Western Door and Gate Company

Not good. While most reputable companies come out for a free estimate, this company stated in order for them to come out there would be a $95.00 charge. They stated that they might waive it if you chose them as the vendor. I cancelled the call at that point. Angie's List members need to know this before they contact them.

They said they'd be out the afternoon of 10/12 or 10/13 to give an estimate. Never showed either day. No courtesy call.

Spoke to Kevin he never even came out to measure, asked me to, when I asked him about options he directed me to a website, after all that, I was still going to order but he didn't even return my call. It must be nice to have so much business you can just ignore a sure sale, Kevin.

Wow; this company was responsive, polite and very professional. They found the easy fix and were very reasonable. Since I have three garage doors, Im keeping their number handy. I will use them again!

It was difficult to get a hold of them. They were moving from one location to another. The locks, with change of seasons, is hard to lock. It takes some working with to accomplish.

Called Thursday, came early Friday morning as scheduled. Two service techs. came, very professional and did the job very quickly and professionally. Gate needed some additional work to get latch and spring added. I was quoted $95 for labor (parts I purchased) , I received a discount with coupon and the total was $85. Even without coupon the rate was reasonable for excellent work.

Very well. It took longer than expected because the hardware on my old wooden doors was frozen with rust and paint. The technician worked very hard and I was impressed.

Things went well. After placing the order I realized the garage door spring had broken. When the repairman came he quoted me a price for replacing the spring. Nothing pushy, very respectful.

Work was completed quickly and professionally. Good Job!!

The install went well, the tech (I can't remember his name--nice kid) was on time and even though I had multiple people from other companies in and out of the garage working while he was there, he got the job done quickly and efficiently. The only problem was that I forgot to mention that I was an Angie's List member and didn't get my 15% discount. Live and learn, I guess. Other than that, I am thrilled with the install!

They came up and we ordered the garage door. Then the company came up when the door arrived and put it in. The service went well. No complaints.

Very nice work, quick and thorough. Made sure I was pleased with the job before he left. The Liftmaster opener I got is more than adequate for the door it is opening. I got that as a special on Angies list and it is working out great.

Bought the quick purchase evaluation for $65.00 on line. put in requested times. Did not hear from them, so called. Scheduled appointment with receptionist then got a call from "kevin" to schedule appointment no show on appointment time called to find out what happened and spent 5 minutes on hold waiting for "kevin" who was in the garage unloading something and then was unable to come to phone. Receptionist came back on and wanted to have him call me - i just asked her to cancel. One hand does not seem to know what the other is doing.

Did not supply estimate as requested.

Showed up within the window of time given, diagnosed the problem quickly and got to work. Told me it would be about half an hour. Turned out to be a bit longer, but he paid attention to all the details and made sure the door was working correctly. Definitely quick and painless for something that caused such inconvenience to us for a few days.

Professional and courteous service.

When he got there he diagnosed the problem quickly and he fixed it quickly. The only issue is I wish he would have communicated the appointment time a lot better because it was not presented as a window of time it was a definite appointment time.

Kevin called and gave me a 30 minute window when he was on his way. He arrived on time and he was very nice and awesome. Door needed new rollers. He changed them out and Checked everything else. My door is very quiet now. Thank you.

Kevin was very pleasant and professional and completed the service on the garage door in a timely fashion. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Western Door and Gate and would highly recommend this company.

This went off without a hitch. I purchased the deal from Angie's List on Wednesday and Western Door and Gate was able to show up early on Thursday, which was perfect because my garage door was completely dead. We received a phone call 30 minutes before they were to show up just to confirm. Kevin did an excellent job and was completely done in about one hour. Amazing and very happy to find such quality work in Las Vegas!

Elgin quickly determined our needs, and went right to work solving them. While I searched for a new battery for the key pad, he voluntarily checked and lubricated all the door's rollers. He accurately assessed the age of the Lift Master garage door opener motor, and agreed that it was in fine working condition, not needed a replacement. He quickly allowed me to reset the key pad to a new code, and linked a new Lift Master remote control. Tested both controls, and efficiently processed our payment. Professional service in every way. They did a fantastic job. It took them literally 20 minutes. They did small adjustments here and there, and we haven't had problems with the garage door since.
