Description of Work: The first attempt to fix the deadbolt on our double entry doors to work smoothly and reliably was less than 100%, but the company got the right specialist out who completed the work perfectly. He made a point educating us on how the doors and lock work and showed us how he tuned the strike plate and other components to work correctly.

Please keep in mind that although some of the keys we make are available for less money at the big box stores, sometimes you can get under-trained employees making keys. We cannot try to compete with the pricing structure of the big box stores, but when you come to our family owned shop we try to provide more efficient, personalized service, and you are getting your keys copied by employees that cut keys all day long. We feel that our pricing structure is competitive and believe that our quality of service and commitment to our customers is worth a slightly higher price.

I called them today at around 11am for a NON-emergency service call. A technician was promised between noon and 2 pm. The technician called 10 minutes before his arrival to confirm the appointment. He arrived arround 12:30 and completed his work within 15 minutes.
Description of Work: Had a sticking front door lock. He was able to determine that the lock was over 20 years old, and the parts had become worn and dirty. He cleaned and rekeyed the lock and replaced the bolt mechanism.

I thought it was great. My experience in the store was good. The guy came out and installed it. He was very good. They didn't try to pressure me into getting something different. I saw a safe there that I liked so I got that. They said that they could set it up when it's good for me. They came out and they were here right at the beginning of the timeframe they gave me. They installed it without any problems and that was it.

Worker arrived on time and performed the task with no supervision. He also tightened all door knobs and explained what type of lubrication to use on door locks. Job was in line with estimate on the phone.
Description of Work: Had a total of 7 doors rekeyed. Also had 4 keys created right then and there. Great service by an insured and licensed vendor. In researching vendors this is one area where you need to make sure the companies are not a scam. Readd BBB reports on some of the companies operating in Las Vegas area. We were very pleased with Green Valley Lock and Safe.
