Responsive to call; arrived per schedule calling enroute. Excellent review of system in a "new to us" home.

It was in the 90's outside and my central ac was not working. I called Wrich Air and set up an appointment for 9 am the next day. Dave showed up right on time and was able to diagnose and fix a wiring problem up in the attic. From start to finish it took about 20 minutes. Dave was very professional and knowledgeable, which is not surprising since he is the owner of the business. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need and I really appreciate that. Yet another reason I liked him is he treats his employees well also. He was very friendly, even going so far as to say hi to my dog and talk to my son about college. Even though it was a Sunday when he came out and it was Mother's Day to boot, he only charged $58.00 to come out and fix the problem. I found out that they offer inexpensive maintenance services for your heating and ac system as well. Now my ac is up and running better than ever just in time for the coming summer months. I am so glad I found Wrich Air on Angie's list and I will definitely be calling him for any future needs. Thank you Dave!

The tech was prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. The only reason I did not go with them was the price. They were more expensive than three other quotes.

Our air conditioning stopped working on Sunday morning. I decided to call on Sunday evening to leave a message requesting service, expecting to receive a call back on Monday morning. Instead, Jeff called me back within 15 minutes and scheduled an appointment for between 8 and 9 Monday AM. He arrived promptly at 8:30, quickly diagnosed the problem (needed a replacement outdoor fan motor), and gave me an estimate. He had the part in the truck, and within an hour, the system was working great again. He also checked the entire outdoor unit and gave us a detailed report on the status. Price paid was exactly as quoted. We will call this company for any heating or cooling needs in the future, as well as recommend them. Very professional!

Great! They showed up approximately on-time, when I tried, but could not get others to show. The serviceman was very professional, answering all of my questions and explaining what he was doing and why. He showed me some techniques to determine whether or not we need to call for service in the future. I will definintely use them again!

Everything was good with them. The work cost me $900. I have two AC and heating units in my house and each one was missing something. He took a working part from one and put it over in the other one so that one unit was working rather than having two that were missing different pieces. He came by a few days later to fix the other unit. I thought they were great. The only thing was they could not give me an estimate. When I asked them for a ballpark figure, they told me $900, which is what they charged me in the end. I am not sure if worked out to my benefit. I would use them again in the future.

I called Mon. and left a message asking for service. Dave got back to me the following morning at 8:30. As it turned out he had his guy (Mike I think) out in the field and he didn't have a job lined up til later in the morning, so he sent Mike out at 9:30. Mike got here promptly at 9:30 clean, neat and organized. I showed him where the A/C units are and he got to work. He came back in and said that they check out okay. Then he went out and got a ladder to get into the attic where my furnaces are located in a two story house. ( I thought I had 1 furnace, but I have 2, news to me). He got to checking out the furnances and was finished in about a hour total. I liked the fact that on the invoice detailed exactly what was checked and some details like 60/180ps freon level - which is good by the way. He also noted that the safety rod ignition controls, burners and flame sensors were working properly on the furnances. All in all Mike was great, alittle on the shy side but he knows his business. When I mentioned that this was the first time that I've had the units checked, he said that the timing is about right. In the first 4 years or so I guess the units should be alright, but get beyond that and you should have them checked to prevent any future problems.

I called Dave for an estimate on a new system as my old one was very loud and sounded like it was struggling to maintain the cooling. He came out as promised and gave me several options which included putting a "jacket" on the compressor to quiet the noise before going to the expense of installing a new unit. No pressure or hype from Dave and when pressed to his professional opinion, he indicated that it might be beneficial to replace the unit now rather than wait until it fails during the summer months. He did not push or use any sales tactics; he stated the facts, explained the workings and left the decision totally up to me. I decided to replace the unit and asked if it was possible to relocate it to the side of the house, although other companies told me it was very expensive to do so and not feasible. Dave said it would not be that expensive and that it could easily be relocated. He scheduled an installation date a few days later and was here promptly. Installation took several hours as he had explained, and upon completion, the A/C ran beautifully, so quiet you had to listen for it. I couldn't be more pleased and the project came in under what he had estimated originally. Very professional job, very well mannered and respectful staff. I will use his services again, no doubt in my mind. I have already recommended him to friends and neighbors.

Our furnace was not turning on. Called a local business and was told the control board was not working and would cost betweem $800 - $1000 to fix. They suggested we just bite the bullet and purchase a new furnace (for $5,000.00) since ours was old and would probably not last much longer. They next morning I called Wrich Air for a second opinion and was able to have someone come out the same day. They gave me a 2 hr. window and were actually 15 min. early. After looking at the furnace they also said the control board was faulty but could get us another one and have it installed within a few hours. Their estimate was about $450.00. The serviceman left and came back with the new board in about an hour and had it installed and the furnace working within 3 hrs. (He said our furnace, while 15 yrs. old, was in great shape and should last another 15 yrs.)He also inspected and cleaned our upstairs A/C unit for an additional $50.00. He was very professional and honest. He even wore paper booties over his shoes so as to not dirty our carpet. OUr furnance is working great - we have had no additional problems. I have recommended this company to my family and friends and will use them again.

I first contacted Dave during the summer. He sent out a repairman who disabled the emergency heat setting. That didn't work, so he sent out a second repairman. We were not charged for the return visit. I contacted him again in October, beginning the search for a unit that fit our needs. He explained the type of work he would have to do for a unit with a higher SEER rating. We agreed on a unit, and he sent out his repairmen. They did the work in a timely, courteous manner. They captured the Freon and sent the old unit to recycling. Dave came by to check on their work. We were pleased with the work, and the new unit is everything we had hoped for.

I recently had a service company come out to perform a routine maintenance on my air condition and was told that the AC was covered in pigeon feathers and droppings and was unable to be repaired and that I will eventually need another one. Skeptical of this, I called Wrich Air after receiving his referral from a friend. He was honest, timely and was able to quickly tell me that there was nothing wrong with my AC and the feathers they had found must have been placed there by the original company. He also performed a service check and answered any questions I had quickly and precisely. It is very nice to know that there are people out there that you can still count on. Thanks, Dave!!
