The original installer must have learned everything he knew by watching bad YouTube videos. John came and replaced the valves, relocated the anti-syphon piping and did an amazing job cleaning up a landslide of mud. He had to dig out four feet of mud to find a leak that had been running for 10 years that no one else had found. He did an amazing job! You will be amazed at how professional and thorough John is. I'll never call anyone else.

Excellent!!! John Barks is super knowledgeable, kind, patient, and efficient. He showed up when he said he would and took the time to walk through our yard and talk to us about every question we had. This was time consuming for him because we are not experts at all in the field of water/homes. John is amazing and our dog, Bolt, loved him!! Thank you John.

We had set up an appointment for "noonish". When John didn't call to meet me at noonish, I called and left a message at about 1 pm. He returned my call at about 2 pm. He then informs me that he wouldn't be able to come by until after his dentist appointment at 4 pm, which would mean after 5 pm. I didn't want to inconvenience my tenants with workers after 5 pm on a Friday evening. John asked if he could call me back that evening to reschedule. I said fine, but he never did. Crappy customer service. Best to find out now before paying your going rate of approximately $90 an hour when you don't seem to be able to comprehend "time".

John arrived, explained what he was going to do and did it efficiently. I plan on hiring John again as my landscaping progresses. He is very easy to work with.

It went great. We had to reschedule because of weather, but I was happy with the service.

great! The job was done efficiently, quickly. He saved me from replacing the valve, was able to repair it with supplies from his truck.

Never happened. Received an estimate ~ 8 days after provider came to look at job. Was told it would be at least 3 weeks but had lots of people to be put into schedule. Sent email 3 weeks later asking when work might happen and have never received a reply. Has no been 7 1/2 weeks since job was first looked at. Hired someone else and job was completed within 1 1/2 weeks. If contractor does not want or need the work should say so up front and not waste customer or his time.

Outstanding. All fixed in very short order. Highest quality work.

John was a true professional and provided us with useful advice.

John adjusted the timer for the irrigation control box and checked the remote control that it functions correctly. Everything went smooth and working properly.

He was on time and did the work quickly. As usual, he explained everything. He is very good about educating his customers. The cost was reasonable.

I called on a Thursday and he came out the following Monday. He quickly diagnosed the problem, had the right parts in his truck, and immediately repaired the valve. It took only about an hour and the sprinkler system was as good as new, with no further leaking. He also gave me free advice on improving my lawn, which has already paid off.

John Barks installed an irrigation control system for a neighbor and they were very pleased with the system so I had him look at our old system, make recommendations and give me an estimate. He removed the old control and installed the new I-Core control unit along with the weather sensors for wind, rain and freeze. The system was tested and everything worked. John then went through the program setting and had us program each of our 11 zones. Good hands-on training, not just a quick over view. We opted for the long range remote roam control unit in order to turn the zones on and off when working on them. On 2.25 acres, this remote unit saves time walking back and forth the to control box to turn the zones on and off. John was prompt, had all the equipment and tools necessary, installed, tested and trained us in one afternoon. He is very professional, honest, and patient during training. We are very pleased with the new system and highly recommend John Barks for landscaping/irrigation system installation.

He showed up for the estimate, but was not very thorough in determining our needs. We got the estimate two weeks later in the mail and not heard from him otherwise. By then we had already hired someone else to do the work.

Found another source, which turned out to be the water softener. Recommended I call someone to look at it.

Late for estimate appointment. Scheduled very quickly after that; work was well done and price was GREAT!

The service was excellent. The price was decent. One person came out and it took an hour for the service. I would tell a friend or family member to call them.

Digging took almost 2 days for two men, owner and helper. installing tubing and emitters took about half a day, Final fill in took half a day. All trees and shrubs pots and gardens now have automated drip irrigation.

Mr. Banks is professional and courteous. He checked the entire system. His recommendations were appropriate and honest. He has integrity. I would not hesitate to recommend.
