A TRULY honest computer repair shop that cares only about making their customers happy, with a small group of handpicked technicians that LOVE what they do.That's us: Compudoc. Established in 1995 out of a small condo, Compudoc has grown over the past 20 years to have multiple commercial locations that we own on major Las Vegas roads. Having your computer go down, no matter who you are is always frustrating, when you need somebody to fix it or evaluate your best options, call us. You WILL talk to the most skilled technicians in the valley that will give you the correct information and solution for your unique situation the FIRST TIME, AND continue to support you after the work is done. If you think customer service, integrity, and quality is everything, come to Compudoc. We will NOT look down on you for your lack of knowledge like other geeks. Description of Work: This person behaved in a very suspicious manner, didn't answer my questions, solved my major problem, and left me with a few more in its place. He took several pictures of information that he brought up on my computer monitor, he sat and wrote copious notes in his tablet. When I asked why, he said it was to help him write his report later. I called an acquaintance in another state who is an IT Manager, and he said he never heard of such a thing, and advised me to change all my passwords. I feel I should get the additional $76 back. Never again! This is the second Angie's List "special" that I have bought and they were both disastrous. I'm not sure this whole Angie's List is such a good thing.

I would find it more suspicious if a repair person came out, did the work and wrote nothing down, and gave you no paperwork. Every professional repair company documents the work they perform for you or they should. Please rethink your review. If you have any questions you can call any of our locations and a tech will sit and answer them for you. But a low rating because we document the work performed?

Description of Work: We responded to an offer of one hour of on-site computer service for $49. The tech stayed for several hours, trying to get the printer to scan. He stayed so long that our $49 bill skyrocketed to $255!! If he had told me that he was staying to make the printer scan and it would cost me an extra $200 for him to do it...I would've told him to leave. I could've bought a new printer for far less than the 200 extra bucks we paid him.

Im sorry the price came in higher than thought. Truth is we never know what we are getting into. Ive quoted jobs for 3 hours, and then gone out there and its a 15 minute job and charged a trip fee. Ive also told people I think I can do it in an hour and its taken 2 or 3 hours. We just dont know until we get there.
