LANGE PLUMBING

I was not happy. It was not a good experience and because of it I am going to revert back to finding companies by word of mouth.

Brian arrived on time, a very pleasant person. I showed him the dripping shower faucet and the dripping sink faucet. I also explained that my 60-yr old son had tried to turn off the sink's turnoff valve but it needed replacing or repair. I also spent time asking him about where he thought a leak came from (unknown location) that had dampened the stucco in several places outside the house, obviously where the shower was. After some discussion, he went to work on repairing the faucets. The shower faucet was extremely difficult for him to remove because of the age of the house, (1961). He took apart the sink faucets and fixed the leak without having to replace any faucets; also fixed or replaced the shut off valve under the sink. After he ascertained his repair fixed the leaks, he further stated that the tiles on the floor of the shower had grout missing, which he felt was part of the problem with the water showing up on the outside stucco and also the inside dry wall, which was rotting away. He suggested not using the shower, letting the stucco dry up, redoing the grout, waiting a week before using the shower.and them checking for any dampness outside. He felt there would be nothing more showing up through any of the walls, inside or out. When I set up the appointment, I had expected a large bill, but was amazed the charge was only $132, including parts. I had mentioned my Angie's List membership and he didn't need to see any proof. The cost would have been $147.75. I wanted to make a copy of the white page of the bill (the yellow fades in time) and he was happy to let me do so. On the bill, he noted clearly, "No warranty due to age/condition, which was fine with me. Also listed clearly that he spent 1.5 hrs on this call. I definitely will call them again. I asked if his company installed bathtub safety bars. He said not usually but he did have some very long ones in the truck, which I didn't want. (This can be done later with shorter bars). Brian gave good advice and I never felt I was asking silly questions or wasting a bit of his time with non-at-the-moment repairs.

Excellent service! I called about a part number and they researched to see if it was available. The gentleman that did the work called again to confirm the part before he came over. My husband had been mistaken on the part number but luckily he had brought the "wrong" part which turned out to be the right part. It was fixed in minutes.

I'm new to Vegas, and needed some plumbing work done in my place ASAP. Brian from Lange came out and got right to work. He did a great job--he's quick, efficient, and didn't leave a mess behind, as some plumbers I've used in the past have done. My new place needs a lot of work, and I know that more plumbing issues are in store for me down the line. I'll definitely call Lange again. The price was reasonable, and the work excellent.

At 5:15 PM I noticed that the pool fill valve at the outside hose bib was leaking. When I went to try and shut it off, the whole thing ruptured and water was everywhere! I was soaking wet from the fountain of water and ran into the house to call a plumber from Angies List. To my surprise, two of the top performers didn't answer their phone. Lange Plumbing answered their phone right away and the lovely girl who answered the phone told me she would dispatch someone soon. Wow! I was thrilled to know that someone out there really cares. I was thinking that at 7:00 PM at night, this was going to cost me a fortune. Lee, the plumber from Lange Plumbing, came out to the house, took care of the problem within short order and gave me the bill for $131.00. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with this company and their professional and timely service! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Kudos for a job well done!

The plumber was on time, efficient and reasonably priced.

I shut the main off and called Lange due to their excellent reviews. The answering service answered and said someone would call shortly. Had a return call from Brian within 15 minutes, told him my problem and since he was not busy at that moment was at my house within 20 minutes. He was calm, neat and professional. Fixed the leak and also installed a new cartridge in the shower handle. The price seemed fair in today's market and especially when it is so hard to hire someone you don't know (I have had poor workers and paid too much in the past). I will be happy to use Lange Plumbing again and reccommend them to others. Did receive the Angie's List discount on labor.

Overall the experience was a positive one.

We called - scheduled service for the next day (we would not be available to have the service on the day of the call) - he came timely and performed timely.

Called Lange because of their high rating on Angie's List and wasn't disappointed! I had a clogged kitchen sink and Kip was here within 2 hours of my initial call. He was personable, knowledgable & professional - and, importantly, cleaned up after he was through. Will absolutely call Lange again.

Did the work the same day I called, within in a few hours of my request, Brain was very professional and personable and he took the time to not only fix the problem but also waited to make sure the repair was completely fixed before leaving. I couldn't ask for better service. This is the first time I used Lange plumbing, but my mother-in-law has used them twice and I will use them again any time I need plumbing services.

Without a doubt, I will use LANGE PLUMBING for any of my needs. When I called for the appointment, I was told all the details as to the cost and the day of the work I was called to say the worker was on his way. I found this company by going through ANGIE'S LIST ( as I am a member) and was able to read the reviews of this company and others. I made the decision to go with LANGE PLUMBING and I have been more then satisfied. This was not a major job but I did see the worker to be well trained and he was very clean with the exchange of the disposal. Thank you, ANGIE'S for the opportunity for everyday citizens to find needed services.

The Lange employee arrived and went right to work replacing new materials. He also repaired a leak under sink. He cleaned up after he was done. He was very pleasant & professional. We will be calling Lang Plumbing for all of our future repairs and projects.

