We directly communicate with our customers and are always a phone call away. Our pool service starts at only $120.00/month and offer $75 for bi weekly service. We will work with you to determine the best type of service plan to fit your family’s needs. Paul, the owner of the company is hands on. I have just moved here and he came out the day after I called to look at my pool and explain how everything worked. I have owned a pool before, but this one has significantly more pumps and controls than my old pool. Paul was very patient to explain how everything worked and to assure me I can contact him at anytime with questions or concerns. Also, being a former pool owner I have used a pool service before and consistent reliable service is important to me. Paul's staff is very professional and consistently shows up on the same day each week to service my pool. Before they began my weekly service they cleaned the filter, texted me pictures of how bad it was which was contributing to the poor performance of my pool equipment. I needed a new control panel inside my home as well. Paul quoted a reasonable price and then came out and installed it himself. Everything is now working perfectly. A few days ago, I woke up to my spa drained and my heater showing an error. I immediately texted Paul. I was a little panicked and was not sure what to do. Within seconds, Paul had texted back and told me what to do and that he would be out that day to check it out. He came out later that same day. I was not home so he texted me pictures of the problem ( a rodent had eaten away a wire) and all was now working fine. I thanked him for responding so quickly and asked the amount. He indicated it was just part of his job and the level of service they provide. If you want outstanding customer service you can count on time and time again, Paul and his staff at Royal Blue Pools are the company for you. You will not be disappointed. They are A++++.

I called Paul yesterday and he showed up this morning, texted me when he was on his way. Paul fixed the problem with my spa, the pump filter was leaking and another company wanted to charge for this, Paul found out it was just clogged. He even went to the store and bought the parts needed to fix my spa problem. Overall, he worked from 0930 to 1200 and charged me $100. He explained what was going on with my spa. I had another company that gave me a quote for 5X what Paul charged me. He was pleasant and very easy to work with. I will definitely use Paul again. AMAZING AND QUICK SERVICE!!!

Description of Work: Paul Buntrock (owner) and his team (especially Noe) are the consummate professionals. I found them through Angie's List (thanks Angie) and hired them to do my weekly pool upkeep. I've had two major repair issues; heater and cracked filter case. In both instances, Paul has jumped to the rescue, made perfect repairs immediately, and not charged me an arm and a leg. On the coldest day of the year our pool valves started leaking and to make matters worse it was at 8:00pm We called Paul and he immediately responded and told us what to do until he got here first thing in the morning He was prompt, courteous and really had a handle on pool repairs- he even checked out our whole system to make sure we were good. He is definitely the person I would call in the future with any problems and will highly recommend him

My spa stopped working. Paul quickly found that it was a bad valve and replaced it. While he was here, he gave me more tips and invaluable information about operating my pool and spa than the company that originally installed it. And to top it all off, he sounds like one of those actors on "Game of Thrones."

I am certainly happy I found a great pool service provider. My pool looks great.
Description of Work: I actually hired him to do my weekly pool maintenance. I did call some other pool service providers to come and look at the pool. He was quick in returning my phone call. We agreed on the services he will provide. I have not met him personally but I can tell he is on top of his business. He returns phonecalls and explains the situation or sends someone over to check my pool. His rates are very reasonable as well.

The service is very good. They are an excellent company. The pool is kept absolutely clean and the equipment has always been repaired when necessary. They have been very good to me.

we are still using this company for weekly pool service & maintenance of our pool & would recommend them - our pool looks great & is in good condition. We're first time pool owners, just moved to NV - called another service (can't remember the name) that a neighbor recommended. That service no longer does 'pool servicing' in our area, but recommended ROYAL BLUE POOLS, said that he the owner; Paul is dependable, knowledgeable, reasonable in pricing & maintenance & on going care. We called & Paul came out the very next day - our pool was built in 2004 & while the house was on the market this past year, it had minimal maintenance. Paul checked out all our equipment, the pool itself & tested the chemicals, etc, gave us some tips & an estimate on what service would cost us & what he thought we would need to get it cleaned up & able to use. Our light was broken & he said let's try to repair it rather than replace as they're fairly expensive. He came back & forth 4 times that day with parts, trying to get it fixed. He ended up ordering parts & came back & repaired the light.. saved us a bunch. He has some employees & they are now servicing our pool weekly, cleaning & providing chemicals. From what we hear, some pool cleaners don't show up - Paul's guys do, every week! about the same time & do a great job. Paul has checked back with us & if we have any problems, questions, repairs, etc. know he's there. We also wanted to install a rail that was in the garage, but had no hardware for it - Paul helped us locate the parts & my husband is going to install it, but Paul said if we have a problem, just let him know.

