Description of Work: I had Richards Roofing come out to give me a Appraisal on roof repairs. He came over immediately. He saw the problem . He pointed out that some of the plywood was warped, the brai paper had spots that leaked and he said he would repair the Parapet. He quoted $1900 and said he would start immediately. I was very happy at that point. I went back to work and later went back to my house thinking that I should cover my kitchen with tarps before he starts work thinking that he was going to replace the plywood and re Brai the roof. When I got to my house he was already finishing up the job. He had 2 workers that replaced the Brai over the area that was damaged. As far as the parapet goes he replaced some nails that were loose. This Whole job took less than 2 hours and the plywood was not replaced. I felt very disappointed but I paid him anyway. It was my fault for not getting the quote in writing. After this repair I had another Angies list company come to give me an appraisal on what the job should have cost and he quoted $800.00. I was ripped off big time by this company. $1900 for 2 hours work, $200 in materials and maybe $80 in labor. I am filing a lawsuit against Richards Roofing. Do Not Hire this company.

Description of Work: A new roof was put onto my mothers house. He called her back with in a day. Work was done a couple of days later. Work was completed in approx. 1 1/2 days. Excellent.

Description of Work: Richard was professional, he came when he said he would, he did what he said he would at the times he said he would. I had complete confidence in the quality of his work.

Description of Work: Richard showed up when he said he would. About 30 minutes after speaking with him. I showed him where the leak was coming into the house and he then went up on the rooftop to check out the condition and what needed to be done. Imagine my relief when he advised it was a minor repair and I did not need a new roof. He left to get some supplies, returned in about 15 minutes. Did the job and was on his way. He was cordial and professional. He will be the one I call for any future problems.

Description of Work: bedroom and kitchen roof leaked during storm. i called richard and he returned call and came immediately. he advised roof repalcement as roof was 20 years old and exact location of leak- since i had a deck on part of the roof- was impossible to identify. i also had richard look at portal roof that pooled water and also at all other roof areas. he gave recommendations to build-up portal roof so water pooling would be eliminated and also to paint other roofing for better longevity every two years. i feel he was direct, factual, knowledgeable, kind and no nonsense. estimate met actual price and was excellent. crew hard-working and swept back patio after done. also took deck and cleaned up after themselves. richard worked right along with them and was on site. ten year warranty for roof and he will come and inspect every two years. started job early morning and done by afternoon. highly recommend.
