Description of Work: Framed in and hung French doors in my loft, bead boarded my half bath, put crown molding on the kitchen cabinets, and replaced the lattice on my gazebo.

Description of Work: I called Terry last minute for a very quick turnaround (someone else had been a no-show). He called me back immediately even though he was on his way out of town and couldn't do it. He had even tried to find someone else to do the work! We will be calling him in the future.

Description of Work: We were most fortunate to have located Terry Ostrom. He performed several items of carpentry throughout the house to include woodworking filling in the backs of a stairwell to the upstairs of my home as well as enclosing the back of this stairwell with installation of a solid core door with Kwikset locking system. He further installed shelving and clothing rods to include reinforcements as well as a customized set of doors to my husband's office closet. Unfortunately, we had thunder and lightening on 03/08 which knocked out the power in the East Mountains with only about an hour of work left for Terry. We have rescheduled to finish this job but reassured Terry that there are more carpentry jobs at my home to include install of handrails for the stairwell, gate system for my porch and outside French doors. Mr. Ostrom is a diligent professional who performs exceptional carpentry work !

Description of Work: He came and adjusted some doors for me.

Description of Work: Replaced vertical 2x6 on side of garage door and painted it. Original board had rotted. Also scraped, sanded and painted door trim on side of garage. Estimate was what was quoted, and he came on time. Very professional job and did a great job of cleaning up.

Description of Work: We used Terry Ostrom Carpentry for a whole bunch of odds and ends, including carpentry and drywall.

Description of Work: Terry fixed a pocket door which had been bugging us for a couple of years. Now it glides smoothly and we are very pleased. This included drywall work and the patch is very neat. He also fixed a wooden step and did a great job. He shows up when he says he will and cleans up after himself. I recommend Terry.

Description of Work: Terry built a fireplace mantel with entertainment shelf, which required him to remove a drywalled ledge. I had a design in mind, which he used as a guide, and we modified as we went along. The final product is great, and Terry was prompt, very responsive, and worked with me when I wanted a final modification to the entertainment shelf. He does quality work, cleans up after the work, and is really pleasant to work with. I'm having him come back to do some other projects!

Description of Work: Terry did an awesome job installing my new laminate wood floor. This is the second room Terry has installed flooring for me. He always does a great job. Will be having him come back in a month to do another room.

Description of Work: Terry came and helped with various items in the house--installing door hooks, making small repairs, etc. He is very nice, on time and cleans up after himself. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely use him again.

Description of Work: what a blessing! called terry 4/15. came out to give estimate on 4/18. he did all the work 4/19. he fixed 3 doors(an outside door that did not seal well, front glass storm door that did not close when released on it's own and a door going to garage). he also cut a piece of trim PERFECTLY to fit above the dishwasher so that it would look finished. all the work is done well. he reviewed his work with me, was professional, punctual and nice. so nice to have a handyman that specializes in woodwork!

Description of Work: This company wanted $75 for the first hour every time they come out to do any work. This was unacceptable.
