Precision Chem Dry

I purchased a Big Deal for carpet cleaning. The guy was really nice. But within a few weeks the spots reappeared.

Spoke with Annie to schedule the appointment. She was friendly and professional. I have used them before, so she knew before I even told her who I was just what had been cleaned the last time. She asked if I wanted the same, but I did not, so she quoted me a new price. She was able to schedule a time that was convenient for me. The appointment was scheduled for 8 a.m. The technician, Phil, called about 25 minutes beforehand to say he was running about 5 minutes late. He arrived as estimated, and after an examination and discussion of the areas to be cleaned, went ahead and did the job. We are very pleased with the results. The living room carpet had a couple of bad coffee stains on it and he was able to completely remove them.

I had been using them for about two years, the same tech always came out and he was wonderful. He left for whatever reason, and they sent us someone new. He was a slick talker who was not a good worker. When I called the office to set up another appointment I explained that I did not like the person they sent me, the woman at the office had an attitude with me. The next two guys came out, and did not do a very good job either. When they walked in to look around, they went into one of the rooms and told me it would be extra, I explained to them that it never had been before. They told me that I could take it or leave it. A few weeks later I got a letter in the mail explaining that they did not want my business any longer. I cannot believe their poor customer service.

Technician communicated well as to arrival time and his service plan. He was very pleasant, thorough, and professional. I am very pleased with the service, and would highly recommend this provider.

Mike showed up right on time. We darkened all the rooms and followed Mike around as he pointed out the pet urine spots with a black light. We had just moved into our just purchased home. It was a little overwhelming to see all the spots. Mike vacuumed the entire house; proceeded to spot treat the pet stains; and finally cleaned and sanitized the carpeting. he did a great job. We will definitely use the service again.

Everything went very well. Would absolutely use this company again. Punctual, professional - all very positive experiences. on time, communicated very well with us on schedule and time. great group of people.

They looked bran new when Chem Dry was done. Excellent!

He was on time and did a good job. Some of the stains have come back, but I think they are fairly deep seated stains and so disappear only temporarily. I like chem dry because it dries fast.

It was my hope that there would be a noticeable difference and to my eye there really wasn't. It may be that once berber starts looking that way there is no way to bring it back but i am going to rent a steam cleaner the next time and see if that is any better. So i have nothing against the provider whatsoever except that their service did not meet my particular needs.

They did everything they were supposed to do. Totally professional. BUT my expectations were different from what they provided. I expected a chemical shampoo/vacuum that would have sucked up the dander and dirt. The machine used was like a hard floor buffing machine with cloths. I didn't like the process, tho they did nothing wrong. I feel the carpets would have have more dirts/dander sucked up with the more traditional type machine. This truly is a case of "Its not you, it's me."

Tech arrived at the scheduled appointment time. He looked around at the rooms to be cleaned, explained what needed to be done, then provided an estimate. He also used an ultraviolet light to find areas that were soiled by pet "accidents", and explained the importance of using a solution to remove, not just mask the odor in those areas. The tech was polite, efficient, informative and professional. The only problem that I had was, he doesn't clean under beds. I was informed by the office when I scheduled the service that the techs don't move heavy furniture ( like beds,dressers, etc), but my grand-daughter and I did the actual moving, then he indicated that his solution was running out because he hadn't planned on doing under the beds. I found it somewhat strange that a carpet cleaning company, who charged me $400.00 only plans to clean around things. I am 70 years old, and I had to move every piece of furniture in this house, or it would have just stayed dirty. The carpet looks so much better, so overall they did a good job.

Technician Phil arrived and examined areas to be cleaned. Explained process of carbonated water cleaning and drying differences versus steam cleaning. Vacuumed all areas and cleaned all carpets. Although this process is new to me, it cleaned my carpets far better than any steam cleaning I've used prior. Carpets (and padding) were not soaking wet and dried in no time.

The tech arrived on time and was very friendly. My daughter and I show him the areas upstairs that needed to be cleaned. What we thought were stains were simple wear and tear he explained. . The tech started, after bringing in the equipment, between approx. 8:15 and 8:20 am. It took about 8 hours for the carpet to dry. I went upstairs to look at the job that was completed. There I found my hall lights on when I had opened up all of the blinds. As I was coming down the stairs I noticed, as I rounded the bend, there was a line of green paint on my white walls. I refuse to comment any further. You will just have to take your chances.

I originally contacted Precision ChemDry to find an alternative to steam cleaning our carpets due to the steam cleaning process drying time. The CSR I talked to was very helpful in giving my a price quote and, when I mentioned Angies List, informing me of the discount available. Based on this information, I arranged a carpet cleaning appointment. Joey, the Precsion ChemDry carpet cleaner arrived punctually and was very professional. He explained their carpet cleaning process and how it differed from steam cleaning and answered the few questions that we had. Joey was very thorough and meticulous while doing the cleaning. The cleaning process took longer than we were used to with steam cleaning (about 2 1/2 hours vs 1 hour), but the results were comparable. There were a few cat generated soiled spots that did not come out, however, when we pointed these out to Joey, he brought his equipment back in and cleaned each of them to our satisfaction. As we were told, the carpet (except for a few spots that required additional treatment) was completely dry within 3 hours, rather than the 12 hours we had previously experenced with steam cleaning. Precision ChemDry did a professional job and we are satisfied with the results. We will use them again, and I can heartily recommend them to other Angie's List memebrs.

The tech was efficient, quick, and prompt. The area smells much better. The price was very high for such a small area, though to their credit, they did have to use a special dissolving solution because of the saturation. Plus, I had actually made the carpet worse by renting a cleaner and trying to do it myself. I would use them again, no question.

The machine used was big and bulky, it's more effective to clean an empty building. The open spaces of the condo were clean, however there were spaces that were less than satisfactory because it would be better reached with a smaller equipment. And since my coffee table has a glass top, tech informed me he wasn't allowed to move it, and I had to move it myself. I am 65 years old and have had two back surgeries and have been restricted from pushing, pulling or dragging anything heavy. That would have to be a consideration for any carpet cleaning in the future. Tech was professional.

The deal was for 4 rooms and a hallway When calling about the appointment the office explained the extra charges and cost for additional rooms This was important to know before the job was started. Phil the technician explained the process and even offered alternative options to save costs based on his observation of the condition if the carpet In my opinion he cleaned our carpet as if it was his own home. His attention to detail and the end result was beyond our expectation. During the process he explained the products and solutions he was using. We were concerned about any effects on our Pet. All chemicals were safe I would recommend Precision Chem Dry