The worker arrived when expected. His attitude was professional. He vacuumed the pool and checked the chemicals fine. But he was supposed to clean the filter. He spent about 4 -5 minutes cleaning the filter. When he left, I had to remove the filter and clean it again. It took me about 20 minutes to clean what he did not. Also, he unscrewed my hoses, and used his own hose and left mine unscrewed. Now both my hoses leak. Maybe it is coincidence, but I do not know why he did not just use mine.

We've been using Paul and Royal Blue Pool (RBP) service going on 2 year now. They do a great job and good to work with in coordinating services. However, due to some changes in city and county regulations, he no longer does light install & repairs. And while RBP do not install and set up automated systems generally, they do equipment repairs and have been keeping my system running well. I gave a "B" for professionalism mainly because sometimes there are communication glitches, but nothing that doesn't get worked out. We've been using them now since we've moved into our house a couple of years ago, and so they're almost like family... UPDATE (8/08/14): It's been a year and a half since this review. I thought that I had given an updated review, but I feel the need to make a update here. I was one of the customers who had been sold off to another "up and coming" pool service provider (Blue Magic). I did receive "the letter", but it had suggested that they were expanding through merger. That was not the case. Our account was apparently sold to this other company after which I had (and have continued to have) many problems. We were not really given an option, however when the truth finally came out, it was made clear that Blue Magic took over out account. I think this needs to be said because Paul will dump customers if it doesn't serve him (he said that he was going to concentrate in the NW area or something, yet it seems he still services this side of town). When we were his customers, he did do a good job cleaning and was generally responsive when problems arose. Yet, on the other hand, when an issue arose that he didn't feel like doing, he tended to make excuses unless pushed on it. (He used to install lights, but cut out that service after a while.) So, if you are one of the customers that's in a service area convenient to him, then you will likely have no problems. However, if it becomes too difficult for him to service your pool, then have a back up option. That's been my experience. There were many of us who were "sold off" and yet he is still taking new customers. Go figure. We were not left in "good hands" (although the guy who works for Blue Magic, Eric, does a great job. It's his boss who doesn't seem to know crap about pool repairs - my review of Blue Magic will be coming forthwith), as we've had continuous problems since the change over. Despite some of the communication "issues", Paul was good about keeping things on track and on schedule. He saved me money on some things (the rebuilt robot pool cleaner still works great - thanks in part to the guys at NPS), but dumping us off was unprofessional. So, the reason for this late of a review is because my previous "updated" review post "sell off" does not seem to be present. Buyer beware.

First off with in an hour of my initial phone call Paul called back. He offered to come out the next morning. He was on time and was professional in his manner. He than preformed a complete inspection of the pool and the operating filter/heating system. After which Paul laid out a realistic plan of action to both repair the broken heater and take over the weekly service of the pool. With in hours Paul had a realistic quote for the repairs and could do the install with in days. Three days later the heater was installed and Paul's service crew had clean and treated the pool seamlessly. There were some minor electric problems which once identified were quickly resolved by one of Paul's team members. Since that time everything has been has been working optimally and pool service has been top notch.
Description of Work: Pool service. Inspection of the pumps and filters. Replacement of broken pool heater. Readjustment of PH levels in the water.

