A couple of days ago he called me to tell me he could not clean my pool anymore because he needed to save gas. He left me high and dry. I would appreciated him meeting me face to face to talk with me about the situation, rather than just calling and leaving a message. It was a very poor business tactic.

Communication is the key to good service and these people listen and aim to please.

Overall, I'm happy with the service. I've only had them for about a month now, but they keep the pool clean. They get here on time. I have no complaints.

The services are great and they are very reasonably priced. Everything is included, including the filter cleaning which is normally extra with any other pool cleaning company. We have a very large pool and that should normally cost higher but they have a standard cost. They come out every Friday afternoon and that is great. They take a little while to get back at me but that is okay.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were on time, and seemed to know what they were doing. I am now using them as my pool cleaning service.

Paul was the only pool repair person of 4 or 5 I talked to who actually communicated and kept his appointment (others didn't want to drive to Boulder City or simply never showed up). He used text messages to communicate, which actually worked really well for me. I originally left a voicemail with him and I heard back a few days later--he was out of town and dealt with business as soon as he got back to it. I am impressed that he bothered to call back, and also grateful. He was flexible with times and arrived on time when we nailed down the appointment. He was very friendly and personable. My husband will comment on the actual pool work, which I understand was done very well for a great price! Paul was great to work with and quickly determined what was wrong with our system. I haven't had a pool before and he took the time to explain the valves to me and made suggestions on how long to run the pump, how many chlorine tablets to use, etc. He fixed the problems with the pool vac and serviced all of the valves, but didn't try to sell me upgrades or anything else I didn't need. I highly recommend Paul to repair your pool!

I was searching for a pool company to do tile and cleaning for my plaster pool. I sent emails to roughly 4-5 different companies. Thankfully, Royal Blue Pools was the only company to contact me from Angies list. Paul helped me find a quality tile cleaner(Don, from Grout Plus) and he did the acid wash for my pool. I will use him again and found he did a quality job as he promised, the pool has never looked better.

Came on day I called!! Was very knowledgeable in pool field. Showed me the parts that was broken and why water was not circulating. Got the parts and was right back in am of next day!! Couldn't be happier. Honest, reliable and personable. Was not over charged. Hard to find in Vegas!!!

Paul came out to give a quote and starting telling me many things about my pool as if he had built it himself. He showed me how to make adjustments on the pool (first time pool owners) while discussing various options such as with a salt system. After getting a second quote from another company, we called Paul and had them do the work. He came on the day agreed and took care of light, plumbing, and cleaning. I didn't even see him, but met the cleaning crew. Great crew who were punctual, and professional. Also, the crew are highly knowledgeable. Very happy with them!

Very well. Paul said that he was the owner of the company and he arrived on time and answered all of our questions, some of which were very basic because this was our first pool. Had we not already agreed to a basic monthly maintenance plan with someone else, we would have felt very confident in using his services based on the excellent presentation he had provided.

I was in the process of buying a property with a pool that was completely disgusting and in need of some serious cleaning and repairs..After leaving voicemails with several AList companies, I called Paul at Royal Blue Pools to see if I could get an estimate right away on making the pool and the entire system like new again. To my delight Paul contacted me right away and went out that day to do an inspection and estimate on repairs, etc. THAT DAY!..(other companies on AList wanted to put me on a schedule to see the pool the following week)...Paul called me immediately after his inspection and said that a written estimate would be emailed to me as soon as he got back to his computer...and a couple of hours later I had a solid quote... Paul came out to give us an estimate on replacing the motor in our pool pump. His price was better (by about $100) than the other estimates we had gotten. He was able to do the work the same day. We did have a small problem after the work was completed, we brought it to his attention and he immediatly came and made the adjustment that was needed. He was pleasant to work with, he did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. I will use him again for any pool issue we have and would most definitely recommend him.

Paul did a great job of acid washing the pool on a very timely basis. Additionaly, he fixed our underwater cleaning system and balanced our chemicals, for no additional fee.

I contacted Paul from Royal Blue with a persistent algae problem, and after working with me to try to get the water back in good condition, they realized I was fighting a losing battle. Paul emptied the pool, did a very thorough chlorine wash twice, and he is cleaning the filters to eliminate the algae problem. They were very neat and clean, as well as being very professional and nice. They are meticulous and conscientious, and are extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with pools. They go above and beyond. Their prices are very reasonable, and I could not be happier with them.
