Since I only needed the track sprayed, I should have waited until I needed new rollers or balls whatever you call them. I should have cancelled the trip and sprayed them myself; but he was here so I let him spray. I did refer them to my neighbor. He also is having his windows clean, re my referral. Jimmy Geiser

Had some initial issues with the scope of work not being communicated to the techs that came out (having remotes programmed to open the gate to the community), but Kevin came over and took care of the outstanding issues. I sincerely appreciate the extra effort to insure my satisfaction and so I would recommend this service to anyone.

I apologize for not being able to arrive promptly to your first appointment. Unfortunately in the service industry, we cannot always accurately predict how long calls will take. We do our best to arrive to each and every customer on time. As for the gate remote, if the community has their own lock on the operator, we have no way of getting to the receiver. This is very rare and therefore not something we can plan for. I will contact you via phone to see if we can get something worked out to get you a gate remote.

I received an e-mail from Kevin at Western Gate & Door concerning the comment I made about securing the single garage door. He offered to install a locking device at no charge, I called him and scheduled the job. Elgin arrived early and completed the job in minutes. The installation now looks complete and very professional. Thanks to Kevin, Elgin and the entire Western Door crew that really pays attention to customer service and makes every effort to ensure each job is completed to the customers satisfaction. UPDATE 19 Jan 2016, Since installation of our new doors I had called Kevin concerning needing minor adjustments. On both occasions he responded quickly and the technicians made the requested fixes. No issues since. The doors operate normally. I had also received a bill for the first adjustment and the young lady at the office quickly resolved the issue. Two weeks ago one of our springs broke and they responded quickly to get us back in business again. Reasonable price for two springs with a lifetime warranty. Dallas finished the job quickly and in a professional manner.
Description of Work: Chose Western Door and Gate after reviewing Angies list. Arranged for an estimate and Elgin arrived on time and ascessed both doors and a broken RV gate attach point. We received a written estimate via e-mail. I called Kevin and arranged for installation. The color doors we requested was out of stock and would be in a couple of weeks...but they were able to get them added to an existing order. Good effort. | |The day of installation (21 Apr) they were running late. We were scheduled for an 0800-1000 show time. We were called by Justin (installer) saying he would be here b/t 1200-1400 - - He got here at 1345. One guy! I was surprised. I'm guessing one of the other installers called in sick. | |Justin did a great job installing the doors and also explained that he is a welder and mainly works in the 'Gate dept.'. The insulated doors (Amarr) with the opitional Teflon rollers operate smooth and quietly not to mention they look super. Total price was around $1700 for the insulated doors, Teflon rollers and installation. No tracks, springs etc. Kevin applied the Angie's List discount which saved up $250. Very nice | |I had two doors installed; one double car and one single car. The double car is secure with the garage door opener. However the single car door does not come with any type of latching system. I was surprised that we weren't told about that. Justin recommended that I install a "C" clamp above a roller on the track which is what I did. |It just seems a bit tacky after such a nice looking installation that there is a "C" clamp securing the door. | |It's all good. The office staff was very helpful and Justin the installer did a super job working alone. I would highly recommend Western Door and Gate. | |We are currently debating whether to repair the old gate or replace it....more to follow.

everything went well, the only issue was the rollers came out of their track, we were able to grt them back in but it still sounds like it could come off track, they were very nice and professional.

The transaction went smoothly. 2 techs showed up on time and prepared for the job. The entire job took less than an hour and they cleaned up well. The only miss was I asked for a repeater to program my builtin auto remote. The handed me the devices but I can not get it to work...so just using one of the remotes in the car.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced my old, fatigued opener, wired control box and provided 2 new remotes. Also replaced the 12 roller wheels and installed 2 new safety eyes, which I did not have before. The new opener was much more quiet and efficient.

We have used Western Door and Gate twice in the past year. The last was for a garage door tune up. I called and explained that one of the roller pins was coming out of its hole. Technician advised that the rail was bent and repaired it at no charge. Western Door and Gate is my "go to" company for ANY service that they provide. They are honest, reputable and know what they are doing! Great Job!!!

I went with them because they offered a belt opener, not a chain one - so much quieter. Quick, efficient, prompt, friendly, and explained everything. Very nice guys, very easy to work with and answered all our questions. We were very pleased with them.
Description of Work: They replaced my garage door with a Liftmaster insulated door, put in a new belt, linked it with my car, and linked it to MyQ, the app that lets me open the door and check if it's closed.

The install team arrived on time and went right to work. They really know their stuff ! I was amazed at how fast the work was completed. The new door opener is very quiet, almost can not hear it. The guys were friendly and helpful. One item is worth mentioning... The Liftmaster 8550 is a great opener, but it is not compatible with car Homelink buttons before model year 2013. So the solution is to install a repeater that converts the older homelink signals to the new, more secure My-Q signals. They will provide the repeater. I highly suggest this company. They gave me the exact price over the phone and did exactly what I needed quickly.

I was able to schedule the same day as I called. The tech was punctual, professional and friendly. He did what was agreed upon and didn't try to sneak in any other services or charges. He explained what he was doing as he went along and completed his work promptly. The door works so much more smoothly and quietly now!

I booked this big deal yesterday, arranged an appointment for this morning and everything was done fast and with high quality. I was quite impressed that they allowed me to just pay a small cost adder to change the wheels as well although they could have charged me more. I have another property that needs some work on that garage door, I will hire them for sure.

My garage door was opening very violently. It would jerk and make such a racket that I thought it was going to come right off its hinges. I went through Angies List. and purchased a service call at a very reasonable price from Western Door. They contacted me right away and gave me a date and time for 2 days later. None of this "we don't have openings for 2-3 weeks!" business. Mike and Elgin had called ahead of time to tell me they were coming and arrived right on time. They did their thing explaining to me (I'm very ignorant in this matters) the mechanics of my particular door. They lubricated and adjusted the thing and now my door opens so much smoother! And on top of it all, these 2 gentlemen were very pleasant and nice. I will definitely use them again.

My garage spring snapped on me one evening after coming home and I was stuck with my car in the garage and very much needing it for work and errands the next day. They were exceedingly prompt and came out the morning I called, and the service tech was super nice as well as being very competent and knowledgeable. Had the whole thing fixed and back good as new in less than an hour. I only wish that more companies were this good! Definite A+ on all accounts and major props to the company. Highly recommended.

The gentleman (can't remember his name) was very professional and timely with his service. He called to inform me that he was on his way (on-time) and that he could be there a little earlier if I could accommodate the time. We had put insulation on our garage door without having anyone come and adjust the tension of the opener and our door was not shutting when the sun was shining on it. It turns out our sensors were misaligned. They were courteous and arrived on time after calling us to let us know they were coming.There was no "trying to sell us extra stuff of services" which we appreciated. They will be called next time when we need garage door or opener assistance.
