I believe the gentleman's name was Larry and he showed up right on time. He asked me to move the cars from the garage so that he could inspect the doors and perform any required adjustments. Within a matter of a minute or so, he had identified the problem with the double garage door as being the spring binding. He made the necessary adjustments and now the door operates smoothly without any noise. Wow, what a relief. He asked me how old the doors were and I told him 9 years. He said that the single springs are typically good for 5-8 years and that I would need to eventually replace the spring when it broke. I told him that I would prefer to go ahead and replace the spring before it broke and I will have them come back next month to replace the spring. Larry told me that the double door had a single spring and that he recommended I put a double spring on the door. He said that if one broke, the other would still open the door. I liked the advice and that is what I am going to do next month. Great service at a reasonable price with a better outcome than I expected. I also received a very nice card this week thanking me for my business. Most definitely, a company that is focused on customer satisfaction and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I really like those people. Larry is the owner. He is really very good. I am going to have him come to do service once a year. I paid about $55 a garage to do the service. It is a very, very good company. I will absolutely use them again.

We called to make the appt on Friday at 3:00. The serviceman was to be here between 4-5 on Monday. I received a phone call at 3:30 to say that he was right on time. He arrived at 4:00 sharp. He looked at the opener and replaced a gear. He lubricated the whole door at all of the joints. He was only here about 20 minutes. I would DEFINITELY call this company again and I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing garage door or opener repairs. This is a family run company and they care about their customers.

Larry is super friendly and helpful, honest and experienced. He explained everything throughly to me and did the work quickly, as he had the correct part with him.

They were great. Juanita called to remind me that they were coming and at what time. The serviceman called during the hour window to tell me he was on his way and arrived within 15 minutes. He fixed the spring in less than 20 minutes. While he was there I got two extra garage door openers from him. The total price was less than the estimate for just the new spring with the company contacted first.

I called to make an appointment for the following day. The owner and an assistant arrived on time and fixed the broken spring promptly without any problems. They were courteous, but seemed a little surprised when I gave him the $10 off coupon from Angie's List.

I called, scheduled a date, they came on time , fixed the problem, were quick and professional. It was late in the day on New Year's Evee and they came withuot complaint.

Called on Tuesday and scheduled on Thursday. Juanita was very helpful and friendly on the phone when scheduling. Larry arrived promptly as scheduled. He was professional and courteous. He was also very knowledgeable. Did exactly what was necessary plus more. All is working fine now. Had terrible experiences with Martin Door service techs previously when under warranty and decided to try Upright Garage Door after finding them on Angies List. Will definitely use Upright Garage Door in the future for all garage door services. Always nice to do business with knowledgeable and professional people.

Called them based on the reviews here. They were able to fit me in at the last minute right before the holiday. Larry showed up on time and was very professional. I highly recommend using Upright.

Spectacular. I called Monday morning and they were able to schedule me that afternoon, which I thought was great, since Monday is probably their busy day because they're down on the weekend. Ryan arrived within the time window they gave me. He diagnosed the problem instantly. I was worried the problem might be the logic board, but he immediately knew it was a problem with the remote sensors on the door frame. He quickly identified a wire which was making intermittent contact or was shorting. He fixed that and the door worked. He also lubricated the door and spring. I'd done that, but he knew exactly where the squeak was coming from, and soon the squeak was gone. The light had never worked on the opener. He asked for an incandescent bulb (rather than the compact fluorescent I had installed), and sure enough, it worked. (The housing doesn't work with the CFs, it turns out.) Needless to say, the guy who installed this unit a couple of years ago didn't know that trick. If all this wasn't enough, I had mentioned Angie's list to Juanita, who took my call this morning. She said she'd tell the rep to give me the $10 discount, and sure enough, he did - without me needing to prompt it. Ryan was friendly, professional, and informative. From now on, he's my garage door guy. Should be yours, too.

I had no idea who to select to repair a broken spring on our garage door. I did some searching online to understand what was involved and after reading the reviews on Angies List decided to call Upright Garage Door. We knew from their website and their voicemail that they don't do weekend/holiday calls so no surprise when we called on Labor Day and got their voicemail. We left a message and got a response the next morning and they were able to work us in the same day. I believe it is just one person (Larry) that does the work, he's been in the business for a while and knew exactly what he was doing. He showed up on time, even though it was later in the day, and with no fuss went to work immediately. Within 30 minutes he had it fixed and everything operating correctly (actually better than it had for months). His price was very reasonable right up front without any annoying negotiation. Finally, he told us that if we have any problems at all with the install to give him a call and he'd be out to take care of it as he stands behind the parts he installs and the work he performs. I would call him again with any issues we had with our garage door or opener, and I would definitely refer him to any friend needing help.

Excellent experience, especially here in Vegas where there are so many crooks, scammers, and/or lazy service providers. Before I started looking for a garage door repair service, I researched it on the internet. I found this website which details (by a mechanical engineer) how to repair/replace a garage door spring (http://www.truetex.com/garage.htm). He gave detailed information on the process, and on what to look out for when hiring a repair service. Next, I went to Angie's list & found these guys after reading the reviews of some other service companies. Informed by research, I realized some "positive" reviews where not genuine from some of the "top" listed companies. I narrowed it down to 2: Upright & All Access. Juanita at Upright answered the phone; got v.m. w/ All Access. Juanita called her husband (and co-owner) to see if he could squeeze me in & he did. He came earlier than promised and performed the work at the exact price promised. No upselling, substitutions, or other gimmicks. Did the work as promised & door works better than new!

I phoned the office to schedule a repair and they were able to squeeze my appt into the end of the same day. I was told they would be at my home between 330-5pm, they showed at 4:15pm and went right to work. Both representatives were neat, well kept, polite, and accommodating. The problem was identified and repaired, they cleaned up after themselves leaving the area neat and clean and then went on their way. Overall, I am very happy with the service I received and was treated professionally and cordially by all.

On Wednesday morning the garage door wouldn't open, and upon checking I discovered a broken door spring. Adjusting the upward force to the maximum allowed the door to open and my wife's car to be extracted. After calling around, I decided to go with Upright Garage Door even though the earliest appointment I could get was for late Monday afternoon. As there was no emergency, this was acceptable to me. On Monday morning I received a call offering to come earlier. The technician arrived shortly thereafter and got right to work. He soon finished and informed me that the main shaft bearing was missing and had most probably never been installed. The work was done for the estimated cost plus $20 for the bearing. The door has never operated better even when new!
