Description of Work: This project was in two parts. First part was a repair. A leak of my cooler spattered water on the stucco ~5 years ago, and the stucco started sagging then. The sagging was caused by the rusting of the chicken wire which gave way over time until the stucco collapsed in June. Engel was working on a job up the street; John Engle came by and gave an estimate, and that very afternoon he had a crew on site which removed the damaged cement and stucco, installed new chicken wire, and by that evening new cement was in place. Took another 2-3 weeks for the next couple of cement coats to be applied, stucco to be applied, and the primer and finish colors to be done. I was so impressed with this, that I had them bid on and then repaint the whole house. They removed damaged stucco and cement, |applied new cement, and then stucco, and repainted the entire house. John Engel, his son, and his work crews were attentive, prompt, professional, and did a professional job. The lead man took the initiative to inform us what parts of the task were to be done, in which particular sequence, and they willingly adjusted the schedule to accommodate our requests in terms of allowing us to move plants, flowers, and they moved larger pots of ornamentals so not to have them get oversprayed. Good Job! Good People. They helped us find the right color and made sure that we were happy with that choice during the repair of the collapsed stucco at the beginning of this job. Unlike several contractors from Las Cruces, these guys cleaned the work site before they left, on a daily basis.

Description of Work: Very happy with results. His workers are very conscientious and courteous. No big messes were created or left behind, all windows and frames taped and covered w/plastic. I also have a service business and I see his work all over town and the people I talk to are also happy with his work.

Description of Work: We really liked their service at the estimate and were looking forward to working with them. After giving them the go-ahead, we were told we would hear back to set up the service soon. We did not hear from them for a week and decided to go with another service provider.

Description of Work: Power washed the house, repaired stucco damage, applied 2 coats of elastomeric coating, painted the house, doors, and gates. Also installed seamless gutters. The workers did an excellent job.

Description of Work: The owner of the business does not oversee the work of his crew, nor does he have a reliable foreman to do that for him. He does not check their work. His crew may change from day to day and their performance is spotty. If the crew changes, they would not know what the previous crew had done from day to day. You have to be your own foreman to make sure you get what you pay for. I asked them not paint when it was going to rain, and they promised they would not, but did, resulting in Elastomeric coating washing off. They did not repaint with two coats as promised. The walls that were rain washed are cracking again. Some walls did not get two coats. I had to show Engel where this was the case and he asked me how I knew. I showed him the bottom of the wall, where you could see the difference in paint. They hadn't even painted to the bottom of the wall on the first coat. So, it was obvious that there could not have been two coats. I highly recommend painting a different color in order to assure two coats. I would not recommend them. Our date of service was actually five years ago, but your calendar did not allow me to change it to that date.

Description of Work: Replaced gutter and downspout on back of house. Removed old gutter and took away. | |Excellent service. New gutter and downspout look great, and after the most recent rain, I got to see that it works perfectly!

Description of Work: John Engel is a man of his word! All work was completed on time and ALL work was top notch. He has an excellent team of employees that painted our home and coated the roof, they treated our home as if it was their OWN HOME. Next year we are planning to have John and his team paint the inside of our home.
