Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

It took 3 messages for Lamont to respond to my initial call for assistance. When he arrived for the 1st appt. to survey for an estimate he was on time, thorough and seemed knowledgeable. He promised to call the following Monday with the estimate and set a date for repairs. Eight days later I called him - he apologized, then provided a reasonable estimate and said he would be there to do the work the following Monday or Tuesday. Again a no-show and no call. Why should we have to chase him? You would think being highly rated on Angie's List would be an incentive to go above and beyond for continued referrals. He may be a good plumber but he doesn't appear to be someone to count on.

Contacted on a Friday to have heater repairs conducted on a rental unit in Sparks NV, received call on Saturday and repairs completed on Monday. The contractor found no issues with the unit other than needed a through cleaning and only charged for those services. Very professional.

Again, once we got the unit in hand (and by the way they helped with selection suggestions--to the point where we picked out a suggested unit that we were not aware of), the installation was completed in one day, very professional, I am 110% satisfied with the work and will deal with no other in the future. Great job. You may have to wait a bit to get the job scheduled, but it is indeed worth the wait.--Chuck S.

Lamont was punctual and had all the necessary tools. He was kind and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He made a recommendation about the faucet I am thinking of getting in the future. We will use Allen Plumbing for all future plumbing needs.

Lamont Allen's long-time employee, Javier, arrived on time and with a great attitude. He removed his shoes at the door and went into the attic where our HVAC system is located to thoroughly check our heating system including the vents, hoses, connections, etc. He explained what he was doing throughout the checkup and gave us recommendations for future checkups. He found a minor problem that was easily fixed (the problem was minor now, but would have completely frozen our heating system if left unrepaired). Javier was professional and courteous - we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. We will be using Allen Plumbing, Heating, and Air for all our future HVAC needs, and since we have not yet found a good plumber, we will try them the first time we have a plumbing isse as well. Lamont also offers a military discount - thank you for your patriotism!

Mr. Allen showed up and we discussed what was happening -hot water burner and pilot would go out after about 3 times of firing up if it was in a short amount of time (a few hours). We discussed possibilities and solutions. He replaced the thermocoupler and told me what to do if that didn't seem to fix the problem. He graciously put up with my many phone calls before he arrived on a very snowy, bad road day. I will definitely follow up on his suggestions if the problem continues and call him again.

Lamont and Javier know their stuff. They are very friendly, professional and informative. They are reliable and prompt. Javier worked cheerfully nonstop for hours, and he was very careful to clean up any debris after he was done working. For such a labor intensive job, everything went very smoothly. Lamont coordinated dates and times with the city and NV Energy, to ensure that the inspections were done quickly so that I wouldn't be without heat for very long. My new heater and air conditioner work beautifully, and I am very pleased with the work that was done. It is a major relief to find such honest, reliable workers. You can't go wrong if you choose these guys!

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, we called Mr. Allen in the afternoon because the furnace in a rental house would not turn on. He was able to go over there that afternoon and diagnose and fix the problem. The tenants have a 23 day old baby, so they and we are very grateful for the prompt response and the quick resolution of the problem!

Lamont Allen is without question the most personable and professional tradesman I have ever dealt with. His suggestion for the correct tankless water heater for my home was perfect. Lamont and his associate did a professional and clean install of the unit plus return water lines. I had a Bosch tankless water heater which had been installed 3 years ago and was so dissatisfied that I was ready to return to a tank water heater. Lamont's counsel and professional approach to the problem raised my comfort zone and I am extremely pleased with his work. Will certainly call on Allen Plumbing in the future.

This is the second time I've used Allen Plumbing. Mr. Sandoval has been the plumber both times. Got here on time, did the job and was on his way! I should have had him install the kitchen faucet the last time he was out (to replace the cut-off valves under the sink) but thought I could do it myself. The soap dispenser nut had rusted and there is no way I could have done it. It is a relief to know of a business that I can depend on to do the job right. I will definitely call them again.

To begin with, we were grateful when the company offered to work us into their schedule so we wouldn't be left unable to use our kitchen sink or dishwasher any longer than necessary. Then the owner, Lamont, called so we could agree to a time; and he arrived promptly and was very courteous. He then confirmed our expectation that we needed a new garbage disposer, and offered to install one from his truck. He then swapped the disposers, cleaned up and was done is less than an hour. In short, we were/are very satisfied - and intend to use or refer his company as needed in the future.

We called for the estimate he came right out the next day. He was very nice, punctual, and professional I would definitely recommend him to others.

They were very professional and, even though they said they were very busy, they managed to squeeze us in to their schedule and get the work done in a timely manner. We called them right at the start of heater season,but they sent somebody over to get our stuff installed. Everything turned out great, so far, and the service man was very professional and friendly.

Called twice to get a response. He called back the second time, but we were on a long distance call, so he said he'd call back in 15 minuted. Never called......haven't heard from him since.

Since using Allen Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning for my furnace replacement. I chose them to replace my a/c compressor. And yesterday my 22 year old water heater finally started to leak and I was able to catch it before leaked very much. I called Lamont and he responded as soon as he could with a updated energy efficient water heater and got me going within a couple of hours. I feel I have the company I will use for any of my future Plumbing, Heating, A/C needs . His price was reasonable and adding installation and his consistency with being professional with every part of the transaction put me in a very comfortable position of trust and knowing The job was going to be done right the first time. Allen has done right by me 3 for 3 times that I have needed him.

I would highly recommend Allen Plumbing, Heating, and A/C for your next repair. Lamont knows the true meaning of customer service.

I called Allen Plumbing to replace a hot water heater in my condo. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. She said she would text my request because everyone was out on a call and that they would get back to me. No one ever called back , so I give them an F rating.

We have a one year old KB home in South Reno that we've had a lot of issues with, one of them being the AC. We are constantly reassured by the vendor who did the initial installation that all is OK. We called Allen Plumbing Heating & Air in for a 2nd opinion. Lamont was prompt, responsive and on time. He gave us recommendations on what should be done in order to correct the problems we are having and we will most likely follow those recommendations (and use him to do it).

Responded to the call promptly and fixed the problem. Cost was reasonable.

Excellent, I could not wish for a better service. Mr. Allen and his associate were very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, clean, responsive and respectful. They did an excellent job and even provided me with some information about my heaters, possible improvements, efficiency of several heating systems. They worked fast and well. they were also very nice and respectful, I would recommend Allen Plumbing to anyone with no hesitation whatever. I also will use their services any time I need help with plumbing, heating or air. They are the best!

I called ALLEN in the morning to try & schedule an appointment to look at my air conditioner. He called me back a couple of hours later. My work schedule made it difficult to schedule an appointment but he said he could inspect the unit if I could give him access to my garage which I did, He called me back a short time later to tel let me know that he had fixed the problem. We were in the middle of a heat wave so I really appreciated the fact that he was able to fit me into his busy schedule & that I didint have to take time off from work. I was very impressed with his service and professionalism & will use him again,
