat. They worked approx. 3 1/2 to 4 hrs., using the weed whacker in the orchard area and pulling grass by hand around the plants. They cleaned up and even blew off decks and all hard surfaces. They missed a few spots here and there, but who wouldn't with the amount of work to do. And they assured me they would take care of anything they missed and would repair any drip or sprinkler hoses that might have been damaged from the weed whacker. I have hired them to mow and fertilize my lawn on an every other week basis. and will hire them a couple more time this season to deadhead, trim, and rake leaves in the fall. I understand they even do snow removal so may give that a try also. My husband passed away last year and I'm so thankful to have found someone reliable who knows so much about plants and yard care. They also know about sprinkler turn on/off and repair so I will try them out on that also. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a small or large yard.

Description of Work: Replaced leaking underground manifold on sprinkler system. They showed up the same day that I called, which is impressive. Good listener and doesn't answer until problem until it is understood. Did a very good job, but with one old part defective (minor problem). I signed up for lawn service and they've done a perfect job on that at a very good price.