I called Lange plumbing and was scheduled for a service call the next afternoon. Ed called me at 9am and reported that their serviceman Geoff could come earlier. Geoff was on time and extremely courteous. Geoff inspected the pipes in the garage celling and did not visualize a leak and determined the leak was coming from the tub fitting. Geoff removed cleaned and resealed the fitting. He then took apart the shower control and cleaned it so the cold water would work again. Next, Geoff proceeded to install a toilet tank system that I had purchased and was unable to install myself along with a new lever. Geoff completed all the work in two hours and I was only charged for labor at $98/hr. I was pleased with the price and especially happy that everyone I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. Geoff also recommended a company that has a large selection of fixtures as I wish to replace two sinks and a shower system and he gave me a reasonable estimate for labor to install those items. I will definately be calling Lange again!! Thank you Geoff for all your help!!!!

great experience. Lange plumbing realized that I had an emergency and sent workman out immediately and took care of the problem the morning I called. Workman were professional and the charge was exactly what I was quoted. The service was excellent and the fact that they came out the morning I called becuase the septic tank backup was making using the plumbing impossible was beyond what I had hoped for. Will definetly use them again

One of the commode in my daughter's house kept plugging up. She had just moved into a rental property that week, but her landlord refused to fix it, laying the blame on my daughter. Totally unfounded, as we later proved. I called Lange Plumbing when I found them on Angie's list. I explained the situation to them, and the fact that we had an 8-week-old infant in the home. My daughter had her hands full with the baby, and she certainly didn't need any stress. Lange had someone at our house within a half-hour! The plumber, whose name was Kip, was extremely polite, very concerned, very efficient and effective. He fixed the problem and the commode has worked perfectly ever since. Not only that, he gave us a 10% discount because of Angie's List! He was so sweet and caring, we hated to see him leave. The next time I have a problem, you can be sure I will call Lange Plumbing in a New-York-minute! Loretta

called after 5pm, answering service took details. Manager (Ed) called first thing the next morning, and the plumber (brian) arrived at 1PM. He fixed the problem quickly and was very personable.

My annual sewer blockage of tree roots from the neighbors trees. No sewage drain to street. Water was backing up into house sinks and drains. Called Lange Plumbing and service man was here within a very short period of time. Snaked the main line and removed a large bundle of roots. Took a while but he was very professional. He did not leave a mess. He was more professional than people of other rooter services I have used in the past.

Called got same day appointment, had cancellation and was able to come earlier. Replaced PVB valve for irrigation system. New installation was leaking. Called and said would return the next day. Did not return until second day. Leak came from cross threading new valve on to plastic stub. Technician tried to pass this off as a defective pipe rather than admit he crossthreaded it.

Company called on Monday and we scheculed the service call for tuesday morming. Service man called before arriving on time. He looked over the problem and discovered another problem than the one I thought I wanted repaired. He asked permission to fix it and I agreed. He then pointed out how to repair the original problem I had called about and suggested I look on Angies List for a repairman. He was extremely nice and professional. Completed the repair in about 30 minutes. I would trust him in my home if I was not there. I would recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs.

Our water pressure was low and we suspected it was because our old water softener had stopped working. We also had 3 leaky faucets. I called Lange and they sent someone right away. The repairman was courteous and professional. The water softener had no bypass valve so he unhooked it and fashioned a bypass with flexible copper hosing. That solved the water pressure problem right away and confirmed that the water softener was the culprit. I asked about getting it fixed but he said that it probably wasn't worth it because of the age of the system. While he offered to give me the name of someone who could replace our system, he also said we could probably pick up a water softener ourselves for a reasonable price. I appreciated his candor. He also fixed our 3 leaky Delta faucets, although he had to get the correct parts and come back the next day. Not only did he fix them, he showed me how to fix them in the future and gave me the part numbers. Again, I really appreciated this and it makes me even more likely to use the company in the future for work beyond my abilities. Overall I would highly recommend this company. The price seemed a little high for the work involved (this included a 10% discount for labor) but then again, plumbers are just expensive in general. I gave a "B" rather than an "A" for punctuality because the repairman told me he would be back around 11 a.m. or noon the next day after he finished another job, but by 1 p.m. I had not seen him. I called the company and they promptly called back and said he was just finishing up his other job and would be by shortly, which he was. I understand things can take longer than anticipated but I would have appreciated a phone call. Nevertheless, I really liked the repairman and highly recommend Lange. I will definitely use them again.

Kip phoned and said he was on the way and would arrive in 30 minutes. He was on time and started to work immediately. He was very personable and described what he was doing and why. He replaced the crimped tubing and got the dishwasher installed perfectly. He also removed the old one and I was very happy with the service. I will definitely call and recommend Lange Plumbing in the future.

i found the company flexible when i had to postpone at the last minute. I had received two other quotes that ranged from $500-$750 (I laughed at them). At $265 the price was at or below the cost to have a Home depot or Lowe's do the install.There was no attempt to add on any parts or extras to increase the cost. The installation was quick and thorough. Darrel was very professional. I will use them again for my next plumbing project.

They arrived on time but determined that our product was older and required a different repair kit than the technician had with him. He returned the following day with appropriate gear - repaired a badly leaking shower faucet, in place, changed out the control knob and cleaned up carefully. Cheerful, well spoken, technically adept. Not cheap but quality work.
