Fast Glass

I called several glass companies to get estimates for replacing the glass in our sliding glass door. Fast Glass gave me the lowest price, and they were able to come out the next day. The timeframe I was given was 12-3pm, and the technician called to let me know when he was on his way. He completed the job quickly and was very professional. He answered my son's questions and didn't seem bothered that my son wanted to watch him work. We were very pleased with both the price and the service performed. We will definitely use Fast Glass in the future.

Called for a Price Quote based on Angie's List Reviews. The Price Quoted seemed fair and Tony showed up on time. I was told there is a chance the Mirror could break and it would be $ 300.00 for a replacemnet. Since the thing was going to break anyway, I said let's go for it. When Tony Removed the Mirror ( without a single scratch ) perfectly, we saw that the builder (CENTEX/PULTE) did not attach the bottom hold strip to the wall at all and just set the mirror on the cabinet and glued it on back. It was a totally incompetent job. Tony attached the strip to the wall, put some super adhesive on the Mirror that he said would hold it all by itself and on top of it all he even put some anchors on top of the mirror for a Triple Hold. Additionally he worked on getting the cabinet back to the wall where the mirror worked it loose. He was Quick, Efficient and Professional and he will be my only Glass Guy from now on.

They quoted me a price on the phone, came out on time, and performed the service for the price quoted.

It was a very good experience overall.Fast Glass came to do the measurements, within 48 hours of my initial phone call. The technicians were right on time, and the main office called me 15 minutes in advance to tell me they were on their way.The estimate was prepared a few days after the measurements were complete.I had seven companies bid on this job and Fast Glass was the cheapest. Often this scares me to use the lowest bidder, but in this case I felt that the product they use is competitive, the workmen that did the measurements were knowledgeable/experienced and the company was solid. They have been around for a long time, and the sales team was very straight forward and not pushy in the least.They use Cascade windows. The main competitor is Milgard and Window World. The ratings for solar and uv are almost identical to to those two companies. But only Cascade offers the lifetime warranty!The salesman told me it would take two to three weeks to get the windows in from Cascade. A few days after I paid my deposit, I was given an approximate date when the windows would arrive at the shop. He also told me that when the windows come in, we would then schedule the appointment. The windows arrived on the exact day he anticipated. My schedule got very busy, so we had to wait two weeks for the appointment. However, Fast Glass was ready to come the next day!On the day of the install, three men came to do the job. They worked quickly and efficiently. There were a couple times I caught some things that they missed (some missed caulking spots, but nothing major). For the most part, they did an outstanding job and all of the windows fit nicely! The crew took about 6.5 hours to complete the project. They left a little more debris than I was happy with. What I saw in the front, they cleaned up quickly, but I had to do a little bit of clean up in the back. That said, for the price, I was fine with picking up a little bit of garbage.I did notice two things after they left. A piece of trimming was missed in the front, and the sliding glass door needed to be caulked around the interior trimming. When I contacted the office they sent someone out the next morning to fix the two problems. No charge and apologies for the trouble. Considering the scope of the job, it was two very minor mishaps.The biggest criticism I have of the entire job, was that I did have a little trouble reaching my sales rep to inform him of the problem. He didn't call me back the first time I called, then again a second time. It was really disappointing to me because Fast Glass had done such an outstanding job all along the way. When he did call back, he was extremely apologetic though and did get it taken care of very quickly. Alls well that ends well.Fast Glass did a great job overall.

Cheapest overall. Did not take much time measuring. Not sure how well the final glass would have looked.

Do use this business for replacing your windshield in your own driveway if you are in the Las Vegas/Boulder City area. I had a heck of a time finding a place that would come out to Boulder City (there are no businesses out there that do this, so we had to look for them in Henderson/Las Vegas) without charging for mileage, but this place was happy to do it. PLUS they came in under the price I was quoted by all the others I found in the area. Fast Glass gave us a choice of windshields. Most of the others I contacted only had one. Fast Glass clearly explained the advantages and disadvantages of each one and actually recommended the cheaper one since this is an older car. You can get an and quot;after marketand quot; windshield cheaper than the one from the manufacturer of your vehicle, in most cases. Some people are afraid they won't fit right or have seal problems. If your car is older, the bugs have been worked out of these after market products. We recommend this choice to save money. We also like the fact that this is a regionally-owned company, unlike most that are national chains where you have to talk to people in another time zone and support their advertising budget. It was absolutely exasperating to Google and quot;Boulder City, NV auto glassand quot; and find 20 or so businesses with local but bogus Boulder City addresses, only to find out you are talking to a call center thousands of miles away in another state. The prices of the insurance referral services for this were ridiculous, as were for the national chains. Fast Glass was just as the name sounds - they were fast and very professional. They came to where we were staying in an RV resort and had no problem finding it. The gentleman worked fast and did a great job, even vacuuming the car and mats and giving us clear instructions on how to let the glass set in over a couple days - keeping the tape on. This is the desert with extreme temperatures, so this was critical. Thanks to Angie's List, we found a great bunch of people to help us at a price lower than all the others. We were very happy with the work and have had no problems with it. We highly recommend them! ext

