Techs' were great. Both installer and quote tech were honest and fast. Problem was with office. I know there were a few holidays (X-mas and NYD), but a job that was quoted as 3-5 business days took over 3 weeks. Was told 2-3 days to receive glass, and that was more like 10 days. On day of install received a call saying glass was not ordered/ received properly. Was told 2-3 more days. Week later I had to call them to ask if glass was in. I was given a Sat 9a-12 window and received a call around 12:15 telling me tech was running several hours late.Spent most my day Sat waiting. I know I was not the biggest job, but...

Service was prompt and professional, we would definitely use them again.

A worker was dispatched to measure the two windows and stated that both had to ordered, approx. 4-5 business days. Received a call saying the windows were in and scheduled for replacement on the 12th. Three workers (Rick, Dennis and a third) responded to begin the tasks and before I knew it, the new windows were in, all signs of them being here was gone. The large window required a cleaning after installation and Rick continued cleaning until he was completely satisfied the appearance. These guys were awesome! Would definitely use their services again!!

The installer came promptly on appointment time for estimate and installation. They were running early and called to come early even. Very professional person, and personable, too. I would like to give 5 stars, but one of the weather strip on the glass was not cut right and kept falling off. I think if I call them back, they would be willing to come fix it. It was such a small thing, so my husband made a small cut and put back in the place. If the weather strip did not have a minor issue, I would give 5 stars!

Called Davis on 12/2/14 to board up a very large section of a shattered sliding glass door on second floor in Las Vegas. It was raining and the door is in my bedroom, so I was very pleased they were out within 2 hours and did a very professional job of boarding up the open area. Glass replacement had to be ordered due to the size, but the glass was replaced within 3 days of board-up (on 12/5). Rick and his assistants did a great job, were very professional, answered all questions and cleaned up the area (inside and out) before leaving. Per my insurance company, the price was reasonable. I will use Davis again and won't hesitate to recommend them to others.

First, they needed to come and quote the job - showed up in the timeframe promised. Called ahead to say on the way. Quoted 2 broken windows. Took deposit of 50% to get job going. Returned 1 week later to install glass in the timeframe promised. Again, called ahead to confirm on the way. While replacing 1 of the windows, discovered other pane also needed replacing, and was able to cut the glass and replace on the spot. Took about 1 hour for all 3 windows. Showed up when promised. Did the job promised. No problems after the job was done. What more can you ask for? Did not shop on price, went only with Angie's list ratings.

Let's get to the point: you have a need; a service to be performed in fixing a glass/mirror issue. To deal with a company that demonstrates through their actions (not words) that they can be trusted. They are reputable (not attempting to overcharge) and professional (performing their trade expeditiously). You want it done right the first time; and at a reasonable cost. They were very punctual. They were out there, out here same day, and fixed the broken windows. In fact they have to custom make the window. The guys that came out were very courteous. They cleaned up. They were just great.

I initially thought I would have to replace a window that had broken glass and would not open correctly. I got a quick email quote from Carol of $245 for a new window and we set a date for an on site visit to measure. I was given a time frame (9am-12n) that the technician would arrive with assurance that I would get a call within 30 minutes of the arrival. Carol did call to tell me it would likely be shortly after noon, but in fact Dean arrived before noon. He advised me that I did not need a new window, only replacement glass and that he could fix the opening issue with some pins. The revised quote was for $160, even though I thought the window at $245 was fair. The time frame for getting the parts was 3-5 business days and sure enough Carol called to set the return appt. within that window. Once again I got a 3 hour window and a 30 min arrival call. Dean was here within 20 minutes of the call. He completed his work in under 45 minutes. This was a most refreshing experience: fair price, honest advice about what was needed and prompt service all around. I highly recommend this business.

They never called me. I followed up. They'd apparently forgotten to order. Said they'd order and fix the window the next week. Same thing, no call, no follow up. Called today, 1 month from original appointment and now Cindy tells me they can't get the part and she "doesn't know what to do". Says it's an unusual part (my house is 25 years old). Not sure when she was going to tell me that. I asked her to send me the part and I'd go elsewhere. Very disappointing from a vendor on AL with such high ratings.

