They were fabulous. There were two very nice young men. I think the dad owns it so they take a lot of pride in what they do. It wasn't just like a job. It was like they were vested in what they were doing. They were polite and they worked really well together. It was almost like they didn't have to say anything to each other. I think they were brothers. They knew what to do and they talked to me first. They told me how it was going to happen. They were a little more expensive than other companies but I trusted them more even in the beginning before I met them. They were local and I felt better with somebody local. I felt it was worth it to pay the extra money to have people that were proud of what they did.

Like new results. Great work. Punctual, professional, informative and fairly priced. The approximate cost listed included two services, carpet cleaning in one room ($150) and one hand woven area rug soiled by my dogs that requiring sanitizing ($350).

Called at 8AM to confirm. Came on time. Did a great job. Came back special to put furniture back in place. Biggest thing is that my fussy husband liked them!! 10 percent off coupon helped as well.

I found the workmen polite and responsible. I thought the cost was reasonable, given the number of rugs they cleaned.

It all went well. They called to confirm time of arrival, came and were very professional and courteous. They knew their business and did a very good job. They followed up with a phone call as I was not home when they finished.

I called Carpetworks on a friday to schedule carpet cleaning on saturday, they were booked. On Saturday morning they called me and said they had a cancellation and wanted to know if I was still interested. I found Carpetworks to be very knowledgable, professional and to say the least accommodating. I would highly recommend Carpetworks and will be calling them back for future services. Great job, guys!

Friendly and professional staff of two arrived on time, cleaned the carpet in 20 minutes (the 13 X 12 room had no furniture, no weird corner turns or niches, nor any tricky steps), and then packed up their gear and left. All went well except for the sticker shock of the price tag. I could have had this job done for $60. just about anywhere else in the nation. Prompt professional service providers are hard to find in Santa Fe, and Carpet Works is one of the very few I've ever bought from. Just be prepared to really open your wallet. They did comment on the phone that $100. is their minimum price, but I don't think I was paying close attention and that was my fault. I would not use Carpet Works again because I'm on a fixed income. Nevertheless, the job went well.

They arrived on time, measured the areas to be cleaned, gave me an estimate, and proceeded to clean with a powerful steam cleaner hooked up to their truck. They didn't vacuum the carpets first, but that may be because I had already done so before they came. (You might want to do the same.) They cleaned especially carefully in the high-traffic, soiled areas, and they covered more square footage than their estimate had included, including an area rug that wasn't part of the estimate. Despite this extra work, the final invoice was the same as the estimate. They did thorough, careful work, and our carpet looked vastly improved as a result of their efforts.

The owner came to the house to give us an estimate, but then we didn't hear from him for quite some time ... maybe 10 days or so. We contacted him to ask when we would receive the estimate, and we got it later that day. It was VERY expensive ($317.22), but we decided to do it because we really wanted a good cleaning, and this company received excellent reviews. We scheduled the cleaning for 1:00 pm on October 18th. The owner left a message on our answering machine on that day at 11:00 to see if they could come early. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible because we had a house cleaning service in our house all morning, so we didn't return their call. They showed up at 12:30 and sat in the driveway waiting for 1:00 pm. They clearly wanted to go home early. The young man behind the wheel (the owner's son) had huge gauge earrings in his earlobes. As much as I would prefer not to judge people by their appearance, it made me uncomfortable. They spent approximately an hour cleaning our carpets. They moved some furniture and the carpets looked good, and both the owner and his son were courteous. However, they were not able to remove some dog urine stains and left us some solution so we could try to get out the stains. For that much money, they should have made the extra effort to get those stains out rather than leave cleaning solution with us. While it was a good job, it was not worth what it cost. Plumbers and electricians don't make that much per hour. Someone else could have done just as good a job for half as much or less. We will not use this company again.

Carpet Works stretched and cleaned our carpets. They were honest, fair and very good. They stepped in where others couldn't do the work. They showed up on time (actually called ahead to confirm) and were professional in every regard. I highly recommend them for carpet services.

I called to make an appointment, and left a message. They immediately called me back. We set a date that was convenient to me. They called to confirm that they were on their way on the appointed date. They found my house using MapQuest or Google Maps, so I didn't have to give them directions. They arrived about ten minutes early, which was fine with me. The leader (whose name I have forgotten by now, I'm sorry) and I walked through the house. I indicated the furniture I wanted Carpet Works to move and clean under, and what not to move. He came up with an estimate, which seemed OK to me. The leader and his partner cleaned the carpeting in about two and a half hours. They packed up all their gear while I wrote them a check. The carpet looked wonderful.They even got a very dirty high-traffic area cleaned. And they also cleaned a small throw rug. I will definitely use Carpet Works the next time I need my carpets cleaned.

What's to tell? They did a good job.

This company is fantastic! The odor is gone and carpets are clean and look like new. The men who came to do the job were puntual, polite, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I would definitely recommend Carpet Works to anyone who needs this service.

The last time I used this service, I called on a Friday for carpet cleaning on a Monday. They arrived when they said they would, cleaned the carpets, and invoiced me for payment. The carpets looked perfect when they left.
