He arrived and began the service call. He told my husband that it would be 40.00 more due to the number of stations we have on our property. OK he agreed to pay extra and did.. The man said they would send us a detailed sprinkler evaluation and I am still waiting on it to arrive (Been over a month now). We definitely will not use him again because he did not complete what was promised in the Deal and during his visit. So I did not get what I paid for which was a sprinkler evaluation.

I would absolutely recommend this company. I just wouldn't recommend the Big Deal we purchased. It seems expensive for the service covered. We purchased a Big Deal for a "sprinkler tune up." They were on time, came as scheduled and very professional. They talked to us about our sprinkler system and problem areas. They helped us set the zone timer. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend the company. There were problems identified with our sprinkler system in terms of missing sprinkler heads and a few other minor problems that I expected to be included in the tune up. They were not covered. We will use this company when we do the larger repairs they recommended.

We just moved to Vegas area from out of state and needed a system check and explanation of the watering needs for the area. David was very knowledgeable and helpful in bringing me up to speed on how to run the system and explaining the watering needs for Las Vegas. There were a couple of repairs necessary and he completed those on the first visit in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Overall very satisfied.

We had set a time for when they would come out and they were 30 min. late. There were 3 workers. they checked the main valves and found no leaks. They then turned on each zone and made sure they were working. I thought that they world check the emitters at each plant to make sure they were getting enough water but they did not. I told the head man that I felt our water bill was too high. I was told that the timer might be watering 3 times a day and not 2.. While he adjusted the timer the other 2 workers sat in the shade. I felt that I over paid. They were here a total of 15 min. That is $236.00. an hour and that was with the discount.. A bit high for sprinkler repair

Fantastic! He explained everything and showed me how I can make adjustments myself. He replaced the damaged heads and pipe and added Pressure Reducing Valves. My bill went down by almost $300.00 I highly recommend this company.

They gave me a window of time and was with in that window

I researched them last month and I used them within a day or too. The servicemen was the owner of the company. He came out with his son. It is a family run business. They were fine. The pricing seemed fair and we liked them.

A Discount Sprinklers were good and I liked them. They were professional and had good communication.

They did not perform the services but referred us to someone who could. We appreciated the honesty and the referral.

Excellent. Disconnedcted the system and taped insulation around pipe attached to exterior wall.

They never called to set up an appointment.

He arrived during the time frame he had given me. He made a thorough inspection of the sprinkler valves and explained in detail how the system was working --and working overtime. He reset the timer and scripted for me how to change the settings as the seasons change, detailing the days/run times/ and start times. He also switched out a malfunctioning emitter. He and his workers were polite and personable. Would use them again and recommend them highly.

We had a leak in the irrigation system and a $300 water bill - but no idea how to fix it. Dave fixed the problem, walked my husband through the issue and priced the repair before he did anything. He was very prompt (I called on Sat, came on Mon), courteous and professional. Will definitely use A Discount Sprinklers again.

I have used them twice. They were on time. They did the work right. I have nothing negative about them. It has just been an overall pretty good experience with them.

-called and David came by and gave me an est. -made an apt. -he checked all of the old sprinklers and timers -completed the repair -taught me how to set the timers, gave me advise on the amount of time needed for the tress -he and his sons are very polite, professional and know their business David is going to come back in the Spring to clean up my rocks(ha) they were great to work with!! I first contacted them by email when I bought their inspection deal. I didn't get a response so I called them. Once I contacted them, they were punctual and professional. The price was reasonable. However, when I didn't return the owner's call regarding approving their proposed price and work, he immediately he gave me an attitude on the phone. When I pointed out that I had initially contacted him via email and didn't get a response, he told them email address wasn't valid. I pointed out that that's a problem on their end. I'm the consumer, I just use the contact info they placed on Angie's List. Aside from the attitude, they were fine. They also offer a year warrantee on their work. I'm going to have to take advantage of that, since one of areas they fixed still has water pooling. What I appreciated about Mr. Wheatcraft was he didn't try to push a new sprinkler system on me. He worked with me and gave me a reasonable price and fixed all the leaks. Hard to find honest people in this business. When I did contact him regarding water pooling in our yard, he came out immediately and contacted us with his findings. I found him professional and honest and would definitely hire him again or refer him to our friends. Update, we asked him to come back when we continued to have a leak. He told us our water main was leaking. We paid him more money to fix the water main. He told us he fixed it and left a hole in the ground. We still have a pool of water in the hole and he hasn't come back to correct or refill the hole. I will still recommend him but with some disclaimers as to follow up. Update, I won't recommend him at all. We continue to have leaks. I just paid another landscaping company to make 2 repairs of leaks that he should've caught the first time. However, he didn't catch it the first time, nor the second time. I'm not using him again.

I purchased a deal on Angie's for a sprinkler tune for $66. He was punctual and professional. He told me there was no power in the front yard. Found GFI; reset it, set clock, rebuilt 1 valve in backyard and fixed broken pipe in flower bed in backyard. He charged me 200. for this plus the $66 I already paid Angie's. The next morning my back yard was flooded and the water was stuck on. So I called him back. He came out very quickly and looked the situation over. There was another broken pipe and the valve had debris in it that wasn't allowing the valve to close. So he put in new pipe and valve. He is very nice and made me feel like he was giving a deal by charging me another $200.00 . I'm not so sure but the job is done and everything is working. I'm not to happy that they left dirt all over my concrete and didn't clean up.

Dave Wheatcraft and his crew were fantastic! They came promptly at the time they said they would and made permanent repairs to fix the problem in a matter of minutes. Not only were they prompt, they came on the 4th of July holiday. We had expected the repair(s) to be much more costly but Dave gave us a very reasonable price to fix the problem(s). This company provides superior service. We will definitely use this firm again for any irrigation system repairs or to install a new system in the future.

Great. I'm using about a 3rd less water and yet my yards appearance has improved in a short time with more improvement to come as everthing gets better coverage with lower water bills. I have had estimates up to $7000,00 to just redo my entire system scrapping the old system from other outfits. Glad i bought Angie's deal of the day instead!!

I purchased a big deal for A Discount Sprinklers They didn't charge me more than the big deal. I mean, they had other suggestions but it was the same charge because I opted not to. They did the job. I guess I expected a different manner of fertilizing. I fertilize my yard before. They were okay.

It was okay. I would not recommend them. They didn't do anything, they just told me the sprinkler error and it cost $50, they just really came out and told me that, that's all.

It went very well. The person who owned the company came out and fixed me up, right there in the day. He did a great job. He was excellent and easy to get hold of. It was a big deal purchase plus I had him do some additional work.

I purchased the big deal. Things went very good with them. They charged me on top of the big deal. They were thorough and they got it done quickly. They came in when they were supposed to. We set an appointment time and they were there.