I used their web form to submit my request for a quote. In my request, I specified the dimensions I wanted and that the edges didn't need to be finished. Pretty simple actually. (I also emailed, called, and submitted requests for quotes to two other vendors. Neither of them ever got back to me.) When the email quote came back, it was clear and I thought the price was fair. The email gave me a number to call so I could schedule the work. I called them on a Friday afternoon. The person who answered the phone had no way to call up the email. Apparently they don't have any kind of reference number or other way to find quotes they've sent out. So I had to repeat my required measurements and even tell them the price they had quoted! I found this a little annoying, but it didn't really affect the process much. The person on the phone was friendly and helpful and told me that I could pick up my mirrors any time after Monday morning. When I stopped by their shop on Monday morning, it was clearly marked and easy to find. The office was clean and professional. They found my order in the system right away and brought my mirrors out from the back. The person helping me even walked out and opened my car door for me since I was carrying the mirrors. All in all, a very pleasant, if simple, experience.

II highly recommend this service. They were pleasant, they did their job, they charged me what they said they would up front. It doesn't get any better than that!

Fast Glass showed up on time for the estimate. We scheduled to work three days later. They showed up on time to do the repair work. Tony was prompt, efficient and professional.

Arrived within time zone, removed old windows, set new windows in place, did finish work, cleaned windows inside and out, caulked new windows inside and out. Replaced curtains. Cleaned up debris around house and took old windows and mini blinds with them when they left. Finished way inside the time they said it would take them. Would recommend them to anyone.

I was able to take the windows out of my house, drive it to their company and within hours I had my windows replaced. I saved a lot of money by taking them to directly to their factory. They do offer to come out to the house as well.

A terrible experience. I had to pay prior to installtion and the company failed to be on time and caused great inconvience to us. Living out of state and trying to work on a schedule was impossible. Their promise date of installtion was not met and caused additional expense and unnecessary travel.

I went on their website and emailed them information about what happened and what I needed done along with some questions early Monday afternoon. They called me approximately one hour later, answered all my questions and really made me feel better as I was stressed out from having to drive with a crack right in front of my eyes. Made an appointment for them to change the windshield the following morning at my place of business. They were pretty much waiting for me in the parking lot when I got there. It was all finished before I knew it. Great customer service both on the phone and in person. My truck and I are very happy!!!!

I described the problem with the window over the phone to the rep at Fast Glass and he said they wouldn't be able to repair the window and quoted me $375 to replace the window. I decided to call another window company to come out who said they could potentially repair the window, but when they arrived they said it would need to be replaced and quoted me $645. I called back Fast Glass and told them I needed the window replaced and asked if they could come out and measure for sizing. I had no problems scheduling and the tech arrived on time and I received the 30 minute call ahead before he arrived, which was nice. To my surprise the tech from Fast Glass asked if I wanted to repair the window instead of replace it. He did indicate it may not last forever, but he suggested it should be fine for normal use. We rarely open this particular window, so it wasn't a problem either way. He had all the parts he needed on his truck and fixed the frame right there. He charged me just the service call, $65 and was done in a little less than an hour. I was definitely impressed that they were able to do what the other company wasn't able to and also that they didn't try and sell me a new window when I clearly was looking to buy one, since that was what I thought I needed. We used the window after his repair and it seems durable and good as new. I'll definitely be calling Fast Glass for any future glass/windows needs and telling my friends about my good experience.

Fast Glass gave an estimate over the phone as I had done a preliminary measurement and described the window well. They still sent a guy to verify the measurements (which I was perfectly happy they did) and see what design there was. Had to make a downpayment of half the estimate on the measurement date and paid the remainder on the install date.

The phone interaction was quick and precise. I was very satisfied with the price. The glass technican was excellent. He cleaned all the residual glass and I was especially impressed when he took the door off and vacuumed everything. It was a quick but thorough process.

Excellent! Saved approximately $100 over my other estimate and fixed my Prius windshild free since I had them both done at the same time (this, alone, saved my another $95). I also used the coupon from Angie's List which saved another $10. Professional. Prompt. The other group I was going to go with could only give me a 4 hour window for coming to my house. These guys gave me a 30 minute window and were right on time! Great warranty. Came to my house so I didn't have to even wait at their shop for the repairs. Would not hesitate to use them again and will highly recommend them to others.

Custom work performed quickly, very well, and for a pittance.

The estimator arrived on time to measure the windows and the installer was also on time. The installer cleaned all the panes of glass in each of the 4 windows and cleaned up after himself as well. I am very pleased.
