It was extremely smooth and coordinated. It was A-1 Quality from the dig all the way to the finish. They use quality products that are low energy. It is saving me money.

On the positive sides, they were professional, workers all very professional, did an excellent job, the pool is lovely, they told us it would be 6-8 weeks and it ended up being longer, but they did start the pool in February. The one con was I had to continue to chase the supervisor. I feel it could have been a little better with the supervisor. Don Sabino was an excellent designer. We have never had a pool before and he started the process for us.

They did an amazing job. The whole crew was very understanding and patient. They had no hesitation when we made changed to our design. The foreman was phenomenal. He was always on site. They didn't try to upsell us. They kept everything in perspective. They kept everything on a time line. They still managed to finish on time despite weather conditions. They communicated everything with us at every step of the process. They are an all around great company. They are very honest compared to some of the other companies that gave us quotes.

Moving from the east coast, we were already familiar with Anthony & Sylvan, and felt confident in their ability to build a quality product. We met with Don Sabino in December, 2016, and based on his wonderful design, contracted shortly thereafter. Construction began in mid January, 2017, and true to their promise of an 8 week delivery time, despite a few changes and upgrades, the pool was finished in mid March. Rich Norgen, our project manager was readily available to answer any questions, and kept a close eye out on our project, sending weekly updates. The finished pool exceeded our expectations. After start up we were contacted by Pooltech for "pool school." Their technician, Ken, was both knowledgeable and patient as he explained our pool equipment. Also, since we were new to the area, Don recommended both a landscaper and outdoor kitchen company, which we both used, to complete our backyard. We are looking forward to enjoying out backyard for many years to come. We highly recommend Anthony & Sylvan if you are considering building a pool. Their professionalism and attitude is beyond reproach.

They were exceptional! Design consultant was fantastic as well as Project Manager. All phases were done with expertise and professionalism.

Our pool is admittedly a very custom, very complex, and not your average pool. We knew from the beginning that our project would have some issues. There were indeed a lot of hiccups... some major, some pretty minor. But the one thing that brings about my 5 star rating is that in every situation, Anthony and Sylvan did the right thing to make it 100%. Daniel Sabino is wonderful to work with. He listens and is absolutely the buyer's advocate. Our project manager who took this over the finish line was Jason Campanella who put action behind his words to make it right. We have a gorgeous pool, and are thrilled!!!

We are very happy with the design of our pool. Each team involved handled themselves professionally and completed their task within the time frame detailed.

I would like to thank Anthony and sylvan pools for giving my first pool and spa. My family is very happy, I shopped around on the web for best pool builders in lasvegas there were a lot of builders and noticed that Anthony sylvan had showed up with 5 star reviews, So I decided to read them my self and noticed that's this company had aswsome reviews. I already had shopped around and got prices from other pool builders and wanted a company that will always be there...so why not give Anthony sylvan pools a call so I called the office and spoken to the reciptionist about pool price quote so she had a salesperson named Don Sabino. Later that days Don calls me and says do you have time for measurements, I said yes so he came over and did the measurements for the backyard. Later that same day he already had my pool design ready. My wife had some suggestions to the backyard besides the pool so she asked Don Sabino she wanted some yard space since our yard was not that large, So Don said ok my wife and I went to the office to see what he had designed for us, my wife and I was very happy she got her yard space and i got the pool man this guy can make your backyard dream come true. Don Sabino is very knowledgeable he explained everything and how it works. And Anthony sylvan pools will help you get the pool you want if you don't the cash that was a bonus for us since other banks said no. I decided to go with Anthony sylvan with no hesitation. I had a meet and greet with Don Sabino and their project manager Skye Ducreay they explained everything what was gonna be done and how long they told me they can build a pool in 6weeks if everything goes well. So the adventure begins, first week and half I was already preped for shotcrete, I was impressed with Skye he doesn't mess around very professional on what he says and do he always gives a update and when contractors will arrive. I had saw some flaws on my tile so I called Skye Ducreay but it was already after hours so I left him message, the next morning he already took care of the problem with no issues. . I was amazed that they pool was done in 5weeks already with water in it. I had other neighbors that had went with other pool companies and started a week later and they still had not have the pool done. At the end I was very happy with going with Anthony sylvan with no regrets because if I didn't my family and I wouldn't have the best summer. This company was unbelievable. Worked with Bob who I saw mentioned in many reviews as "great" Bob showed up to one appointment and we were supposed to have a followup about a week later he never contacted me I called him on a Tuesday morning and it sounded like I had woken him up. He said our design was nearly complete and that he would call me later to set a appointment for later that week. I'm still waiting for that call.He completely bailed on us. No follow up, nothing wasted my time and delayed our decision as we were in the process of finding a builder. I don't understand what his problem was. I can only guess that since we didn't want a 30k hole in the ground that perhaps our pool was just too complex for them to handle. Not to say we were over the top. We ultimately had a 20x33 pool built with a spa, saltwater, lighting and some waterfalls. You would think that was pretty straight forward, but I guess Bob didn't want to deal with someone that knew exactly what they wanted. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Not only did Bob bail on me, the appointment was setup through corporate and they never bothered following up to check on service and experience. I hired Artistic Pool and Spa and I can tell you that Wade has been nothing but spectacular to deal with. Great company, designers eye and communication. I suppose the 80k budget I had was just not good enough for Bob and A/S. Amendment: Spoke with Owen at corporate and appreciate his customer service and he satisfied my concerns.

