Description of Work: Put in a shower doors. I purchased shower door for my second bathroom but did not want to deal with installing these. Rudy and his partner showed up on time and spent about two hours installing these doors. There have not been any issues with these because they did an excellent job. My home is only a couple of years old but if any issues start to come up, Silver Desert Handy Man will be at the top of my list to contact.

Description of Work: R& R two fausets. Took a little longer than I thought but all went well. Impress me because I had a leak and they came back late in the evening the same day and took care of it.

Description of Work: Our backyard wrought iron fencing spanning the length of our property was rotted out on all 11 posts at the base. Rudolf and Lee had to remove the cap stones on the block wall to remove the support plates underneath, cut the rod iron posts and weld on new pieces to new plates. Subsequently, they reinstalled the cap stones with mortar. There work ethic is excellent and the quality of workmanship perfect. The fencing is seamless and there is no evidence that it has been repaired. I highly recommend them! I will be using them at our home in Tournament Hills as well as other properties in the future.

Description of Work: Rudy fabricated a beautiful white wrought iron gate to replace an old wooden one. He professionally did many other handman jobs but the gate was the best of all I would most definitly call on Ruday again and recommend him to my friends for reliable, cost-efficient work.

Description of Work: Had a VERY large wall mounted TV that needed to be taken down. Two individuals showed up on time, examined the Mounting brackets, got the tools they needed and got right to work. They were very careful and considerate of everything else in the room..They completed the task in short order. At all times, they were polite and professional. I would use them again for a variety of things.

Description of Work: Installed two new spigots on patio and entrance; installed automatic wall light timer for outdoor garage lights. Installed 3 light switches.

Description of Work: Quickly and efficiently completed the tasks I had originally listed of changing ceiling located air filters, replacing batteries in all the ceiling located smoke alarms, and replaced/repaired rear mounting on under the built in oven drawer. When they finished with time to spare, they asked if there was anything I'd like done in addition. Well, one of the toilet tank bolts was loose and I noticed a dripping in the morning on 7/23/12. They looked in, saw the problem, had bolts of the correct size and replaced all the bolts. No more "drips" at our house. My husband and I were impressed with the work efficiency, quality of work, and professional/friendly manner in which everything was accomplished.

Description of Work: I first found Silver Desert Handy Man on Angie's List with the daily special. He did a fabulous job and I was extremely pleased. Since then, I have used him numerous times for several projects - from projects as small as repairing a kitchen drawer, to changing light bulbs in hard to reach areas, putting safety bars in the bathtub area, to projects as large as making custom iron security doors for my unusually sized French doors. As a single woman living alone, I need a handy man frequently that I can trust. I totally trust this vendor and have nothing but praise. The price is right, the service is of the highest quality, and if that's not enough, he's a very nice person!
