Description of Work: Swamp cooler turn on furnace off

Description of Work: I paid $69 for an outside faucet replacement( Mar 2015) Plumber contacted me within a reasonable time. I said I wanted to get the job done later in the summer. He said no problem-let him know when I want to do it. I contacted him in June or July but he did not respond. I tried again in late summer and he still hasn't responded. Can you refund my $69?

Description of Work: They didn't come on the scheduled date so I had to call them to reschedule but they gave me a discount because of this.

Description of Work: I heard from Joe's Plumbing only after Angie's list sent an email. I called them to make an appointment and did speak to someone that told me there and been some changes happing in their business and we said he would come out in 2 days. Never showed, never called back to reschedule, never heard another word. Would never use!

Description of Work: First of all they were 2 1/2 hours late because they were tied up from a earlier job, they did call us to tell us. Upon arrival at 1 pm, the owner started to do some work but we had to wait another 30-45 min for his 2 helpers to arrive. As they were setting up to remove the water heater heater, they accidentally hit a picture that was on the wall, knocked it off and the frame broke. I understand that accidents happen, but I was upset that NOBODY told us and we realized it after they left. The owner was told, no apologies were given to us and they never accepted responsibility for breaking it. The owner replied that he would send someone out to the house so that the frame could be replaced. Nobody ever showed up. He could have deducted $20 from the bill immediately. As far as the cost: it seemed a great deal to have a water heater replaced for $629 through Angie's List but the cost went up $535 to add 3 new water lines and a valve. Pretty pricey when the parts are about $100 from Home Depot, so labor was $435 to install those water lines for less than 2 hours of work? Wow sounds like a classic "bait and switch" technique to get business. Not ethical.

Description of Work: Replaced two outdoor hose faucets. Plumber was on-time, worked quickly, and professionally.

Description of Work: I had them put in a furnace and a new water heater. They came both times - very on time- and got the job done well and fast. I had to make some schedule changes and they were very accommodating. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Joe's Plumbing is a family owned business. They came out and checked my Heating And air Conditioning systems. They changed my filter, using my filter, and said all my systems were good. The family member (sorry, I forget his name), was very professional, and thorough. The only problem: I had to call them, because they didn't show for the scheduled appointment, and were late for the rescheduled one. They apologized, and said they usually are punctual. I would use them again, how ever, if they were late, or didn't show for an appointment again, I would change my rating lower. As it is now, I gave them an overall "B" rating because of them missing a scheduled appointment and them being late.

Description of Work: Things went well. When I asked to see the carbon monoxide detector that would be installed that was mentioned in the special I bought, a call was made to the main office. The answer was a little squishy: "the ad should have said installation of the customer's detector -- do you have one you want us to install?" Well, that was NOT what the ad said, so no I didn't have one.
