Response from Compudoc Computer Repair
Hello, diagnostic work does take time. I am the most experienced tech in Las Vegas with 19 years in the business, and even after 300,000 repairs in 19 years, I STILL cannot just glance at a computer at tell you on the spot whats wrong. Many times a computer will be running slow, but that computer wont come out and tell you why. There are many many possibilities, such as overheating, power supply voltage issues, failing hard disk, viruses , malware ect. So we must run our diagnostic tools to find out why. After our tools report , then we explain to you our client what the problem is and the remedy, and give you an opportunity to have us do the repair. In this situation, you chose not to have us repair it. We respect your decision. Are we supposed to then just leave without getting paid for our time? As a consumer myself I reserve my "F" rating for the poorly run businesses out there or businesses that are out to cheat people, and that we are not. We came to you, and on time , and performed the services you asked us to, (and that was to find out whats wrong, and we told you, and we were 100% correct). Much like a doctor that has 15 years of schooling, he/she will run a battery of tests on you to find out whats wrong, and charges thousands of dollars to do so, then he/she will take weeks to report the results back to you. If you dont like what they tell you, will you then slur him/her on the internet too?
