Four Seasons Heating & Cooling

Description of Work: I only called for an estimate so I can't comment on quality of work. The other reviews looked favorable and I would be willing to pay slightly more for good work. I called to see what the charge would be for a diagnostic visit on a swamp cooler, and was told $79.95. Swamp coolers are very simple and most issues can be diagnosed in under 15 minutes easily (and even over the phone!) I was really surprised at this price -- note that this does NOT include any work to resolve the issue, only a diagnosis. To put things in perspective, the company I normally use charges $45 for full start-up, cleaning, and maintenance at the beginning of the season, which takes well over an hour. Unfortunately they were unavailable and so I had to look for another company. However, I will not be using Four Seasons due the exorbitant price for a troubleshooting visit. I hope they will consider charging by time rather than a flat rate for diagnostics, as most problems are diagnosed very quickly. If there are multiple issues and it takes longer, by all means charge more for that visit.
