Description of Work: trouble shot and fixed malfunctioning back yard sprinkler and drip system. Previous 'national chain' company came out originally when only half the sprinklers were working and when they left none were working and they told me the only way to fix it would be to dig up entire system and replace it for $1500. John from West Mesa found that the last company had taken out then put back in the solenoids backwards which is why it all stopped working. He found and replaced the parts that caused it to stop working in the first place without digging up entire system. It was a little hard to get him on the phone and calls were not always promptly returned but that is sometimes what happens in a small business. Took a few visits to actually figure out and fix the issue. Overall happy that I didn't have to get the whole thing replaced! However his hourly charge is $90 an hour!!!!

Description of Work: One of my sprinklers was leaking. He came out and fixed it quickly and hardly charged me a thing. About a week later, I had him replace my old control box and he showed me how to use it. I recommend West Mesa Sprinklers to all of my friends and co-workers!

+ -1 moreI noticed some wet spots around our valve box and checked it out and found the valve box full of water. I looked on Angies list for sprinkler repair and found West Mesa. I had called others but did not like thier attitude or they could not come out in a timely manner. I talked to John Barks who is the owner and does all the work himself and found him friendly, helpfull, and willing to come out immediately. He came out, inspected the system, found the leak and gave me quote. He came out to do the work right before we were going on vacation. He found other problems but stuck with his quote. He finished the work while we were gone. It was then that he found the front valve leaking and fixed it also and still did not charge us more than the original quote. John was courteous, professional, and knew what he was doing and did the job right at a fair price. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs work on their irrigation system.
Description of Work: Replaced the valve in the backyard (dripline closest to the property line. Rehooked the drip irrigation system to water supply. Checked the system, cleaned and adjusted. Not on the estimate was that he also replaced the valve in the front yard after he found it leaking while we were gone on vacation and he did not charge us for that.