I hired Royal Blue Pools to clean my pool last year. At first everything was fine. Where it went downhill was when he decided to outsource the work to another company WITHOUT my permission. These new guys (which cannot be found anywhere online) are supposedly called "Blue Magic Pool and Spa". They do not exist anywhere online and seem to be some sort of phantom company that filed to do business about 6 months ago. Paul never called me to say "You are being outsourced to another company". He simply sold me out to this phantom company and they are terrible. "Blue Magic Pools" comes once a week and vacuums the pool. That is it. They do not brush, they do not test, they do not backwash the filter.... nothing. They vacuum.... So if you want to be outsourced by Paul and get vacuuming for $125/mo. this is the service for you

I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT BLUE MAGIC IS FAR FROM A "PHANTOM" COMPANY. THEY ARE A LEGITIMATE, LICENSED, INSURED LLC. I PERSONALLY KNOW THE LEAD TECHNICIAN. HE HAS OVER 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE POOL INDUSTRY, AND HAS ALSO WORKED FOR MYSELF AS WELL. THE COMPLAINTS THIS CUSTOMER STATES ABOUT BLUE MAGIC'S POOR SERVICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY UPON HIS UNHAPPINESS. WHY WOULD SOMEONE CONTINUE TO PAY FOR SERVICE THEY ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH? THE POOL WAS FAIRLY PRICED AT $125 A MONTH. IT WAS AN OVERSIZED, 8FT DEEP POOL WITH VERY MATURED FOLIAGE. THERE WERE LEAVES AND PINE NEEDLES CONSTANTLY DROPPING INTO THE POOL. THE POOL REQUIRED AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF TIME TO CLEAN AND A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF CHEMICALS TO PROPERLY MAINTAIN. I UNDERSTAND THIS CUSTOMER HAD ISSUES WITH BLUE MAGIC. I JUST FEEL IT DOESN'T GIVE HIM THE RIGHT TO BERATE ROYAL BLUE POOLS. I TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN MY WORK AND STRIVE TO MAINTAIN EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I FEEL THAT THIS CUSTOMER IS TRYING TO BE SPITEFUL AND VINDICTIVE IN WRITING THIS REVIEW AND TRYING TO RUIN MY REPUTATION. When we purchased our house a little over a year ago there was a mustard algae problem with the pool. We called Royal Blue Pools to help with that and also to explain to us how to take care of the pool ourselves. After meeting Paul we decided to just have his company take care of the maintenance weekly for $99 a month. Paul did explain to us in an easily understandable manner how to use the 25 year old pool equipment since we had never had a pool before and didn't know how to do anything. The equipment that we had was quite old and caused some problems but he never pressured us into new equipment. When we decided to install a new heater, pump and filter system however he promptly purchased and installed them for us and explained how to use them. We contact him often by text message with multiple questions and he always responds quickly and helpfully. The men who come to clean the pool once a week are also very polite and professional. We are quite pleased with the company and will continue to use them for our pool service needs.
Description of Work: Besides weekly pool maintenance, over the course of one year we've used Royal Blue Pools to fix an algae problem, replace the pool light, replace the vacuum hose so that the vacuum works much better and to replace an old heater, pump and filter system.

A great experience with a reliable knowledgeable company that exceeds expectations.
Description of Work: I called this company after I became disenchanted with my previous pool service. I made an appointment with the owner, Paul, the following morning. He arrived promptly and we discussed the problems I had with my previous service. He assured me that I would not have those problems with his company. We set up a bi-weekly service schedule for the winter months. We also had a fiber optic pool light that a rat had gotten into and chewed the wires so that it wasn't working anymore. Paul was able to fix it for us, something my previous company knew nothing about and so could never fix it. That really impressed us. Turns out Paul used to build pools so he really is a lot more knowledgeable than most pool services. The next morning, Paul arrived per our schedule and cleaned and serviced our pool and spa. He also replaced two o-rings on the filter that were leaking. Now we have a beautiful sparkling pool and spa that have working lights! Just a great company to work with.

Overall, it went very smoothly and Paul surpassed all of my expectations. Before the install, Paul and I worked out the details of the job via text, which was very convenient for me. He responded to all of my texts and put up with my many questions. It was ridiculously hot on the day of the install and Paul got the job done anyway. (I wanted to wait until fall but my old pump died.) It only took him two days and the entire system was installed and working correctly with no leaks. He also programmed the pump to get it up and running. On top of everything, he painted the entire system a nice tan color to minimize sun damage and blend in with the surrounding landscaping. It was a fabulous job and I recommend him wholeheartedly!
Description of Work: Paul removed my old pool pump, filter and valves and replaced them with brand new valves, a new Pentair Intelliflo pump and a new Pentair cartridge filter system.
