He is very courteous. He was running a little late for the original start time, so called to let us know he would be later. The texture and ceiling matched the original texture very well. There was no mess. He taped the areas off and cleaned up after hew as done. He completed the work in less than 4 hours. We felt the $430.00 charge was a bit high, but the original bid was based on 8 hours of work. Since he completed the work in half the time his hourly cost was $100.00/hour. Materials was $30.00. As a followup, he was going to provide a bid to do some closet shelving work, but we never got a response back on. We also did not follow back up with him.

terry did the work over a few months - the time delays because of my schedule and the securing of materials, not because of him. he was very accommodating with these delays and would show up quickly and do the work expeditiously. i am very pleased and appreciate how he was willing to work with my schedule and that of my tenant.

Terry did a great job installing appliance shelves and some other small handyman tasks around our house...we will definitely use him again in the future!

He did some work for me in my garage. He was responsible, responsive and did a good job. I was actually thinking about of using him again in the future for some other things that need to be done. He is going come this weekend and we are going to look at some essential work.

Terry is on time, on budget and the results of his work is exceptional.

This person looked like a good 'fit' for our needs. However, several attempts to get together to outline the scope of work did not work out. He wanted to come on weekends when we were busy or gone. Tried to connect between 11/29/11 and ending on 12/13/11. I provided a phone number ...however, all communication was via email. Last email received 12/13 stated: "I am swamped till the new year, sorry." There has been no follow-up since then... and it's the 'new year.' Perhaps Angie's List has been a wonderful thing for this handyman - providing him with more work than he can handle. We are still in need of a good handyman.

He's the best. He's very prompt and when he says he's coming out, he's here. He nearly accommodates to my schedule. If I have to go to work he'll come here after work to go over the job with me. He just does an excellent job. He's very inventive.

Everything went well but we have yet to have another storm to truly test the work. However, he is a very nice a fair person. I would recommend him and will use him for other projects.

He was fine. I was pleased with the estimate.

I contacted Terry to ask him to come over to the house and give us an estimate for the work. We arranged a date and time. He showed up for the estimate on time and ready. We arranged a date for him to come and replace the doors. He was able to replace the doors in several days. The work to replace these doors was labor intensive and it took him time to cut/plane the doors exactly as needed. He took another day for the laundry room project which was also labor intensive and exacting. He put the gate together very quickly with no problems. Terry and his apprenctice removed the rock wall one day and mud texturized it the next day. He was very pleasant to have in the house as was his apprentice. They did the work quickly and thoroughly.

I think his price was fair and we had a little trouble at first; I guess he was very busy but that is all straightened out. I will use him again in the future.

My home has built-in planters, a wood and stucco structure supporting two sheet metal boxes 1' X 1' X several feet, filled with soil. After 27 years of weather exposure, the sheet metal was rusted and corroded, and simply collapsed, spilling dirt into the structure and exposing the internal wood to the elements. Inspection of the other planter revealed that it, too, was rusted, corroded, and its collapse was only a matter of time. This is an unusual repair, not something I would expect anyone to have done before. When Terry came for the estimate, the main reason I hired him was his careful thinking about how to do it right, and what might go wrong. He measured several times to ensure that a new sheet-metal box would fit past the stucco, which was sticking out a bit into the opening. (I realized the other person that gave me an estimate had not measured so carefully. If I hired him, would the new boxes fit?) He offered multiple solutions for sealing the box in against the weather. When the day came to do the repair, it turned out some of the internal wood was rotted, and we had to improvise a slightly different solution. He was easy to communicate with, and willing to keep considering other possibilities until we found a solution we were comfortable with. Ultimately, he built a new 2X4 frame to support the planter box, and applied silicone to seal the upper edges. He charged me only for the additional materials, for which he provided receipts, even though it was additional work for him. I would definitely recommend him, especially for an unusual repair which is essentially a problem-solving activity.

Terry explained very clearly the necessity of both door jambs needing to be built up, so that the door knobs from the interior doors to both entry ways would not interfere with the handles on the new security doors. One of the frames would be easily constructed, but the other would need a complete jamb/ frame since the wood was old and rotted. Terry ordered the new jamb, the supplies and 2 handle/knobs for the doors, since the locks I had purchased were keyed on both sides without a handle. He showed me all receipts and explained the his standard charge for the installation was $100. per door and the additional $180. for the 2 door entry handles and jamb that was ordered. The doors were caulked and I will paint the outside door jamb as advised by Terry. He removed the old frames and all other discarded packaging, etc. Both Terry and his work were very professional. In the future, I intend to call him for more work on some inside cabinets that I need.

He did a fabulous job. He did outstanding work and was on time. He had super attention to detail and high level of ownership. The end result was excellent. I am looking at having him come back.

Terry is a professional and perfectionist. He brought in a paint specialist for the staining repair, finish and he too was excellent.

Overall it was a good experience. We are very happy with the results

Terry quoted the job and stuck to the quote. He did all the work agreed upon and worked around my schedule. He did a good job and I would use him again.

I needed a new exterior door and needed to put a pet door in it. Terry came to my home to look at the existing door etc. We decided that he would look at doors and inform me of the best type of door and the cost. He told me about the door and I went to see it before buying it. I bought the door and left it at the showroom. When Terry was ready to do the work he went all the way back to the showroom and picked up the door and brought it to my home. He installed the door without a problem and cut in the pet door and installed that. He installed the dead bolt etc. and everything was done efficiently and skillfully. I had no complaints at all, only praises for his promptness, skillfulness, and efficiency.

I liked his work very much. He was an individual and I found him on Angie's List. It did not take him a lot of time. He was spot on with his estimate and did very good work.

Terry was helpful in recommending places to look for doors and coordinated the pickup and he did the installation. He was quick with an estimate (and very affordable). Terry hung the new door -- it needed "special" attention and he did a beautiful job. I am already talking to Terry about doing other work around my home. He was very professional and did a great job.

I didn’t have a huge job, but he took care of everything. He is very dependable and he is very meticulous and accurate about what he does. He is easygoing, he does good work, and he is dependable. I thought the price was very reasonable and fair. I live in an older house that needs upkeep and repairs so I plan on using him again.

Terry is really a nice guy. He called a couple of days before to make sure that we were on schedule. He came out and did the work. It was a good job. The price was reasonable. He seems to know how to do his job. He was professional and quiet. I like him. He didn’t make a big mess and he did what he said he was going to do. As he was leaving I noticed that the leg on the coffee table was falling apart so he repaired that and secured all the other legs. Since I had already paid him, he did that for free. He is a good guy and I appreciate that he did the extra work without charging for it. I will definitely call him again just because of those little things. He is fairly priced.

Extraordinary! Terry's ideas matched the quality of his work.....my kitchen is beautiful at a fraction of the cost of one of the kitchen remodel companies. He is neat, always cleans up after himself, daily, and in general is a very nice person to be around. His work is the best I have ever seen!

They were professional and competent. They were imaginative in solving the problem of closing off the space between the exterior and interior walls for the doggie door. I would hire them again.

It went very well. He did a lot of skilled work in a short period of time, and was professional, polite, and helpful. My wife appreciated both the work she saw (when she came home) and the fact that he had cleaned up thoroughly after himself. I appreciated the fact that he supplied longer wood screws for the railing himself. Definitely a keeper.
