+ 0 moreI have been using them for three years or so and I am very happy with their service. I had a bad infestation of bugs and they did a really good job on that. I haven't seen any bug since and I was quite impressed. I have had hornets in the past and they took care of those as well. They are very good and very agreeable to do almost anything to take care of anything that I think I have a problem with.
Description of Work: I use Mountain View Pest Control for pest control. They come the last Thursday of every month and spray.

Description of Work: We had a serious pigeon problem. It was even much bigger than thought after he got here. He had to set up the wiring in 4 locations on our roof and clean up the mess the pigeons left. He was here about 3.5 hours and ended up filling 2 garbage bags. When he was done he said that it might take a couple of months for the pigeons to leave us permanently and that is exactly what happened.

+ -1 moreIt was the same each month, they called a couple of days ahead of the appointment as a reminder and came in and performed the job.
Description of Work: I used them for about a year before I purchased the Big Deal, we had a problem with that because I was selling the house and my soon to be 92 year old mother was afraid to let them him while I was in another state house hunting. However, if you want a company that has a product that deals with some of the creatures you might not wnat to co-exist with and you have pets, very elderly people, children, this is the place to call. They effectively handle Scorpians, as do my cats, but with less gore and drama and posionous spiders; plus, when they get rid of these more toxic denizens of the desert, they do not pace them in your bed, on your head and beg for a treat(as do the cats) There is no odor, film or feeling of guminess on the surfaces; they put on the operating room cover-ups on their shoes and do not track your floor as well as completing the garage, the house and the garden.

+ -1 morePretty straightforward and nothing out of the ordinary worth mentioning. Work was performed as expected at a fair value. At face value it was a small job for $150, but I suppose that there is a price to pay for crawling around on a roof and not breaking tiles and dealing with pigeon droppings.
Description of Work: Very satisfied with the work performed and no longer have a pigeon issue in the problem area that was addressed. Apparently there was a fair amount of pigeon droppings on the roof because the pressure washing that came with this service resulted in pigeon droppings in my landscaping rock that were not removed. That said, I suppose it would be difficult to pick up matter of that size. I resolved this issue by raking the rock.

+ -1 moreThis company was great on the phone and gave me a reduced price with Angie's List. The technician was great, came when he said he would. We had a moderate ant problem. The poison they used was good as it was not extremely toxic, however, it's success depends on repeated applications. We did one time, then realized our homemade ant traps were doing the same thing without having the spray all over. It just takes time to get rid of ants apparently. I would call them again if I had a severe pest problem, however, we are trying not to use any more poisons than necessary around the house, so we will continue with our home remedies. They have cleared up our ant problem currently.

We were unwilling to have any pest control performed inside the house (we have pets) so we called Mountain View and they performed outside service with a handheld sprayer. There are no longer any ants in our kitchen. Success!

+ -1 moreVery polite and explained options well. The scrabbling did continue until just a few days ago but that had been explained to me also that it would take awhile. The last week quiet so hoping it is taken care of. They are returning for power spray this week and will update in a few months with service review. Their quoted regular service price of $67 for every other month service was comparable to what I am currently paying. I have no doubt though it will be well done. Very pleased and glad to have a service that can deal with both rodents and insects.
Description of Work: I bought the $139 deal to try to get rid of whatever has taken up in my attic. I bought a home that had been empty a long time. While I was pleased with insect / bug people I was using they did not deal with rodents so tried the Deal when offered to exterminate rodents. Not sure exactly what had taken up in my attic but had been having regular scrabbling sounds and was at a loss as to how to see what it was or how to get rid of it. Promptly answered calls and on arrival checked attic and roof to see where entry might be. Explained options clearly. Blocked exposed entrances to the attic from roof and left a trap out back along with poison left in attic with appt to return in a month to check outdoor trap and see if anything further needed. I did decide to try a continued service which will be a power spray when he returns to check the trap and going to do a trial and possibly switch to them for my regular service.

+ -1 moreIt went well.....on time, etc. Talked to the owner (I think) on the phone a couple of weeks later. He was very willing to give me a reduced price for a contract as I am a senior on a specific income....very nice person.
Description of Work: Bought this service off of an Angie's list."special" - can't remember the price, but it was very reasonable...the man that came out was very professional and knowledgeable. A few days after they came out we had more ants and another scorpion. They came back out and took care of the problem - used a different kind of spray, I think....specifically for ants/scorpions.

We discussed the types of pest problems I was having and he explained all of the company's services. I agreed to signing a one-year contract, although there was certainly no pressure to do so. I was just having major spider and roach problems. He sprayed, and I have not seen a live bug since. I appreciate the service. The company always calls the day before coming and is happy to re-schedule if it will be an inconvenient date.
Description of Work: Sprayed outdoors for pests, primarily black widow spiders and roaches.

+ -1 moreOver all it went well. The tech arrived on time and got right to business. The whole process didn't take 15 minutes. The tech was professionally dressed courteous and professional. Like I mentioned earlier you may have to work with them depending on your schedule and when you can be home. I wasn't called back when they said they would so did have to call again. But, an appointment was made and they were there when they said they would be.
Description of Work: The service tech came out and sprayed the outside yard, garage, and inside the house. I have seen a couple of crickets since then but they were in the garage not the house. Other than that no bugs outside or in. The only difficulty was getting a time that I would be home and they could get here. If you have a few days to work with for them to arrive no problems there.

+ -1 moreOverall, this went very well. Talked to owner directly. Technician was sent out quickly. Technician was polite and informative. The only downside was the misscommunication over pricing. I was quoted $35 to $38 over the phone. When the tech was getting ready to leave I asked him for the bill. Because I was an add on, he didn't have the invoice papers. The owner sent a bill via e-mail for $65.00. He gave a $3.00 discount for being an Angie's customer. The invoice stated $65.00 for a power spray. I didn't think that a hand held sprayer is a power spray, but I could be wrong. At any rate, the ants were gone for Thanksgiving and I was grateful.
Description of Work: Technician used a hand held pump type sprayer and sprayed where there were signs of ant activity and where ants could possibly be entering the house.
