Ron was prompt, professional, thorough and courteous. He explained in detail what had happened to the fireplace and how it got that way (the fireplace can and we do burn wood). After asking us a few questions about our usage, he suggested to be sure the fireplace would work properly and no longer be a safety hazard, we have the chimney cleaned prior to his working on the fireplace (something we had never done in the 20 years we have lived in our home, shame on us). Ron does not clean chimneys but when we asked, was able to recommend someone to us. Ron even made the call to the Chimney Sweep himself on our behalf. Once this was done, Ron called to make an appointment to come back out and repair the fireplace. He arrived when he said he would, quickly and efficiently made the repairs being careful of personal possessions and cleanliness, he even repaired the log fire grate that had been damaged as well which was really only a cosmetic issue . Once done, Ron showed us what he had done and how we could even use the log lighter on 2 different settings if we wanted to. We were extremely impressed with the overall experience, would use Ron again and feel confident referring him to anyone.

He charged to the penny what he quoted initially. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He finished everything a day early. He went out and inspected the flu as well to make sure everything was unclogged.

Ron came out the following day after I phoned him. He arrived on time. Spent a great deal of time checking system and discovering repair. Offered to find specialty tool that would allow me to clean fireplace easier. Gave me interesting information and direction on how to care for the fireplace. Great job.

Don't waste your time on this guy...he doesn't return phone calls. When he finally came to the house, he checked the gas fireplace and explained what part needed to be replaced and the cost. He said it would take three weeks to get the part. I said to go ahead and order it because I wanted the fireplace to operate properly. When I made the initial appointment, I explained over the phone that I wanted him to connect a gas grill to the gas line connection on the outside of the house. (I had the manufacturer's connection kit, but needed another valve.) When he showed up at the house, he didn't have the correct part on his truck! Again, he said he'd call back, but never did. Very disappointing.

Ron arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. He adjusted the logs, tweaked some valves and it was good as new. He inspected it inside and out, cleaned the window and even instructed me on how to perform cleanings myself in the future. He was very tidy.

I liked everything about him. He was neat, clean and very, very professional. He’s a friendly, nice man. The only thing is that he’s not the best at returning phone calls.

I detailed most of how it went above. Ron has been in the business 30 years and I believe is a one man outift. He was professional and courteous and in our eyes honest as he could have even told us he changed the valve and charged us the higher price and we would have been none the wiser. My husband and I will be recommending Ron to everyone for their Fireplace and gas barbeque needs.

Contacted him on Wednesday and he came out on the following Saturday, arriving between the time frame he gave me. He went right to work, servicing my fireplace and cleaning it thoroughly. He worked quickly and the price was below what I thought it'd be.

We called Ron on Monday and he said that he would be in our area on Thursday. He said he would call on Wednesday to confirm the time. He called us Wednesday evening and made an appointment for Thursday at 9:00 AM. He said he would call a half hour before he showed up. He called on Thursday morning at approximately 8:40 AM and arrived a few minutes after 9:00 AM. He did some diagnostics and determined that the wiring from the switch to the burner was the problem. He rewired the connections and got it working fine.

We had a fireplace issue and called several fireplace companies with no return calls Our neighbor referred us to Fireplace/BBQ Service,we called and had the problem fixed the next day. We will recommend this company in the future,

Ron was on time, worked efficiently, and was very informative. He even took the time to record the model and serial numbers of our unit so that he will have those on hand if the fireplace develops a problem in the future.
