First, he called back promptly and said he might be able to come by that same day to look at our air conditioning unit. He called later in the afternoon and said he was able to come over and showed up when he estimated he would. He inspected the A/C unit and was able to replace a bad capacitor part and recharge the coolant. Within the hour, our A/C system was back on line. He charged us $175 as he had estimated from his initial inspection. We were very pleased with his communication with us and promptness as well as the quality of the work and price. He was able to fix our A/C unit during a hot spell on the same day - even though he had a full schedule that day. You just can't get better service than that!

I called 3 different HVAC people and they were the only ones to call right back. It was really hot and all were quite busy. Lamont made it over in a couple hours, had a replacement motor in his truck and had it repaired and going in another hour. He was gone before the other contractors started calling back to say they would not be able to make it for a couple days. One of them never did call back. Would definitely use again.

They were very professional. I really like that they came and work. They came 7:30 in the morning when they said they would be there and they left at 9 at night. They worked straight through to make sure they got it done. They accidentally turned off the pilot light on my water heater but they came back on the 4th of July to turn it on. They offered to come out for free to turn it back but we told them to wait till the 5th. The owner came out to turn it on. I really like them. They were very good. I really like the fact that they tolerated my grandkids and they were very sweet to them. They cleaned up really well. They vacuumed everything.

Lamont was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the work to be undertaken. Prompt, courteous, professional. The worker who installed the furnace was hard-working, efficient, knew what he was doing. Lamont checked his work when he was finished, too. All work was done to our complete satisfaction, from the first date (2/7/13) to the last (3/4/13). They were not only good; they were fast, taking a total of 4 days for all work to be done perfectly. We absolutely will call them again for any plumbing, heating or air conditioning needs!

We used this provider when we lived in Reno. His service was outstanding. When my son's A/C broke down during the heat wave over July 4 holiday, I gave him Lamont Allen's name and number. He was there the same morning my son called and repaired it for a very reasonable cost. My son was very impressed. So on his behalf I am giving you this report. His comment was 'GREAT SERVICE' . So I would happily recommend this company.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a tradesman. DO NOT USE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We called Allen Plumbing Heating & AC on Monday, July 1st around 5:45pm, after their normal office hours were over, and left a message with the answering service. However, we promptly received a call back from Lamont. I described what our two units were doing, and he guessed what the issue might be based on the experience Allen P, H & AC already had with homes in our area. Lamont said he passed our street twice each day as he lived north of us, and could look at our units in the morning. He already had a couple call scheduled, but it would be sometime in the morning. This morning I was shocked to find Lamont at our door just after 8:00am! I was expecting him around noontime! He evaluated both of our units and determined the issue was with a control panel circuit board which truly was unnecessary. Lamont bypassed the two boards and then checked both systems for Freon and functionality. He discovered the relay/contacts on one of the units was going out, so he replaced the component. The other unit was fine. His pricing for servicing both units and replacing the contacts component was extremely reasonable, especially considering how quickly Allen P, H & AC responded to our need! We've had unusually high temperatures the past week, and it was great to finally have a cool house again! I relished how comfortable our home was today while it was 104 degrees on the back patio! Lamont's professionalism, knowledge and trustworthiness gave us confidence we had chosen the right company. He truly earned an A+++ from us today. Why did we wait so long?? Thank you Lamont and Allen Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning! And best of all, we have a company who will be servicing all of our HVAC and plumbing needs from now on.

Lamont Allen is a Master Journeyman Plumber with years of experience and a plethora of knowledge. He has 1 helper and the helper will be finishing his Journeyman certifications this summer. We discussed the problems I was having with the hot water side of my house water and he inspected the system and agreed that it was in the water heater which was 17 years old. His suggestions on improving the system and the quality of his work surpassed even my high standards. After his inspection and discussions his clear estimate of services to be performed and the costs was dead on. It was truly refreshing to deal with an open HONEST contractor who lived up to my expectations. I will use him in the near future to install a whole house sediment filtration system and also will call him for any HVAC work that I need done. I cannot say enough good about my experience with Allen Plumbing.

They did a great job. They showed up on time, had all the necessary parts, and finished the job quickly.

Lamont came out on very short-notice and squeezed us in his schedule to fix our A/C. This was a blessing as we have newborn twins and the temps outside were cresting the 100s - he did not know this so I have to assume all his customers get the same prompt and courteous service. He called 20 minutes prior to arriving just to let us know he was on his way. He had the problem diagnosed within minutes and had the parts on his truck. Our AC was back up in no time. Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is a class act business and is clearly focused on customer service and building customers for life. I would recommend their services to anyone.

He was terrific. He was very good. He did an excellent job, he was always there when I needed him and he finished on time. I was very happy with him.

The entire process, from first phone call to them, to completion of work, went perfectly. Lamont arrived at the scheduled time to assess the problem. The next day they gave us a quote, and the price was reasonable (we did get a second opinion - the other company also said it was not repairable - and they also gave us a quote that was almost exactly the same as Allen's.) We chose Allen because we liked Lamont's professionalism, and we were not disappointed! They scheduled us for the following week, showed up on time and finished on schedule, and left the place clean and neat. The heater and AC work perfectly. Can't ask for more than that!

Allen Plumbing showed up on time, performed the work quickly, and at a reasonable price. If I had used my previous provider, I would have expected to pay more. I recommend Allen Plumbing.

No complaints, none whatsoever. Had furnace go out, in 20F weather, they arrived, and had us toasty in an hour. Kudos to them. Keep these folks on your speedial, always.

Javier was knowledgeable and pleasant. He did the work neatly and cleanly, then showed me the replaced parts and answered my questions about them. I appreciated the time he took to explain things and chat with me. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Mr. Allen was courteous and professional. The reason I gave him a B on puntuality instead of an A is because his earlier job took longer than he anticipated. However, he did call us to let us know he was running late. I don't want to fault him for finishing the previous job--I would want him to do the same for me. I would definitely use him again.

Lamont and his team are easy to work with, quick to respond, professional, and friendly. It is great to finally have a plumber I can rely on and recommend to friends.
