Description of Work: Came to my home and performed a leak inspection on my pool. Discovered the source of the leak and provided an estimate. Once I asked them to fix the leak, they came out the next day and fixed the leak. | |They were very professional and courteous and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: repaired water softer water line in the garage wall. Removed drywall, fixed the leek, cleaned up all. Eddie was great very personal and professional. Explained the problem. Could not ask for anyone better. Will always use this company when ever I have a problem again. Will recommend to all my friends and family.

Description of Work: This actually occurred March 2010. Our drain in the kitchen (for sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher cracked and began leaking into the kitchen and family room under the flooring (pergo floating) and leaching into the drywall. Farmer's insurance contacted American Leak Detection to come in and find the leak and fix the plumbing. It took them a couple of hours to find the leak. They then scheduled to come in a fix the issue and that took about three hours (they had to cut a hole in the stucco to get to the broken stack). They did some cleanup of the wood around the leak and then came back and patched the stucco, came back later to paint the stucco. After that Farmer's determined that the kitchen base cabinets and walls needed to be gutted and rebuilt and a pony wall that supported the kitchen needed to be destroyed and rebuilt as well. American was great. Very professional and punctual. Exuded a confidence and knowledge of how to go about finding the leak and making repairs. I really felt comfortable with them and I would recommend them to anyone looking to find a leak.

Description of Work: The add said $295 cut to $200 for the service. The service took less than 20 minutes to perform so the service is WAY OVER PRICED!!!!!!!!! The person did a professional job but felt ripped off. Only cost me $75 to fix the identified leak by another provider who spent an hour.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon ($225) through Angie's list for leak detection after being advised to do so by the water company. They found the leak in less than 20 minutes. It was in the front yard coming from the main. They scheduled the work to replace the line quickly. I chose replacement rather than repair as there were large trees involved. The yard looks like it did before. No one would know it was done.

Called American Leak Detection to come out to find it since we didn't see anything obvious. Elvis was very nice & helpful & discovered that our softener has a malfunctioning valve. He even gave us a discount on the quoted price.

Description of Work: Detected water main leak under our private cul-de-sac. Unlike a previous company we hired years ago for a different leak in this same pipe in a different spot (which left us with a 4 ft by 3 foot asphalt hole to patch), or the 1st company we called that could not even find the leak, these guys are ACCURATE! Result was a small 1 1/2 foot hole in the asphalt. They came back promptly as possible in a day or two to dig asphalt, repair pipe & fill hole. Came back in a few days to cold patch asphalt. We have used American Leak Detection before & would not use anybody else for leak detection--these guys are THE BEST!

Description of Work: Confirmed my suspicion that I had a water main leak in the front yard (no visible water or wetness). The service was thorough and professional. They gave me an estimate to replace the water main. After getting more estimates from angieslist plumbers, I am using a different company for the replacement.

Description of Work: I placed a call to American Leak Detection on Saturday, 11/8/14, and had to leave a voicemail message. I requested service due to a suspected pool leak. As of 11/10/14, they had not returned my call. I then completed their online service request via their website. Still no response. On 11/12/14, I called another service provider (Accurate Leak Detection) and received an immediate response. Ultimately, American Leak Detection did call me back, but not until Sunday, 11/16/14... Over a full week later! Perhaps my experience was uncommon, but it amazes me that a leak detection company can remain in business when they wait over a week to return customer phone calls.

Description of Work: Repaired a pipe leak under my pool deck and a valve on the pool equipment. The final cost was the same as the estimate. They had to come back a second time because valve repair was not working properly.

Description of Work: For that price, they pressure tested the pool lines and found no leaks, but have to come back to check for structural damage. The service man was wonderful.

Description of Work: They found the leak in my pool autofill and did the repairs to fix it. Was happy with the work but it did costs a lot and I had to hire someone else to repair the concrete that had to be cut out.
