Never received a return call. Not sure if I slipped through the cracks (but other customers apparently say the same thing), or what. I am wondering if either they are too busy to take my business or perhaps don't care. If you call them and receive similar treatment, I recommend finding another provider. It's not like Las Vegas has a shortage of heating/AC providers.

Wow, such a great experience. I have been pretty much jerked around by other service providers regarding the HVAC install at my property. It has never worked right since it was installed 10 years ago, and every time a contractor came to service it, I would get a different story and extreme pricing for making any repairs. 1st, John went out to do an assessment right away. What he found was a mess that was not up to code, and more importantly not workable. He was very thorough in walking me through everything that he found and he made a couple of recommendations. But in the end, he basically confirmed my fears, that I needed to do an entire replacement. Next Chris Bless then worked with me on two proposals, of which I chose the complete tear out and replace. I would not have gone this route, but for be he and John's ability to make me feel very comfortable that the job would be done right the very first time. In fact, both of them were so upset by what they found, they wanted me to go to the contractor's board first, and see about getting compensation for the shoddy work done by the prior contractor. An option, I might still pursue in the future. From the first call, to the final completion (about 8 days in length) they were responsive, helpful, professional, and in general, the most honest contractors I have dealt with in the valley. I highly recommend them for any and all HVAC needs.

On 09/17/2015 I asked if the tech had gone out and what he did because according to her he was to have contacted me and told me what was wrong. I finally did get ahold of the duct specialist (which apparently slipped his mind I guess)and he advised i'd needed to redo the duct work as it was not installed correctly. I advsd I would think about it and I did not think I needed any duct work done(I didn't need it before when I had a tech look at it before). About a week later my renter calls me and says the something is wrong with my air conditioner and that the problem was never remedied. The house had gotten very hot and going to sleep at a relatives house. I immediate called AIRE SERV and the got a tech out at 7:30pm that evening. My renter said the it was a bad capacitor as the technician showed them the damaged capacitor. They promptly replaced it and there you go the Air had no problems after that. They charged me $180 dollars for the everything and my renter was happy and as a result so was I. **To be fair I will update the review to a "C" if I those 2 rooms are hot/warm again. The facts remain: 1.You charged me $70 for a service call. 2.Your technician did not fix the problem. 3.There were issues with communication. 4. I did not call you back because my renter was very unhappy and was about to leave the residence with her children and I needed a quick response and a fixed air conditioner. 3. I used another Company that: A. Fixed my Air conditioner B. Communicated with me and my renter in a timely manner.(communication may have been the biggest problem here) C. Charged me a fair price. Workmen were all very professional and competent. Very easy to work with as the project was proceeding in phases. They scheduled as the areas were available to work in. Since much of the work was done during the hottest part of the year, they would leave for service calls at other locations. This is part of their business and I was prepared for it. My wife and I are extremely happy with our HVAC installation. The materials are of highest quality, the installation was done by experienced workmen, and the planning of the project from engineering to installation was excellent.

On the first trip, we did not ask them to diagnose the A/C. We simply asked them to replace the return duct ($284 which is very reasonable given that Amazon wanted $200 just for the flex duct). After that did not fix the problem, we went looking for someone to diagnose our Trane A/C (which we've had nothing but problems with). Saw on Angie's list the Carl's also does A/C. Called then at 8:30 am and they were out before noon. Diagnosed the condensor motor (which we already suspected due to the noises the A/C was making). They gave us a quote of $675 for the diagnosis, motor and replacement labor. They left and returned around 1:30 pm and the new motor was in before 2:30 pm and the A/C is back to working. I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to help us for a reasonable cost.

After the technician performed the annual service on our air conditioner, he explained what he did so I could understand.

As always, Carl's was on time and did exactly what they said they would do and for the quoted price. This will be the third time they have serviced are AC units before it really gets hot in Las Vegas. We trust that they will do a good job.

