+ -1 moreBeing new to the area, we first did an internet search for 'Locksmith 87048' and found a locksmith listed under 'sponsored results' that serviced the Corrales area, and would come out the next day. Long story short, he did not know what he was doing, and put -every- lock back incorrectly, actually broke one lock and damaged the door ... The next day, two locks actually fell out of the doors. Repeated calls to the original company got me 'voice mail jail,' where a human was not reachable. And calls to the 'locksmith' using a cell phone number that he left got absolutely no response. On to Angie's List, lesson learned - Looked at recommendations, and called Lock and Load. Kurt Seaberg came out immediately, and repaired all the mischief, re-keyed all the locks correctly, and did a few other 'locksmithing' odds and ends, over a period of several days. He was punctual, very professional, and did some work way above and beyond what was needed. And his price was exactly what he had quoted, no hidden charges, no surprises! If you need a real locksmith, I'd recommend Kurt and Lock and Load very, very highly! He is very personable, very skilled, and a great problem-solver.
Description of Work: Lock & Load (Kurt Seaberg) came in to our home in Corrales to repair a re-keying job that was, shall we say, botched by an inexperienced locksmith.

Description of Work: Kurt, the owner, was able to come out the same day to open a dead bolt that hadn't been used in a couple of years and due to the elements it was not an easy job. He got the lock open, re-keyed it and made three keys in about an hour. He was courteous and friendly and really seemed to know his business. There were no negatives in this transaction.
