Description of Work: they were friendly, punctual & completed move timely. |I would have only one concern..This might possibily be an overall company issue however,the absence of shoe covers/ booties when tracking in & out on newer carpeting was not addressed. Carpeting was left with serious black foot marks through out condo. That would be my 1 & only complaint.

Description of Work: They sent 2 young men to pack up the balance of our house that was left to go into a POD container on July 30. After walking David, who was the Lead Man on the job, through the Office, Family room,Garage and Master Bedroom (there were only a few furniture items left) and showing him specifically what "office items-papers" were to be left out of the POD to go to a local storage facility, along with plastic containers of clothing from Master Bedroom closet; all of the rest of the items shown to him would be put in the POD container. They were then going to have my husband lock up the pod and put the above stated items into their truck for the local storage and put the items into that location, which would then be locked and the job would be done. I had to leave and go back to work and David stated that he understood exactly what had to be packed into the POD and what would then be packed onto their truck for the local storage. In about 4 1/2 hours I went to the Storage facility and unlocked the unit and told them to start packing the items from the truck and I would have to leave but my husband (who had driven from our home after locking up the POD and the house after they left) beat them to the facility and was waiting with me for them to arrive) would be up from the facility office to lock up the unit. They had put the "office items/papers" into the POD unbeknownst to me and had put a Manicurist Table into the storage unit, which was supposed to have been put into the POD. Upon discovering the mistake later in the day, I immediately called Red Carpet and told them of the mistake and that I needed to have the same guys come out and undo their mistake. I was informed that I would have to pay for another minimum of 2 hours for 2 men and a truck for that to happen. I told them I did not think that was fair as the men were told what to pack and they did not do the correct packing. I went ahead and told them that I needed the items changed out as the "office items/papers" were needed on a weekly basis so I would go ahead and pay for it to be corrected. They did not send David out, but another Lead Man and the other man who was on the original pack job, and we did get it corrected and I was charged for another 2 hours for their services. I put in an incident report to my credit card company and then informed Angie's List of the incident. In the next two days, the owner of Red Carpet called me and apologized and offered to credit my card for the charges if I would repair the report to Angie's list, which I did call and do. I believe the Red Carpet owner did try and repair his company reputation, but I would not hire their company again. Thank You Angie's List for your help. Sandra Parker

Description of Work: I had an out of state shipment so Red Carpet referred me to their affiliate Craters and Freighters. They were prompt and did an outstanding job packing the table so it would ship safely.

Description of Work: They were very professional and courteous. Throughout the day they always had a smile on their face, even in 102 degree heat. They dismantled and wrapped up all furniture, loaded up the truck, unloaded the truck with furniture and boxes, set up all the furniture, THEN went to our storage unit, emptied it out, loaded up the truck and unloaded once again. |they are good at what they do and they are quick. We appreciated them so much, we bought them lunch, they deserved it!! |I would recommend this company to everyone. Thanks Kevin and Rick for a job well done.
