Mag is a Master Clocksmith. He's fair, professional, and will take a personal interest in giving your clock the best care and maintenance possible. I highly recommend him!

He fixed the clock within 20 minutes and showed us how to fix it in the future. He did a great job at a terrific price.

The guy fixed my cuckoo clock. I couldn’t find anybody to fix the old cuckoo clocks because it was manufactured in Germany. He fixed it without ordering the parts for me since the parts were unavailable. He did an excellent job. He was clean and very polite. He gave me options. He came out to my house and his price was reasonable. I paid $45 for the job. He came right away and the clock is still working. I will consider using him in the future.

Arrived at my house, and immediately set to work on the clock. The cuckoo didn't work, neither did the dancers. Explained to me that the company went out of business years ago, and new inner workings were not available. He took it apart, cleaned it as best he could. He put it back together, placed it back on the wall and leveled it for me. Told me the hands were very fragile, and not to mess with them. Warned me that it might not work and would need to be cleaned by a laser since parts are not available and told be the estimate of 200 if this needed to be done. It worked when he finished! It cuckooed and the dancers danced. The bird is still a little sluggish, but am very happy that it works at all! He put two small marks on the wall to make sure it was level and keeping time correctly. Am very happy it works. Will call him again when it needs to be professionally cleaned.

All went just fine. Mag arrived and started working on the grandmother clock -- had not been working for some time and then started on the banjo clock. He worked back and forth between the two till they were working. He gave us some instructions about them. He had another appointment following us. He requested we let him know how they are working after a few days. The banjo clock was $45.00 and the grandmother $75.00. They both should have major overhaul in his shop which will be more expensive.

The other reviews I read said that Mag truly an old world craftsmam, I couldn't agree more. Simply put my experience was fantastic. He knew specifically my antique mantle clock by asking only a few questions over the phone. He gave me an exact qoute, came to the house the next day and completed the repair in around 1 hour. He was full of very interesting information regarding the tuning and use of my clock. He took the time to explain to me how to fine tune the clock after he was done and is happy to answer questions in the future via phone. He even sold me the correct key to wind the various springs since mine was missing and had been replaced by a substitue key somewhere in it's past. I cannot recommend this service highly enough.

Mag schedules his work according to when he is on your side of town. I was fortunate that he was already scheduled on my side within a couple of days of me calling him. He arrived a bit earlier than expected, but that was fine for me. Once he arrived, he was very courteous and professional, and gave me quite the education on clocks and the care of mine. He came prepared and got to the job immediately. It took some time for him to clean and lubricate the inner workings and to properly educate me on the care and use of the clock. It was a delight to hear the chimes again. Everything went well, the clock was chiming and keeping time. But after about two hours (after Mag left) the chimes stopped. I called Mag to tell him of the problem and he was appropriately concerned. We discussed what I should try and nothing worked. He called us the next day to inquire of the situation and made arrangements to come by and look at the clock again. This time my husband was home and Mag gave him the same lessons on caring for the clock. Mag is very knowledgeable on clocks, rather fascinating. Anyhow, this time the chimes were fixed and we've been enjoying the clock since. As an addendum, recently the chimes were off by a quarter hour. Due to the education Mag gave my husband, my husband was able to correct the problem. We've enjoyed the clock ever since. Mag did inform us that we will eventually need to get a complete overhaul (ultrasonic cleaning) on the clock in the future, and he realizes the price is high. Hopefully he will still be in the business when that time comes. For now the price was very reasonable, especially for the depth of service we received.

An amazing, "old world" craftsman. They don't make them like this anymore. Perhaps a bit high in price, but actually well worth it if you have valuable, antique clocks and only want the best for them. Mag knows everything there is to know about clocks, and explained everything he was doing to my husband as he went along. Fascinating. Highly recommend.

Outstanding. He comes to the house, after calling to make sure you will be home. He is an old world craftsman, who has over 30 years of experience. He was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonable.