I was set on a fiberglass pool due to low maintenance but the cost of the gunite was the same price. Pool excavation started first week of April and we had water by May 27. We have pool school June 6 and our water pot " water feature" is still waiting completion. The excavator did break off the corner of our concrete drive. Ray said that they would repair it so we are waiting on that. All crews were very nice, neat and clean. We did purchase a heater which I see is offered for free to Angie List members. I need to check on that. Make the guys show you exactly where the equipment will be and how much space the actually pipes and such will need. The heater has to be so far away from the foundation (I think 3 or 4 feet) which I was fine with but the pipes coming out the other side extend so far out in the yard. We will have to build a big screen to hide it. Way bigger than I thought. i will update when installation is totally complete.

After your pool is complete, if you have any issues, call the warranty company. My pool designer, Sindo, and construction manager, Derek, were great, but once the pool was complete, it took me a while to realize that I should be calling the warranty co as I had worked with the other two for some time. They were all good. I'm very happy. It's been a year and the pool is wonderful and the company made sure that all was well with us. I appreciate that.

The representative (I don't recall his name) out to look at my backyard and I explained what I was looking for. He seemed to understand and said he'd get back to me in a couple of weeks with a proposal. Never heard back from him. I wanted a pool installed and was not interested in a total backyard re-do and that may have been the problem. About 2 weeks ago, I received a voice mail from someone that said I cold get a $700.00 discount on a pool. Anyway, I didn't think I need to follow up with a builder and if the wanted my business, they would contact me. I found a builder on Angie's List that I'm happy with and they are going to start digging on Monday. Poor experience from a company that was rated so highly on Angie's List.

Bob came out to our house to take measurements for a pool estimate. He came out and measured, we talked about how a pool would work in the space. He then began to change the subject and went on and on about controversial political topics. After some awkwardness, he left and said he would get back to us un a week with an estimate. We thought this was very odd. He never called back and none of our calls were returned after that. Ultimately, we went with another pool installer. Update 6/16/2015: I was contacted by Mr. Sakovics from Anthony & Sylvan Pools and he apologized for my disappointing experience with Bob as my pool consultant. He stated that their customer satisfaction is incredibly important to their business. Since we selected another pool installer, they offered us a gift certificate to use for pool supplies and expressed the desire for a positive outcome. Changing the overall grade to a C.

As first time pool owners we felt in great hands with Daniel Sabino. From the first time he came to our home to the finished product he was constantly checking in with us which was awesome. He took our concept and put it on paper, even included our two dogs in the 3D computer drawing when we met with him in his office, which was great. Our project manager was a different story, We didn't feel that he communicated to us along the way as he should have. There were text messages and phone calls not returned which left us wondering. When we spoke to Daniel about these issues they were quickly addressed. Because of Daniel's care and concern, those issues we had with the project manager were overlooked. We love our pool and would recommend using Anthony & Sylvan.

