Description of Work: My husband left several messages to get a quote to paint the inside of our home. When the company finally got back to us, they kept putting us off to come to our home. In the end, they were very rude to us when they finally decided to grace us with their presence. My husband ended up calling them to cancel the estimate visit because they were rude and not customer oriented.

Well after seeing this review, we did some research. First off, this happened just short of two years ago and you are now just posting a review, wouldn’t you think it’s a little late to complain about anything? In our research, we have found no record of anyone calling our business with the last name from Fernley. We have not worked for you, ever given you a quote/estimate, “graced you with our presence”, your name is not set up in our database, our accounting software, or in our phone logs. We keep records of every call that comes to our office, because customers are the lifeblood of our business, and without customers, there is no business. Now we have people call from Fernley from time to time, and our suggestion to them is to find a local contractor to look at their project and save them some money, as our drive time will add to the cost of the project and may not be beneficial to them for us to travel so far. With over 1500 residential and commercial customers and a 99.8% satisfaction rating, you can see, we have not mastered walking on water but if this is what you call being “rude and not customer oriented” we will take it. We certainly hope that you have accomplished your goals in your new home. We wish you luck with you future endeavors. Have an awesome day.

They did excellent work.
Description of Work: They painted the outside of our 2 story home. They started with pressure washing, followed by brushing, caulking and priming. They followed the first coat with rollering and then applied the second coat. They cleaned up and moved their equipment out of the way each day. They kept us informed about what they were doing and for any problems they encountered, they informed us of their solutions. We are very pleased with the work John and Mike did; it was excellent!

I have used Mastercraft for several years and don't even bother to get other estimates. Jay and his crew are always very professional, provide excellent customer service and always do a great job. My husband and I highly recommend Mastercraft!

They've been fabulous. We used them in our previous home. Top quality customer service. They guys who come over and do the painting are always on time and courteous and clean up and communicate with you. I wouldn't use anyone else.
Description of Work: They have had interior painting. Last year they did the majority of our downstairs and we had an additional room six months later and now they were doing the upstairs for us.

This company will be our painter - interior or exterior. The price may seem high, but there was a lot of detail work in this particular job - lots of masking on the door. And excellent work isn't cheap - we felt like it was a fair price for the quality. The company kept in contact with us from start to finish - even tried to work us in a little early which we couldn't do. The painters weren't able to start right on time due to their last job taking a little longer. The company was very good about calling us to talk about this even though the contract says the start is approximate. The men showed up mid-morning and went right to work. By the end of the day, they had half the house done. The next day it was finished. The painters were very careful to move things that could be moved, not drip or track paint everywhere and did cleanup in a neat manner. The men were extremely respectful of property - always knocked on the door if there was a questions. The job was finished well within the estimated time. This company won't start lots of jobs and leave everyone hanging like many contractors and people in trades will do. They may need a little extra time to finish the last job, but they''ll do whatever it takes to finish yours too.
Description of Work: We had an estimate done - which is free. We needed exterior trim re-painted. We agreed on work to be done, who would supply what, and the price. The company was prompt in sending paperwork and other information they promised. The company was good about confirming the start date. The painters arrived and began prepping the trim, re-caulking areas that needed fixed, priming, taping. The painting was done quickly and well. The men knew what they were doing, knew paint and application methods. They were very good about answering any questions we had about paint, application etc. One of them was a 3rd + generation painter. The job was done in the estimated time. We did a walk around when the job was done to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The company sent a customer survey with their bill along with a stamped envelope - it appeared like they really cared if the job was done well.

Very punctual and professional. Very neat and clean. Excellent quality work with very pleasant employees. No surprises in cost. Assisted me personally with doing proper texturing. We were very pleased with every aspect of their work. We have used them before and have no reservations whatsoever in using them again in the future.
