Description of Work: I joined AL to report the terrible service I have received from K&B. I am to understand each section of the valley is serviced by an assigned tech. I happen to be in the Southeast section assigned to a tech that refuses to: show up on time, listen for answers to questions he has asked, repair the unit itself, replace the unit when asked to, or complete the job! The first call to my house was nearly 6 weeks ago. My garage door still does NOT work!!!! I have been trapped both inside as well as outside my house on nearly 2 dozen occassions. Last I heard he ordered a logic board (after being asked to replace the whole thing). When asked what the possible ETA was for the new board, he shrugged, and replied: "No Idea". Needless to say with a $75-$130 per visit, I could have had a new opener by now; but instead, I have a broken door opener & a really angry husband.

+ -1 moreThey were on time which is unusual in Las Vegas. They called to give estimate of arrival and were prompt. Danny was the installer. He explained work and price before he started work. He estimated it'd take about 1 1/2 hours to complete work. Accurate. Also programmed car switch to open with push of button. He was professional and courteous. I'd use them again. The springs were $189 and Liftmaster $307.19. Replacing a Genie the noise of which over the past few years was a pain. The Genie was loud!!!!
Description of Work: Installed Liftmaster 3280 1/2 HP belt driven door opener and dual springs.

+ -1 moreIf I hadn't been stuck with an emergency before, I would have used them. The manufacturer of the product lists them in high regard. They are also willing to put an estimate in writing and they guarantee them. The only negative is they don't work past 5 pm or on weekends. I will continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: They installed a new garage door opener and upgraded the rollers and adjusted the spring. They made an agreement that after they did this they would follow me to my brother's house and put my old unit on his garage.

The day before my appointment the office called to let me know they had an opportunity to come earlier if that would work for me. This company seems very organized and efficient. I have used this company before and they are great to work with. I would definitely recommend them for this kind of service.
Description of Work: Our garage door opener was not working. When I made the call for service they suggested it would need to be replaced because it was so old. The technician was able to replace a part. The opener is working just fine and it saved me a lot of money.

The technicians came right over and replaced the door in less than an hour. The price was half as much as it would have been normally, and the new door works perfectly. We will remain loyal to any business that behaves in such a responsible manner.

We felt that they had a large selection of options to choose from; the type of foam to whether we wanted windows in the door. We thought that the door was installed correctly and looks great. We had a good time in dealing with this company.

+ -1 moreK & B Door Company did not tell me I should just get a new door and frame and I really respected them for it. They solved this problem for me, as if it was one they were having. My garage door does not come inside the frame anymore as they remedied that situation. Sooner or later I will have to buy a new one and I guarantee I will be getting it from them and will be using these folks when that time does arrive.
