Computer Medics

I called the company and set me up for the very next day. That was the first good thing. The next day they called to notify my they had had a cancellation and did I wish to move up the appointment. Of course I did and he (Mike) was right on time. Went to work immediately and I was impressed by his knowledge and skill. My old computer was very slow so it took a while for it to transfer all the files to the new computer, but in the meantime Mike explained a few things to me and gave me a few tips on how to navigate through Windows 8. I asked many questions, I'm sure very basic and dumb, but Mike answered them all in detail and with much respect. Before leaving he told me to call any time with any questions or problems with the computer. I've had no problems and I'm very happy with the work he performed. I have already started recommending this company to my friends and family. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

They are always professional. Tristan has been coming to our home for awhile now, and we are very happy with the work he does.

A phone call to Computer Medics had a technician at our office in 45 minutes. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The dead computer was taken back to Compter Medics for data extraction, and we were called several days later. An appt was scheduled for Computer Medics to return here and transfer the recovered data to the new machine. During the initial service call, the new machine was tweaked and fully operational by the time the technician left an hour later. We were extremely pleased with service and value provided by Computer Medics.

I have a 5 year old laptop with a fan that's been intermittently noisy, but with increasing frequency. I phoned Computer Medics to discuss having them replace the fan. After discussing the age of the laptop and how much work would be required to access and replace this part, I was advised that I would be better off putting that money towards a new laptop. The estimated cost of fixing this one, I was told, would be about $129 for labor (which would probably take about 2 hours because the laptop would have to be taken completely apart), plus the cost of the part, probably totaling about $150 which would include parts and labor. I was advised to try using compressed air to blow dust off the fan and see if that helped. So I guess I'll try the compressed air, use this laptop for as long as it lasts, and keep my backups current. :) I was really impressed with the honesty and professionalism of the person I spoke to. If we do need any kind of service on our computers in the future, I would call this company again.

We called Computer Medics and they came to his house within a couple hours and on time. They fixed his computer within an hour and were very professional. If there were a grade above A+ I would give it to them!

The tech who came to my house was, Mike. He was punctual, proficient and professional. He worked 2 laptops and my iPad in an hour. He graciously tolerated my questions and not condescendingly. I will definitely call them again with my computer issues.

Steven scheduled the repair quickly and his son Tristan was the technician who responded. He went above and beyond to make sure that all problems were resolved. He took the time necessary to ensure that everything was repaired and working properly. I was VERY impressed and have already recommended them to several people at work. AWESOME JOB!

Excellent service, from the time I called to schedule the service call, right throug the completion of the work. The scheduler was polite and courteous on the phone and scheduled the service call from between 1pm and 3pm; however, after calling and asking for permission, the repair person came at about 12:15pm. Once here, he was pleasant, professional and worked very efficiently. He finished in much sooner than I had expected. I would definitely use this company again.

bought the special, they called and said there was not much they could do, based upon my description of the problem....they were in Henderson, I and in Summerlin..suggested that I bring it out there....not what I paid for, plus no time for the trip...a waste of my money and time!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not know I could have received a refund......too many things going on at that time in my life, this took a back burner. I have entered an non-existent work date because THEY DID NOT COME......as advertised. The address is bad too, they did not come!!!

The best experiance i have had with a company AAA+

The Computer had this problem prior and that time we were advised to do back-up files. Of course, it was never done. Computer that was 13 years old bit the dust.We went to Best Buy and purchased a computer and luckily were able to save most files. Morale of the story, always back-up your files

Triston arrived the day after we called during the time period we were promised. He was able to identify the problem in connecting to our printer. He also helped us understand how to deal with add ons for all thrtee of our computers. Triston suggested we change our antivirus and installed a new antivirus on all thee computers. After he left we discovered that the new antivirus was causing problems which he was able to fix immediately over the phone. This is a good company which when needed we will use again

We had 3 computers with problems: Husband’s laptop would not connect to the internet, a very old laptop would not boot up, and the desktop had a list of 12 issues. I called for service and Steven came out the next morning as scheduled. He started on my husband’s laptop. He quickly make some changes and while it ran a diagnostic program he started working on the desktop. He quickly resolved all the items on my list and made some additional changes to improve it’s performance. He also recommended a couple of free software programs which he down loaded for me and quickly showed me what I could do with them. He then went back to my husband’s laptop. While he was working on it I showed him the old laptop. He worked on the old laptop while he was waiting for things to run on my husband’s laptop. He got the old laptop running in no time and then helped me backup the files I wanted onto floppy disks. Which he then loaded onto my desktop via an adapter he had. Now I have the information on my desktop for future use. He finished cleaning up my husband’s laptop and got it running again. During this time he also resolved a problem we were having with our printer/fax machine. I feel Steven made excellent use of his time. He was very personable, courteous, and professional.

