Roger's Repair Service

Roger came out an looked at our pool pump, which would try to start but would not run. He diagnosed a dead pump, and installed one for us that he had with him. He recommended a single speed pump, as the energy savings of a two-speed pump (which we had) did not justify the additional cost. He did a very professional job and we are happy with the results. The only drawback: No credit cards. This cash payment put quite a dent in our budget.

It was fine. It was as much as the house heater. I just called these people to see if it could be repaired but it could not be repaired. They did what I asked them to do but they didn't do any repairs. He looked into it. He was courteous when he called me. He called me twice. I talked to him when he was looking at it and he called me back to tell me that it can't be repaired.

The friendly and knowledgeable technician was able to identify a bad GFI switch and a bad Jandy LED circuit board inside one of my pool lights. He was able to fix the GFI and get a quote for a new circuit board. I decided to forgo the fix of the individual board at this time because the high price of the circuit board. I do plan on replacing it later and will definitely use Roger's to have it installed.

I was away on vacation, they worked through a neighbor to do repairs. all went well.

The service was alright. I think there were additional costs to the $39 Big Deal. I think they are okay. I would maybe use them again in the future.

My original appointment had to be rescheduled by the provider due to some problems they were having completing another job. That was no big deal. There were several external leaks in the external pvc pipes for the pool. There were 2 trips, the first to check out the issue, the second to fix the issue. The owner Roger, replaced 2 pvc pipes and associated fittings, also replaced the pressure gauge on the filter. The total time he spent at my house was around 1 1/2 hours, total cost including the initial 39 dollars to Angies list was $499. I thought the work quality was fine but it was a lot of money for the time he spent.

The serviceman was very professional and friendly. He said everything was in working order and reminded us how to use the equipment, correctly.

Excellent service. Friendly staff that answered the phone. Bill arrived promptly on time and fixed everything quickly. He was very knowledgable and gave me some instruction on how to operate our pool. I would definitely call him again in the future and recommend him to clients since I am also in real estate. Came at appointed time. Tech was clean + professional. Explained exactly what he was going to do.

Pump was loosing prime overnight and would take a while to create the suction and was getting worse. Noticed a very small leak on the outlet side of the pump. Purchased the Angie's deal based on the reviews for Roger's Repair Service and was not disappointed. Contacted me shortly after purchase to schedule a day and time to come out. Came out on time and knew what the issue was immediately and discovered a second leak during inspection. Fixed both leaks and changed the O-ring on the pump. Very happy with the professionalism and knowledge of the tech. Would not hesitate to call Roger's Repair Service next time I have an issue with the pool!

My pool pump had been losing prime. My pool service (who tries very hard and has done well by me) were stumped by this problem that arose after they installed a new pump casing. Roger came out and within just a few minutes he had the problem figured out - a bad seal between the pump and the impeller. A few minutes later everything was back together and running. He showed me everything he found and everything he was doing as he went along. Very professional and thorough. I will definitely call him again if I have any other issues with my pool pump.

The Roger's tech did a great job and was very pleasant and informative. He cleaned up after himself and was on his way in under an hour.

He took forever to get here. They gave me a bunch of hours that they would show up in. It was like half an hour before they would close for the day. I had waited all day for them and then I called up. I don't know if they forgot me or what, but he rushed right over here to get here before the end of the day. I was having a problem with my pool motor. He went out and took a look at it and told me it was done and quoted me awful lot of money to replace it and then he just left. I just didn't like how he treated me. When I called this other one the next day, the guy came out and it was just a little part and he had fixed in 5 minutes. I really just needed somebody's opinion on what to do at that time. So, to have somebody to come out and check I don't think the big deal price was bad. I wouldn't call the person again. I wouldn't recommend them to a family member or a neighbor.

It turned out well. He was very honest and took care of what I needed to be taken care of. They came in not less than a week from buying the big deal. I'd tell them to call them. I would call them again.

Called for an estimate. Was Informed that for an estimate someone would need to come to house and that would be a minimum 80 dollars. I am not sure how anyone survives in business charging for estimates. Competitive bidding is not a new concept. No harm I will just move on to one of the many other providers who offer the services I am looking for and are willing to bid on the job. With regard to the business reply. The address you googled is a mailing address. UPS store to be exact. We dont put our actual address all over the internet. While you enthusiastically jumped to conclusions rather than address the relevant points in our review it changes nothing. We called you for an estimate, you refused to provide one without a service charge. We went with another provider and gave them 1600 dollars worth of work, end of story.

It was fine. They did a very good job. There was not anything I disliked. They did an excellent job.

Nice guys and would use them again. Water damage is always a nightmare but they came on time and did the work to my needs. Cost was a little high but worth is.

We were delighted with the service Roger's Repair gave us and will certainly use them again if necessary.

everything went well, taught my husband many things

My water feature wall was full of algae and some dirt at the bottom because the water pump had not been working for some times. Roger drained the water, washed the wall and bottom with chemicals (double quantity was used because the algae was so tough), brushed the algae vigorously, rinsed and vacuumed the bottom. Roger worked for almost two and half hours. He also gave me some useful advice on pool filtration system and water quality control. Thank him very much.

I would not hesitate on second to recommend this company. They called ahead of time like they said the would. The gentleman that was here was very through and explained what he had to do and the cost involved. Very very satisfied.

Inspected Pool and spa , and although the news was terrible, he was honest and truthful about what the issues were. We will be calling him back when we can afford to fix it all. He also was very knowledgable about pools which we needed.

Purchased Big Deal then after speaking with company I didn't need it.

Adjusted some valves and educated me on the operation of my pool.
