Description of Work: I am very disappointed to not give Air Zone a much higher rating. They are very nice, prompt and competent seeming. Unfortunately, one of my air conditioning units was not working well. I found them on Angie's List with a$49 special a/c tune up including a pound of freon. First, one of the sons, Mike, came out tested, found a freon "leak? But, instead of one pound of Freon proceeded to "fill" the system with ELEVEN pounds at $55/pound. So instead of $49 I ended up with $550 (-$49) billing. I was shocked. Then a few days later, the a/c still didn't work. Called and they promptly sent out older son, Jacob. Very nice, competent and thorough, refound the leak and again filled the system. No charge. But, some days later, no a/c. I called once again and the receptionist, Jacob's wife professed that they wanted the customer to be satisfied. Once again Jacob came out and topped off the Freon. (no charge) But, he said that there was an "in the walls" leak that was beyond their ability to fix and that I should call around for a contractor who could find and repair that kind of leak. I really like Jacob and feel he is very competent as is Air Zone. But, I have spent $500 and apparently still do not have my system in complete working order. I can understand the problem. But as a user of a/c repair services, I am left completely frustrated and perhaps needing to find another contractor (he had no referrals). So. Frustration. Undetermined outcome. More $$ needed for a different contractor. I want to like this family business and give them high marks. But, how can I under these circumstances. Hopefully someone else will give high marks and have a much more complete and better out come. Sorry Air Zone.

Description of Work: $59 for AC tune up and $180 to replace capacitor, to add 2 lbs of refrigerant and to fix leaks. We checked with 2 other contractors before and they both recommended expensive repairs and did not tell us the real problems for the AC. As out of town landlords, we are target for dishonest contractors, and we love honest contractors like AIR ZONE COOLING AND HEATING INC.

Description of Work: Had to install a new air conditioner system. Service was excellent and done in a few hours. I would definitely recommend this company.

Description of Work: I bought 2 deals for the system inspection, cleaning, and 1lb of freon for my central air units. Michael was able to come out in only 3 days, which was great so we didn't have to wait. He was very polite and a positive guy. He inspected and cleaned both units, which are from 2005, and confirmed we didn't even need any freon! There were plenty of parts that are starting to show their wear and he said they will eventually go our, but he didn't recommend that we swap them now. It was great to get real advice and not be sold something we didn't need. We will definitely call him again. Everyone should have a good "guy" and he's definitely now our AC guy.
