Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

It was easy. Our phone call was answered promptly, a basic estimate given,the rep arrived promptly, did his job pleasantly, cleaned up totally before leaving. A pleasant professional person. We will keep their card for future service. The rep was very professional, took time to be sure the furnace was working correctly, installed a slightly longer hose on the fawcet to be sure we had the length we needed (extra service he did because he knew what he was doing!). We felt the rep knew his business, and we will invite him back again next time we need service.

They did an excellent job. They were very reliable. When we called them, they came over when they said they would. They were very efficient.

Lamont Allen and his assistant arrived exactly on time. They did a very thorough inspection and service of both A/C and Heating units. Very efficient and knowledgeable and the whole experience was very good. We thought they did an excellent job and wer very impressed. I would definitely recommend Allen Plumbing and Heating for any their services in the future.

I would have expected that the person taking my call would inform me if a timely service was not possible. To wait with the call back to us until Monday morning was not acceptable.

Once Lamont found the problem he quoted me a price to remove old toilet and install a new toilet. I was comfortable with the estimate and felt it was the right thing to do. Lamont was very thorough. He seemed like he really cared about getting the situation taken care of . He suggested the new toilet be the tall design; easier to sit and get up from, if you have a bad back. Lamont made sure that we were happy with the install.

I first contacted this company after reading reviews on Angie's list. My central AC had stopped working and within 20minutes of calling the dispatcher, Lamont returned my call and was able to meet me at the house that afternoon. After a valiant attempt to salvage the existing unit by replacing the capacitor, then the motor (which had burnt up), we found that the compressor was also shot. He was able to get the unit running for the short term, but efficiently cooling the house was no longer doable with my aging system. Lamont provided me a couple of options and suggested even waiting till next season to replace (so never felt pressured to make a decision). After doing some research comparing units and cost, I decided to have him replace with a new 13 SEER system and coil. I am SO glad to have found this company! The install went perfectly and he and his partner couldn't have been more professional and courteous. The unit is so quiet you barely know its on, and efficiency is definitely improved! I am one happy customer and highly recommend this company :)

He is always punctual, and courteous, as well as doing the work very competently. He's careful about clean-up which I appreciate since it is an oil furnace and can be messy. We would definitely hire him again.

It took days but considering that a second company. was called in to do the trenching and digging it was completed in 4 days. Allen Plumbing did an excellent job laying the new piping and connecting up to our home, which was built in 1978. They had repaired the original water line just the week before when it blew again, only in a different spot. Considering that the original piping was getting old, it was decided to install all new pipes to remove further ruptures in the old line. The job was completed and we are very happy and will call them back for any plumbing, heating, water tank or air conditioning problems in the future.

As always. LaMont Allen takes care of business. On time, quality work and just an all around great guy. The trades need more people like LaMont Allen. He is reliable, honest and knows his trade(s).

I initially made an appointment for a Tuesday and Lamont called in the morning and said he needed to reschedule. We rescheduled for the same week on Friday and He showed up on time. After he did our service he surprised me by cutting his price by about 50% of what he quoted on the phone for the services provided. Lamont said that he lowered his price for missing his appointment on Tuesday (Very considerate, as he knew I took some time off that morning to be at home for our appointment!) I will use Lamont again!

A same day response to call for service for leak on top of hot water heater. Early next day Inspection of problem and return with parts same day to complete work. excellent and professional in every way.

I woke up to no water pressure in my home. Upon investigation I found a water leak in my side yard, water was bubbling up from the ground like an artisan well! I had the water company turn off the water at the street since there is no water cut-off valve at the house. It' was built in 1978. I called 2 companies on the list and both responded at approx. the same time. Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning showed up with 2 people and the other only had one. The pipe was underground and would require lots of digging so I went with Allen Plumbing, figuring that 2 guys would be faster than 1 guy. They were very professional and kept my posted throughout the job. They estimated between 4-6 hours and it took 5 hrs and 40 minutes. They had to dig a hole approx 4' long an 5' deep to reach the section of the underground pipe which burst. they also had to dig 4' sideways also. They repaired the pipe with a new coupled section and didn't charge for the time they went to get the needed parts. When they were done, I had water again and they put my side yard back like no one was ever there. They did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to ever call them back for any plumbing job I may need in the future.

Overall, the service I received from Allen Plumbing exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Allen Plumbing and will defiantly do business with them in the future. Thank you!

We called Allen Plumbing on a Thursday. Because these were not emergency issues, he said he could come to our home either late Friday or early Monday. He was not able to come on Friday (and unfortunately did not call to inform us) however he did come out early on Monday. The toilet was a pretty easy fix.....just a couple of parts & adjustments. The kitchen faucet, which we expected to cost us a fortune, was quickly and easily repaired and is operating like new! We don't know plumbing, so we expected the worst. We were very pleasantly surprised! It is very refreshing to get both quality work and good service with honest & fair pricing.

Very professional. Also had an apprentice along. Very kind.

We are doing a kitchen remodel...basically ourselves. We had Lamont come in to run a gas line so that I no longer have to use an electric stove. He bid the job on Thursday...we committed to his bid on Friday and the job is done by 10 AM , Monday morning.He was professional, efficient and a nice guy. Recently we have had some service men sent by out Homeowners warranty company with whom I was less than pleased...I would call him again in a heatbeat!

I called for an appointment and I was "fit" in later that afternoon! Very pleasant and knowledgeable person and was quick. Job was complete and my air was back on.

From beginning to end, Allen was highly professional. The person answering the phone was responsive and thorough and Lamont Allen called me back promptly. He appeared when scheduled, and with his colleague, they thoroughly inspected my A/C and identified a problem. He suggested a progressive approach to solving it, without jumping to the most expensive option first. Lamont also took time to thoroughly clean out our built-in gas grill, to make it funcitonal. Would highly recomend.
