Computer Medics

Description of Work: Don't remember exactly what the problem was but they managed to clear it up pretty quickly. One aspect of it was that I was unable to access the Internet, which meant I could not do my work.

Description of Work: The tech was Michael and he was wonderful and did more than I thought I needed. The price was reasonable and I know this company is available whenever I need them.

Description of Work: Service was excellent. They fixed our network problem and made certain that all the computers in the house were working correctly before they left. Will call again when we have a need.

Description of Work: Installed new screen for my wife's computer-changed my operating system. I end up using 3-4 times a year always a great job.

Description of Work: Steven Fuel was the person who came to our home. We had Norton 360 installed & did not think we could have gotten a virus... Then kept getting failure warnings on our computers (he fixed both a desk computer & a laptop) and we were not able to "install" jump drives to back up our information or install new hardware. |Steven called to see if he could come early, he was very professional, and got right to work. We told him what was happening and he immediately started fixing it. We had a few viruses and a LOT of malware. He told us about the antivirus he personally uses, which we also bought for our 3 computers. |He was here about 2 hours, knew exactly what he was doing & got us up and running quickly. |I would recommend him / computer medics to anyone having computer trouble! |FYI - we are both VERY leery of having "strangers" in our home - Steven was very professional & quickly put us at ease.

Description of Work: Triston was awesome! My laptop wasn't connecting to the internet and my desktop was really slow, so I asked them to come take a look. They were here the same day (great!). When triston came, I told him I wanted to keep it under an hour and that the laptop was the most important thing. He was able to make the laptop work as well as updating the desktop. The desktop didn't have any problems, just a weak signal from the wireless so he made some recommendations about that. He kept it under an hour, fixed everything I needed, and put up with listening to my fussy baby! Very trustworthy, highly recommended.

Description of Work: I bought a new router but couldn't get it to work. I called Computer Medics and they sent Steven out the next morning. He diagnosed the problem as a defective or refurbished router. He sold me a new one (same price) and installed it. Before he left he made sure the two additional computers were also working. Very professional and personable. I was very leary of having someone work on my computer who I didn't know, but thanks to Angie's list I found a great company that I will recommend to my friends and use again if I need to.

Description of Work: Mike was extremely professional and efficient in setting up our new computer and transferring data from our old one. He called us to let us know that he was on the way and arrived at our home on time. Upon arrival he quickly began to work and got the job done very quickly. He was courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend Computer Medics and Mike to our friends and family. I would certainly use them again for any of my computer needs.

Description of Work: I have used Computer Medics several times and I will continue to use them. The respone asap and they have fix every problem I have. I moved my home office from upstairs to downstairs and the set the whole office up with computer, printer, scanner, fax and etc. I couldn't be happier

Description of Work: The service was fast and accurate. He fixed my printer in addition to my computer problem. He also left me instructions on how to adjust the printer myself (which I have used several times). Alas! When I called recently for service I discovered they were out of business.
