From my initial contact with Allen Plumbing, through and after the completed project, I could not have been more pleased. Their bid was hundreds of dollars less than other competitors. The project was thoroughly explained and they always showed up on time. Lamont and Javier were professional, friendly and hard working. They always left the work sight clean. Lamont is very good about responding to questions and also very good with getting back to you in a timely manner. My wife and I are very happy with the completed project. Lamont displayed his honesty after the project was completed. A week later I noticed a ringing sound when my home heater ignited and would continue until the it turned off. I contacted Allen about the problem and he was out within hours. He could have easily told me the heater needed replacement parts and completed the repair for a fee. Within seconds of his arrival and listening to the system he diagnosed the problem as being caused by a slight bend in the flexible gas line that connected the heater to the newly installed gas plumbing for the water heater. This was causing a harmonic vibration in the line that made the sound. He corrected the problem at no cost. I highly recommend Lamont and his company to anyone and plan to use him for all my HVAC needs in the future.

Lamont was great to explain the issues and help me understand what needed to be done. I plan to hire Allen Heating and Air to do maintenance on our a/c and furnaces.

A refugee CA investor Ipurchased a distressed but well located property. Vacant for several years with city water off, I needed a quality craftsman repair plumber to set the plumbingsystem right. A big and expensive 2 day project for 2 men. Very pleased with the quality of the work. They will be back in 2 weeks for a day or 2 to bringthe improperly installed heating A/C system back on line. Lamont is just awesome; as a small business owner, he represents the best of the best. Professional, fair, articulate and does quality work each and every time. Have used his company for the past three years and will continue to do so in the future. As it often happens, the kitchen sink/faucet area sprung some leaks and loose equipment. Though busy, Lamont always finds a way to meet the needs of his customers. In our case, he said he would come very early before his scheduled appointments and address our issue. He came in, did the work quickly and efficiently...explained every he did and in terms, we all could understand!

There was lots of digging manually & by machine, rock hauling & moving pavers involved. All the dirt & pavers were replaced as much as possible to their original condition. I have nothing negative to say. Lamont Allen is someone I will use again.

Lamont was the original installer of the furnace a couple of years ago in a rental property I own, somewhat of an emergency install, replacement of a potentially dangerous furnace. Excellent job, very professional, fair price. This time, furnace started to malfunction, cycling off and on at strange times. Lamont responded immediately, discovered that the unit was fine, the filters had never been cleaned in two years! Cleaned it up, got it running and, as usual, was very honest in assessing what else needed to be done to insure that the furnace continued to function properly. Was able to do all he needed to do despite being harassed by 2 year old twins! Aside from the work that he has done, Lamont is just a great guy. He really takes pride in his work, and you can tell he cares about his clients.

They were on time, took out my old water heater, cleaned up, put in the new water heater, showed me how it works, and were on their way.

Lamont could not show because of incorrect office staff address to my house and was he (Lamont) was kind enough to send Javier who was closer to me. Javier arrived shortly and serviced my heating and A/C unit which I have done every two years by Allen Plumbing. Javier was also nice enough to put in new ceiling replacement filters which I had available when I asked him. We had some very nice conversation and was a joy to have in my home because of his expertise and demeanor and being a gentleman enough to spend some time when I asked him about a possible hot water heater replacement in the future and the cost. There are many Plumbing Companies in the Reno/Sparks area but all the A's in the review box speaks for itself and they are the best.

Performed work as expected, also provided valuable tips for troubleshooting water heater problems It took probably an hour's work; 20mins actual job, 40mins chatting just having a good time. I, very rarely, submit reviews, but I was compelled to do this one. Thanks Lamont !

Great - They cleaned it & left.

Mr. Allen and his crew removed our old oil furnace and installed a new gas furnace. The work was nicely planned in advance, went quickly, and is running smoothly. Lamont is always personable, very punctual, communicates well about what the work entails, how long it will take and what to expect in the house during that time. They are very careful about their work and tidy about floors and other grime getting out of the work area. We have used Allen Plumbing and Heating for years to service our oil furnace, and will continue to use them for future plumbing and heating projects.

Lamont and his team are very courteous, incredibly punctual (to the minute), they work clean and efficiently, and presented the product in a way that was very easy to understand. This was an expensive system, but I am very pleased with it, and would not hesitate to hire Lamont again. Lamont had everything that was needed on his truck , so there was no lost time to get parts. If only all repairmen would follow his model! I highly recommend this company.

Lamont gave an accurate estimate, showed up on time with a helper and installed the gas line for our fireplace. The line had to be pressure checked and inspected. He then returned after inspection and helped me troubleshoot why the fireplace was not burning high enough. It turned out that it was jetted for propane. Allen Plumbing is highly recommended.

The first time I called Lamont did not get back to me and I had to call again. Then he called me at 7 am! He was a bit rude saying "this is late for me." He did apologize. H ehad nothing available for 2 weeks. Finally, the day came but no one showed up. I called at 0810. Scheduled for 0730-0800. He apologized for the wrong communication and immedialtely dispatched a young man to come to my house, who arrived at 0845. This was a very pleasant young man, who got the job done. I was not happy before this man showed up. When he left I felt glad I had chose Allens plumming.

Arrived exactly when he said he would and the installation when smoothly and took only a few hours. He and his assistant were neat and clean in everything they did inside and outside the house. He took as much time as I needed to explain how to set the new digital thermostat. It's been almost two months since the installation. Everything worked as promised and I'm very pleased with my new air conditioning unit. I have used Allen in the past. He installed a new furnace ten years or so ago and also repaired the old water line from the street to he house. I've always been completely satisfied with the prices and quality of the work. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Called around 8:00 in the morning. Received a call back within 30 minutes where it was stated they happened to be in the area and would be by as soon as the present job was completed, estimated to be within the hour. Javier showed up approximately 30 minutes later to review and begin the work. Copper pipe was replaced with no additional problems encountered. Job was completed and everything is working as it should be. For sure - will be calling them in the future for my plumbing needs.

He did a good job. He was timely and he was quick. They gave us the best price, he explained everything and he was very good and he didn't try to sell us a new thing. I went up there and watched him do it and he explained the whole thing to me that needed cleaning and it was not something to worry about.

My experience with them is good. I am continuing to use them. He is prompt an he responds quickly. He does really good work.