The owner's son, Dillon, arrived on time. Very friendly and knowlegeable, he did an excellent job. The horrible leak was fixed and he did an excellent cleanup. Best experience I ever had with a plumber and feel the cost was more than fair.

It went okay, but was a little pricey

They clean up the equipment, check for efficiency and safety, and have a couple of times made suggestions for upgrades that are available with NV Energy rebates. At one point, we had a problem, and they came out fast and repaired it for a reasonable price.

They were knowledgeable, prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend them!

The guy that came out was nice, polite and well versed in the industry. I too used to be an AC technician a long time ago and he knew what he was talking about. I didn't pay more than the $49. He came within a day or so, he was very quick. I would recommend them.

They were quick with response. We have our service with them and we like them.

Work went well replaced parts and had cool air in our home very professional company. Very nice and told us what we needed and what should be done. Will call them for new unit.

They came out and gave me an estimate quickly and replaced the unit the following day. A crane was required as unit is on the roof. The unit was installed and thermostat replaced. The crew was polite and behaved in a professional manner.

Responded immediately for a techincian to evaluate and give us a quote. The technician had an extensive check list, explained everything that would be done and answered all of our questions.The quote from them was very competitive especially with the extended warranty. Other quotes were not done on such a professional level. They sent in two crews, one for each unit. Very professional and expedient going about the work. They finished in one day. This was a blessing because the temperature at the time in Henderson, NV was approaching 110 degrees F.

I called at 5:00 am. Was told that a tech would call. I know it is hot and I am not the only person. Waited until noon called again and was told tech would call. He called and said he called at 7:00am and 11:00am. And left voice mails. He did not call. I had my phone by me and there were no calls. I hate to be lied to just tell the truth. He stated he was busy and if he did not shiow up by 7:00pm nobody would show and would not get to me today I was told to wait until Monday morning when the office opened. What is up with 24hrs service don't advertise if you do not do 24hrs service. Plus when he did call the number showed restricted.

Gabriel advised me that at some point I would need new motors but for now my units were working fine. I definitely will call Carl's at this point and I highly recommend Carl's for A/C problems - professional and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with everything.

The did really good job. They are a local company and even offered a coupon for being an Angie's List member. They arrived early and got right to work. They were very thorough and it required quite a bit of work and fine tuning due to the location of the unit in our home. They were surprisingly fast as well for the difficulty of the job, I was impressed. They were also very professional, helpful and made sure to clean up after themselves.

I called a competitor out for a second opinion who found a leak at the coil, had it fixed in :45 minutes for $475.00 and said I had another 10 years of life left in my current system.

They were very quick to respond after I purchased the big deal. The technician that came out was very nice and clean and he wore booties when coming in the house. They got there right away and replaced the fan that I needed. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I was really impressed that they even tried to save me money. I did have to pay for the part and time it took him to put it in, but he was very quick to get that done. It wasn't very much more. It was a very good experience and everything is working great now.

They were excellent and did exactly what we wanted.

We called Carl's to participate in the Nevada Power Check Me program. John returned my call to set up an appointment and came out the same day to run the initial test of the system. We then set up a day for him to come back and replace all the old duct work. After completing the repairs and running the post test, we were able to get a rebate from Nevada Power for the repair. John and his crew were very courteous, professional, and clean. I would recommend them for any ac or duct work that you may need.

Technician was prompt and courteous. They were able to fit me in on the same day I called due to a cancellation. The technician didn't have a replacement circuit board, but he was able to get one delivered to the house by another technician even though it was past their 5 pm closing time so that the job could be finished. This was necessary as my daughter is disabled and requires a warm house as she can't control her body temperature. Repair took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I highly recommend Carl's Air Conditioning & Heating. They lived up to Angie's List recommendation.

Carl's did an excellent job. They were on time, made a clean installation and did everything they promised to do. The pricing was very reasonable and competitive with the market. Their technicians were polite and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them for any future work.