I had used Davis in 2011 to replace 5 broken windows when I first bought the home, and again in 2012 to replace to non-opening bedroom windows with double hung sash windows. (Don't know how Pulte was able to pass inspection in 2005 when the house was built without an opening window in an upstairs bedroom.). Mike was the installer who did the measurments for Davis and who also did the install. He showed up on time, and was very professional. Did the job very efficiently with just one assistant. One nice touch that shows their integrity - the job estimate was based on needing 3 men to install the very large Lexan shield, but they were able to do it with just two and dropped the final price by $200 to reflect that. I highly recommend Davis Glass & Mirror.

Davis Glass went well above and beyond expectations. The project was much more involved than originally expected due to plantation shutters that complicated the removal of the broken window. Davis glass found a way to repair the window without disturbing my plantation shutters. During this effort, the unbroken half of the window was damaged, and Davis Glass stepped up and replaced it also without ever mentioning that this doubled their costs for materials. Despite a price quote that anticipated a routine window sash replacement, Davis Glass completed the entire service within their original quoted price. Their professionalism and commitment to quality service are remarkable and I highly recommend this company.

Dean of Davis Glass came and gave me an estimate for the replacement of a window pane. He gave me a senior discount of 5% and asked for l/2 of payment which I gave him. He was courteous, friendly and seemed competent. When he came later install the new window pane, he accidentally cracked the new window pane. He taped the cracked new pane and reinstalled it for temporary use. He said he'd return with a new pane (no charge) . When he came with another new pane, he installed it correctly and it appears to be working well. I kpaid the other 1/2 for a total of $176.88. Overall I give Dean & Davis Glass a B rating and would recommend them.

Everything went very smoothly. They showed up right about on time....3 men as there were quite a few windows to do. I have to say, when you KNOW what you're doing, they do make it look easy, I just know it's not something I was either willing or wanting to do. I like things done right and well,....all of which were done. It's just now starting to get warmer, so as it gets hotter, I will have a much better idea if this was worth the investment. I hope it is!!!

Excellent. First went to this company based on Angies list reviews. I was more than happy. Went in on a Saturday, they are open, ordered the glass and was not sure about type, bezel, and all the stuff. Very knowledgeable and gave us great advise and price. I was tempting to pick up the glass in my car to bring home when ready and they highly recommended that they deliver and install for 50.00. That was MORE than worth it because I am sure it was huge, would have had a lot of vibration in my car and they installed it nicely with bumpers for us... Great stuff. Then, I wanted security film for our house windows to protect/ deter against break-ins. Nancy came out to measure and give a quote. It was in our ballpark and she gave us a great price, peace of mind and did not steer us to the most expensive product, but the one most effective for us. I felt really secure in the information she was giving. I highly recommend them for everything!

They were supposed to replace the plastic window and they let me replaced it but I'm not there. The plastic one wasn't replaced so I had to let them go back but it took a time for them to go back.

I really liked them. It is a heavy metal door and now it became hard to open and close again. I called them back today and they are coming tomorrow. They are reliable and they are reasonable. They do what they say and they are trustworthy. Their prices are reasonable for what they do.

I had called and gotten an estimate several months prior to having the work done and they honored the original quote. They replied promptly when I emailed them and were happy to put me on the schedule several weeks ahead of time. He did the work quickly and it looks great!

They were very prompt and boarded up the window for us until we could get the glass.

They were quick to come out and quote my job and were very easy to work with. The original installation of the shower door was done incorrectly, so rather than just repair what I asked they suggested they redo it correctly so that the same issue would not occur again. They also tightened the shower arm so the large door is sturdy now. The price was very reasonable and they were able to order the parts and install within a few days. I would definitely use them again.

Replaced two windows while being swarmed by bees they had riled up. Did excellent work. Highly recommend.

They were very good and came out when they said. They gave an estimate right away and did the work promptly. We did notice a small issue afterwards and they did come back to fix the issue.

After having the windows inspected and measured, the window were ordered. Later on I found a broken mirror in the bathroom and called in measurements. About a week later things were ready to go and an appt was made for installation. Men showed up on time, removed the bathroom mirror and replaced it. Removed the broken windows and replaced them. It appears that everything was completed professionally and good. Could not see any problems at all. Am happy with their work and would hire again.

They came out and installed the product in a very timely and professional fashion. Everything was great with installation. Two weeks after installation, someone ended up breaking into our home through one of the windows. Immediately upon calling Davis Glass, they came out and put in replacement glass and a new screen - at no cost to us. They applied new film to the new window pane and reinforced all the existing film that had already been applied. Although the situation was very ironic, Davis was great in working with us throughout the entire incident.
