He adjusted my doors and did a great job.

Patrick did the replacements and was very professional and cleaned up his work areas. Patrick did everything I expected to be done to correct all the drafts and leaks. I was lucky to find Patrick and HyBar. Jeff, the manager and Raul were easy to deal with and knew what I wanted. HyBar did an excellent job. Will use them again for additional window work.

Hy-Bar was recommended to me by my contractor to fix my Anderson Sliding Doors. I was very pleased with their work. They quoted me a price over the phone and were prompt to show up on the scheduled day and time. The technician knew doors that's for sure. He immediately was able to tackle my doors issues and they are like new now. He had all of the parts he needed on his truck and was able to quickly make the repair and then weatherize and adjust my other doors. I will definitely use them again in the spring to measure and replace my screen doors on the Anderson sliders as well.

Called to arrange an estimate almost a week ago and the girl that answered the phone told me the person that handled that was in the field and would return my call. She took our information and it's been almost a week and we have not had a response via phone or email.

When the estimate was presented, I was told the $95 was due for the estimate. I assure you I was not advised there was a cost for an estimate. The way they present the cost to you when you call is very deceiving. Be warned if you call Hy-Bar for an estimate it will cost you $95.

I think they are good for basic items.

Installation was fine. However there was an unforseen problem which arose and delayed installation for a couple of weeks. People are friendly and do provide good service but at times there seems to be some problems with communication. But over all everything ended up fine.

They had to come and then they had to order parts and then they had to comeback, seems to me like all in all, it was a couple of hundred dollars. The price seems like a lot but when you take into account the fact that they had to make two trips and visitations and all that, I would say that it is the room of reasonability. What stood out the most is their competency and courtesy.

Worst vendor experience I have had to date.

Went to their showroom 10 days ago and looked at an Andersen french door, which is what we wanted to replace our current patio doors. Saw the door and got a lot of information from the salesman. Arranged for an early appointment the next morning to gain an estimate. He didn't show and didn't call. We called and finally got in touch with the salesperson who indicated he tried to call us but apparently had a bad number (I wrote the number for him and he still had it when he finally did come out). Arranged for a 3pm appointment that Wednesday and then realized we had a conflict. Called and left a message for him to call us. He didn't. He did call on his way to the appointment and we told him we were not available and he had not called us back. Arranged for him to come out on Friday afternoon. He did. Said he would get back to us with a full estimate on Monday afternoon and would call before he e-mailed it to us. Still waiting and it's Wednesday morning. Guess a $4000-$5000 job is not worthy. Oh well, we went with Renewal by Andersen, who we had a wonderful experience with several years ago replacing all of our windows. They are prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. I recommend them.

Went to Hy-Bar in May, 2013. Our salesman, Mike Stephens, was great: pleasant, helpful, prompt. He showed us the models, explained them, and came out to our home to measure. The door was delivered to them in about 8 weeks. During the interim, Mike never told us anything that wasn't true. After the door arrived there, we waited for Ron, the installation appt. setter. He was gone from work to attend a funeral, and we were told he'd call us the next day. We didn't hear from him, so we called and spoke to him and he said he'd call us the next day. Again the next day, we did not hear from him. Perhaps he had been away from work for awhile and had fallen behind. Maybe the funeral he'd attended was of a close friend or family member. My husband went to HyBar on the 3rd day and spoke to Mike, who was seemed surprised that we were still awaiting a call re: installation. He immediately took care of the matter, by telling Mike to give us an appointment date. Mike asked us if he hadn't called us already? No, you did not. Anyway, we were given an installation date in writing, and the installer was here on that day, and did a beautiful job. We love our new door. They will return to repair the outdoor stucco around the door tomorrow. In spite of the delay in getting an appointment, I highly recommend Hy-Bar and Mike Stephens to anyone interested in buying doors or windows, particularly the Andersen brand.

We live out-of-state and are purchasing a home in Las Vegas. Concerned about several windows, our realtor contacted HY-BAR along with two other companies. HY-BAR responded within 24 hours, provided a bid and ruled-out a costly replacement of several windows we had been concerned about. If the deal goes through, We will have HY-Bar do the work, including sun screens and new doors. Nice Job.

They called right away and came out right away for an estimate. They were very quick. I am still doing research. The estimate was thorough and the gentleman was very knowledgeable.

Very responsive to our phone call. Since the door was only four years old, initially the repairman tried to have Anderson pay for the part(s). Through no fault of Hy-Bar, Anderson refused to honor their warranty because we were not the original purchaser of the door (the person from whom we bought the house installed the door) and claimed the the warranty was not transferable to a new owner (!) - Keep that in mind next time you consider buying Anderson winodws or doors. The part needed to be ordered and about 4 weeks later Hy-Bar returned and installed the new part. They were punctual and did the job right the first time.

After initial measurements (which took all of 20 minutes, maybe), Mike told us the windows took approx 4 weeks to be delivered to their warehouse and then they would schedule installation. After only a week and a half, the windows were in and on a Thursday, I scheduled for the following Monday's installation. We were pleasantly surprised by the speed of the delivery! Hy-Bar, in one day, replaced all 7 windows. I watched most of the demo and install and was very impressed. The installers were quick and efficient and did not cut any corners that I could see - they also let me stand around watching and asking ocassional questions (a big plus in my book). The windows look wonderful and are already making a significant difference in the energy efficiency of the house. Where before my west-facing bedrooms were hot and contributed to the upstairs air/con running all day, we can stand in those rooms and feel a huge difference. We plan already to have the remaining 6 windows replaced with Jen-Weld windows by Hy-Bar next year. Honestly, Mike Stephens was the first straight-forward and honest salesperson I've dealt with in a while. He was very accessible and knowledgeable. This has been a pleasant experience for us.

Hy-Bar Windows & Doors provided us with a quality look on our new windows. One thing I didn't agree with was the time it took them to complete the job. I was under the impression it would only take a day to do them all & it ended up being 2 weeks before they were finished. With that being said, I have recommended this company to others even though it took them awhile to finish the work because the quality of their work was good.

Hy-Bar Windows & Doors sent nice people to do the work; however, they did not finish the job. They were supposed to fix the locks and install a screen door on the patio, but have never gotten around to it. When we called them, they say they will put a rush on it, but the work has not been done.

Hy-Bar Windows & Doors showed up on time and did a good job on my windows. The windows were installed properly and they open and close nicely. The windows that they used were of high quality. We haven't had a single problem with the windows as we were completely satisfied.