The experience exceeded my expectations. Steven was competent and so patient with computer challenged clients. I would highly recommend Computer Medics.

My computer monitor wouldn't turn on. The computer booted up so I was sure it was just the monitor. I called the office around 9:30 AM and by 10 AM Steven called me back. He said he would bring a test monitor and would also stop and buy a new 20" monitor to bring over in case that was all I needed. Sure enough all I needed was a new monitor. Since Steve brought one, he saved me the inconvenience of going out to buy one. From the time of my first call until it was fixed was approximately 2 hours. I appreciated the extremely fast service. Steven is both very professional and friendly. I would definitely call him again if I have computer problems.

As I said above, the entire process was very labor intense, but it was all performed with a smile. The most pleasant experience I've had from a service company.

What can I say! Computer Medics is first rate. My technician Mike was terrific. He repaired my hard drive and set up my printer so I could take advantage of both the fax and scan functions. I went with this company based on their reputation on Angies List and as usual, I was not let down. I have used Angies for many servcies around my house sense purchasing it 2 years ago and Angies has been a "life saver". Triston was very fast, and efficient. My computer's power supply needed to be replaced. He replaced it very quickly. While he worked we had a brief discussion about the global economy, Microsoft's Windows XP, Vista, Windows 8, and various apps. He proved to be articulate, knowledgeable, and displayed a good sense of humor. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. Overall, it was a smooth pleasant process.

Even though he probably didn't have to, he further checked the computer and installed some malware protection. These people met and exceeded my expectations. Very helpful and professional.

One of the computers crashed at one of my store locations. I called them on 1/11 and the lady on the phone scheduled an appointment for when we opened the next morning. The technician was there a few minutes before we opened. He checked the computer out, discovered that the antivirus that was installed was causing a problem and a few settings were off. He corrected that in no time, installed our new antivirus, and made sure everything was running correctly before he left. He did not mess around. He knew what he was doing and was very courteous. They accepted the 10% off coupon that was given to them without a problem. I am very happy with the services that we received from this company and will definitely use their services in the future.

triston arrived as scheduled and went right to work. my computer hadn't been cleaned up since i've had it about two years and it took more then the hour to get the job done. the extra fee was certainly fair. my computer was up and running but after triston left i found a few issues, i couldn't open my windows live mail and i was missing a gadget bar on my desktop. we called computer medics, left a message and received a very quick response. they told us that we should call them on mon. as they were closed sun. and they would be very happy to fix the problem for us. we received a number of messages from them and they seemed very concerned and very willing to help. we spoke to them on mon. and triston was able to resolve the problem remotely. my mail was back as was my gadget bar. computer medics did an excellent job and my computer is running very well.

They were here prompt, charged a fair price and did good work. We had a problem later on that wasn't their fault and they fixed it right over the phone. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Based on the reviews from Angie's list, we called Friday afternoon and spoke with Steven who assured us the transfer of data to our new computer would be relatively painless. He arranged to have Mike come out on Monday morning. Mike called to let us know he was on his way and arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. He immediately got to work setting up the new computer and transferring data. When he discovered that the new computer tower had two USB ports that weren't even connected (we never would have thought to check that!), we knew we had made the right decision to find professional help. He thoroughly checked that data had been transferred, made sure the Internet security was installed, and confirmed our specialty software and peripherals were working properly. From start to finish, he answered all our questions and explained what he was doing. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, considerate, professional and, thankfully, unflappable - - we are the newest members of Mike's fan club!! We're very impressed with the excellent service and reasonable rates provided by Computer Medics, and will recommend them to our friends! It's reassuring to know they're just a phone call away.

Great. They are fast, efficient, prompt and definitely know what they are doing. Other than having to spend so much money on our computers (that part sucks) but as far as they go they are great and he does it as fast as he can to keep the cost to us as low as possible and at this time of year that is much appreciated.
