Description of Work: I had built a new home and needed the backyard landscaped. Bill came out and gave me some ideas and then returned with a drawing. We went over his drawing and list of plants, trees, etc. He was receptive to me changing some of the vegetation and the color of gravel. His crew arrived promptly on the appointed day and in two days they were done. They extended the patio, put in a dry river bed, laid gravel over the entire yard and put in numerous plants and trees. They also put in the drip system which tied to the one in the front yard. The work went very quickly and smoothly with no problems. Some plants were unavailable at this time of year and they are expected to come back in the spring to finish planting. I am confident that will go smoothly as well.

Description of Work: I used Whelchel and Gleason to re-landscape the backyard. Services included removal of existing landscape materials, installed drip irrigation, replaced concrete pad, and installed gravel and a cut flagstone walkway. | |Overall, the service provided excellent service at slightly more expense than other options explored options. A couple of nitpicks: |1) Started working on the backyard with no prior warning. Scheduled start date kept changing until one day they just showed up. A little more forewarning would have been appreciated. |2) Consistently called me on my cell phone despite requests to call office phone during normal business hours. Both numbers had been provided. |But again I was overall pleased with their work and the final results.

Description of Work: Provided new rock in front and back yards, leveled yard, installed plants and trees, trimmed tree. There were some scheduling issues but in the end everything was worked out to our satisfaction. Bill Whelchel responded quickly and professionally when a problem arose which we much appreciated. Our salesperson, Brent, was quick and detailed in providing a quote and kept in touch with us throughout the process. Most importantly, Cory and the rest of the crew provided a beautiful finished product. My wife and I are both very pleased. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Removal of driveway concrete and repour with new concrete

Description of Work: Put in plants I chose. The reason I would not use them again is that they seem to have gone out of business.

Description of Work: Bill and his partner came in and demolished an old courtyard wall surrounding a very small entrance courtyard and the sidewalk and expanded my courtyard by approximately 600 ft. with new pavers, poured colored concrete and landcscaping around the perimeter along with a new 6' stucco wall. It took them several months due to their other ongoing jobs, but for the most part my job was completed in whole at one time. Bill planted the landscaping plants late (winter had set in) and some look "iffy"; but Bill has promised that they are guaranteed for a year. He is very personable and easy to work with. The nicest thing Bill and his partner did was pave over my front door step. Why? Because I am in a wheel chair and that has made it so much easier for me to get in and out of the house to enjoy my new huge courtyard. There was no discussion about this, they just saw how diffficult the ramp that I had was for me (and it was not included in the price). It was a very kind and caring gesture.

Description of Work: Total overhaul of back "yard": removed thatch, weeds, etc. and installed sod, plants (including 2 trees) and gravel. They also installed a couple of plastic "fences" I had purchased and used stones left from the previous owner's projects to make a terrific path from patio to gate. A problem with the sprinklers was resolved in less than 24 hours. This company is tops!

Description of Work: Didn't use because they never returned my call. I called during business hours but an answering machine picked up indicating that I should leave a message and my call would be returned, but I never received a return call.
