They were on time, neat, friendly and professional. He determined the problem with the valve on the fireplace and made recommendations as to my options to fix it. He finished the job within an hour. His price was very fair, I thought. I was very happy with the entire process and would recommend him highly

I cannot say enough nice things about Ron. He was punctual, kind, considerate and understanding of our needs and desires. He transformed our fireplace from an eyesore to a beautiful piece in our living room. I cannot think of anything negative at all with our experience. I tried using another highly rated fireplace business in town prior to Ron and I never heard back from them. Ron was the polar opposite. Great experience. I wish he did more than fireplaces and BBQs! I would hire him in a heartbeat.

Ron did a great job, and was very personable. He was very thorough, and quick. He found and resolved our problem, and also shared with us some maintenance tips. We appreciate it when service is wonderful, and that's why I wanted to write this review. We will definitely be calling Ron back, for future fireplace servicing needs.

I called and explained that my grill wouldn't light. Ron came out in a few hours and had the problem fixed in minutes. Very pleasant and professional, especially on cold, windy day.

Everything went so well!! Ron responds quickly to calls and knows exactly what to do. I now have a working fireplace. Ron is wonderful! He's very knowledgable and so very personable. I have him on my calendar to come back in July to clean the glass, because it's a job I am not comfortable doing as the glass needs to be unmounted and handled carefully.

I called him last week and he said he could get me in sometime this week. Ron arrived at my door today and went to work to see why my remote was not working to turn on fireplace. He found a loose wire and replaced the batteries in the remote in the fireplace and it came on. Work was done in short order and just what I needed. Would use him again if I can't get it started again after I turn off during summer.

Ron is excellent- very professional, arrived early, called when he said he would, and explained the repair and possible issues with my pilot light in the future. He was also honest when I asked me whether I needed to have additional repairs performed. I will definitely call him in the future and would recommend him to anyone who needs service on their fireplace.

I called Ron, he answered the phone, which we all know is helpful! He was booked a few weeks out, but he asked me to text him my address and info, and he would try and fit me in before my BBQ I had scheduled. He did, and my Grill now works better than when it was brand new!

If there was a category A++ it would be appropriate. Ron came out today, he was prompt and on time. I explained that I had turned the fireplace off several years ago to conserve gas and that I needed to have it cleaned and put back in service. He did a throw check of the system including a check of the chimney. He cleaned the entire fireplace including the logs. He adjusted the ignition system and the flame to better than what it ever was. He even added some material to make the flames look more realistic. I asked him if he would look at my BBQ while he was here and he did. It actually needed nothing. As to his price, he quoted me $95 plus parts. When it came time for the bill, my wife asked him how much and he said $85, and she said but you quoted $95 and you looked at the BBQ too. He told her he gave us a senior discount, and that he didn't really do anything for the BBQ. HE IS MY KIND OF CONTRACTOR, ..... He will be doing my son's house and my grandson's house soon. THANKS RON YOU HAVE MY VOTE FOR BEST SUPER CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR.

My new BBQ never worked properly after it was converted to natural gas. It didn?t get hot enough. I found Ron on Angie?s list and he came out promptly. He quickly diagnosed the problem (proper gas jets had not been installed as part of the conversion). Ron drilled out the existing gas jets, reassembled the BBQ and everything now works great. While he was here I mentioned a minor problem I was having with my gas fireplace. Ron made a simple suggestion which I later tried and it seemed to fix the problem. I was very satisfied and recommend Ron highly.

He came out twice. He is very reasonable and professional. The fireplaces were probably 10 years old and the door of one didn't work so he took it with him to have it fixed by someone with the parts readily available. He just charged what the provider charged him and dropped it off for us.

Ron was amazing. He called me back promptly and came out when he said he would. I have only lived in this house a little over a year and am still learning all of it's little quirks. The previous homeowner had turned off the pilot to the fireplace and it needed an expert to get it going again. Ron knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it in no time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a quirky fireplace and would use him again.

He came on time and did the work-No problems. Hopefully it will stay lit.

Ron was very nice and professional. He arranged an appointment and agreed to call me 20 minutes in advance of his arrival at my home. He inspected the entire system (even the wall switch!) and figured out what the problem was and I paid for his service call. He also provided advice about the fireplace itself which was very helpful since I recently purchased this home and didn't have any information about it. He answered my questions patiently and helped me understand how the fireplace works. He was able to give me some information regarding some older parts that may need to be replaced eventually and he also provided me with cost estimates, based on my request. Rest assured he did not try to see me anything additional and he was very honest about repairing only what needed to be repaired. I appreciated having a better idea of the age of the fireplace unit and how it worked. I would recommend Ron without hesitation and will use his company in the future.

This was an extremely positive experience. While I was able to get my fireplace's pilot light lit, I was unable to get the fire to light. I called Fireplace & BBQ Service for an appointment using a special I purchased through Angie's List. I got an appointment just a few days out. Ron (the owner) arrived on time and spent about an hour or more doing repairs, taking time to explain just what he was doing. He was very cordial and professional and obviously fully understood what he was doing. Once he got it working, he checked it a couple time to ensure it was working properly. There was no attempt to charge me for a part or for any additional services. A week or two later I did again have a problem getting the fireplace started. I called Ron on a Sunday, fully expecting to leave a voice mail message; instead, Ron answered. I described my issue and he took the time to explain the couple steps I needed to take. It was not a problem with the fireplace but rather with what I was doing to try to get it to light. Within a couple of minutes I had the fireplace working and I have had no problem with it since. I wish all companies were as honest and responsive as Fireplace and BBQ.

Ron is the nicest person and a VERY knowledgeable repairman . Never having owned a gas log before, he gave us tips and information on keeping it operating correctly.