It went very well. I was very happy with the two primary people I worked with. I worked with the salesmen Don Sabino and the Project Manager Skye. We do not have a traditional pool, we have something from scratch to fit exactly what we want and not fit the "norm" of what other people have, we wanted a unique experience that is what was delivered. I could not have been happier with the service provided. They sent a message to me daily to let me know the progress, so that I knew exactly how everything was proceeding. The Project manager Skye handled this so that I knew exactly what was going on. It was great everyday to see a photo and a detailed report in my email, so even though I may not be at home until 1am, I could still see the work with a photo that happened during the day. I am so happy with everything that was done and I am floored with how professional everything went. Anytime I had a question, the Project Manager responded quickly. I could not be happier.

The entire process was very simple! Bob Mertel was our sales associate, he was awesome! He answered every phone call and text. He was very patient. He had everything ready to go once I was ready. Once I said go Skye, the site superintendent, was on it!! The pool would've literally been done in 4 weeks if my landscaper hadn't held things up. Skye was awesome! He returned all phones calls, text and emails. He even kept an eye on my house while I was out of town and gave me updates! I would totally use them again and I highly recommend them! I got 4 quotes and they were all comparable but I liked everything from the pool design to the ease of the process with Anthony & Sylvan. It was also important to know Anthony & Sylvan have been in business for so many years and have a good reputation and can stand behind their work! I highly recommend them!!

Everything went perfectly. Bob Mertel and Skye Ducreay exceeded all my expectations. They built a pool and spa which has a tanning ledge and grotto. From start to finish scheduling went very smoothly. The completed project is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Anthony & Sylvan Pools. They completed the project ahead of schedule which is unheard of in Las Vegas.

Bob Mertel came on time, but we felt we had to pull out forcefully any information, he looked bored and not willing to answer any of our questions. He came on a Monday and promised an e-mail with details and the design of the pool towards the end of the week.We never heard from him, I did not call them as I thought as professionals they should follow trough. We are very disappointed in this company, we thought they want business , but I guess not from us. This was a very rude and demeaning behavior that I would have never expected from such a company. We felt betrayed and laughed at. I don't understand why he even bothered to come over since he wasn't interested in the job and give us a bored attitude ? I read this kind of behavior was used before with other customers. Very dissatisfied with this company and definitely I will not recommend!!!!!! Owen from customer service contacted me, quickly. The company owes to him the change in rating because I felt he was polite and sincerely interested in what happened, also tried to solve the issue and only because of him I will reconsider this company.

Don Sabino is an excellent pool designer and an overall really nice man who made himself available to answer all questions. He answered all of our concerns and worked hard at gaining our trust. Unfortunately, Don has to release control to the construction manager to actually build the pool. This is where the process broke down. The construction manager was a piece of work. He would not return my phone calls, he made decisions about the pool w/o consulting the me. On one occasion i actually had to work with a subcontractor to fix a decision that was made by the construction manager, because the construction department is "closed on weekends". Steven from the excavation company that A&S hired(he is not an A&S employee) came over immediately after hearing about the issue and tried to address the concerns that i had and provided guidance and direction on how to move forward. I tell you what, without Steven from Fasttrack excavation this pool build would have been a complete nightmare. My pool was completed in spite of the A&S construction manager's rude and unprofessional behavior throughout this process only because of the quality of the sub's that A&S hires. My recommendation, shop around and make sure your pool build team will be 100% behind you throughout the entire process.

We need a replastering of our pool and resurfacing of our deck. Both are about 14 years old, so it's a renovation work. We are planning to have all these done within the next two months before it gets hot, so I started sending messages to several contractors here on Angieslist, via the internal messaging system. Anthony was quick to respond, and although they don't do the renovation directly as they focus more on design and project management of new pool constructions, he referred me to his trusted subcontractor, who also called and came to our house within a day or two to measure and a**** our needs so they could give us an estimate.

Excellent consultation- up to date project mgt- time schedule kept to date- excellent communication- living out of state from where the pool is being built with a family member staying in that home, I feel very comfortable letting the pool be built without me present.
